In typical burger fashion I'm a mutted up nightmare half Irish half welsh half scots half cherokee and chippawa. Fishing seems fun, especially if you get something in the first hour or two. Then the next week and a half skin is bubbling and blistered, peeling off, very painful. Sunscreen don't do shit, long sleeves still leave face, neck, and hands exposed. It's just always a bad time.But we always had lots of fish growing up. It actually took live five times for me to realize I just don't like fish once I entered the grown up world and started going to restaurants and stuff. It's not that all the places that cook fish sucks, it's just fish that aren't wild caught and go same day to either the plate or freezer suck.

>>84669960It's not actively unattractive (unless you're constantly frying your skin,) but unless you have a guy that also really likes fishing, the time cost is quite high and the tangible benefit quite low. Especially if you have a boat, figure it's the equivalent of being a guy that drops big money on Warhammer. Not immediately disqualifying, but you kind of have to have your ass in gear in other areas in order to be able to sustain it and still have surplus time for relationship and money to help build a life together. The good news is that your odds of finding a fishing guy are going to be substantially higher than the odds of our hypothetical warhammer guy finding a warhammer girl.
