But in general men are much more willing to do these tough jobs than women are, and are also much more effective at them, and they work harder and longer hours. This is due to innate sex differences. The lower willingness to do these jobs would lead to catastrophic shortages and wage inflation, and consequently drastically reduced standard of living for the average person.
