This panel has sincerely changed my life and I cried for half an hour the first time I saw it.Have you ever experienced something samiliar to this?
that's actually pretty sweet. people talk bad about commiseration but this is how it can be applied nicely
>>84742437the umbrella has gaps in it, how is it supposed to protect them from the rain?
>>84742459Do you need me to break this down for you or are you larping?
>>84742459I'll spell it out for you, you can see that they both have perfectly good umbrellas. The girl is a member of their group m/found family, her umbrella is her weapon but also a gift from her mother it's worn out but she refuses to change it.Them suggesting to share with her that umbrella is a sign of their bound.
>>84742472Nta and I get it but I want to see how you break it down
It left an impact on me because how simple and obvious it portrays genuine companionship and friendship I used to be a massive people pleaser doing so much to people for them to like me, hoping I'll get a found family of my own but no one stayed next to me.I realized that I was just giving without receiving, and that a perfect relationship doesn't exist so even if you hate some people in your life as long as they are next to you when it really matters that's the most you can ask for.
>>84742486It's allegorical. They both have umbrellas that aren't messed up. She is already soaking wet and they are not. They complement her umbrella (or whatever her current place in life is right now (hence the allegory)). They share with her in her sorrow and walk together as if her umbrella was good while most likely mutually pretending that they are all dry.I haven't read this manga.
shit's real kawaii, OP.
>>84742548I believe in that girl, she's the miracle. And thank you anon
>>84742522The two should have used their umbrellas and sheltered all three of them in the rain and then repaired her umbrella. These panels only make sense if they were already soaking wet and it was done as a joke. In which case you're crying because you have no friends to partake in jokes with and you felt a sharpened sense of loneliness.
>>84742548holy basedball batgirl
>>84742566I personally don't care about being wet in the rain as a dude but girls get cold. Maybe they all drank cocoa after to warm up or maybe they all fucked afterwards. Who cares man? Read the message not the plothole.
>>84742566>Emotions should be logical Look brother, I know we're all autists here but c'mon.Like would you be kind and tell me if your current social circle is closer to acquaintances or genuine friends.
>>84742595The interpretation of the comic only makes sense if it was done as a joke between the three characters. So if you tell me that if this comic changed your life and you cried over it, I would take this to mean you're lonely. You've clarified you interpreted this instead in an abstract and symbolic way that was meaningful to you. >>84742583That's disgusting >Read the messageI did and have determined that OP created a new message than the one apparent in the comic.
>>84742733Oh my god captain takes everything 100% seriously over here, jesus christOP has said nothing, really. You're a professional straw grasper.
>>84742733It's a comedy story, but it has serious moments, I might be autistic but the scene was clearly not a joke, take this clip as an example of how they do jokes https://youtu.be/2fcLNqxxRJc?si=NMggmUdLCAveTvYY
>>84742761>I can't discern or interpret anything therefore there are no such things as discernment or interpretation, you're grasping at straws Just plain wrong innit idk what to tell you>>84742770If it's a comedy, then it should be obvious that the joke they're sharing amongst each other is a joke, and the result of the joke is that the girl's mood is improved. That is what is apparent from the comic. If you become sad from reading this, what is apparent there is that you don't have friends to make you happy with jokes. The Shakespeare elegy about places in life and sorrow-sharing you've contrived was entirely yours. I think you should become an English teacher in a highschool.
>>84742522That's quite retarded, comics really are for kids
>>84743029So is anime.>>84742952I think Brits, or whatever adjacent you are to them, get off on being stupid.
>>84743075I will take this as a face/izzat-saving concession that you have acknowledged that I've spoken correctly, but you personally don't like that I'm correct, so [playground insult]If you suspect someone speaks English as a first language, but cannot be described as an Englishman, the word you're looking for is 'Anglophone.' >Ex.---Although they were from the same country, the Anglophone from Ontario couldn't understand the Francophone from Quebec. So you basically want to say, per this insult, "Anglophones like being stupid."
>>84742485I didn't get it either. Maybe if I'd read the manga it might have made sense? But wouldn't it have made more sense if one of the guys had offered to share his functional umbrella with her? Seems a bit stupid, to be honest.
