>>
Pickled eggs are very very tasty
>>

Nothing beats soft boiled
>>

>>
>>84762671

Make an omelet
>>

Poached eggs, you can use those to make your own eggs benedict
Boiled eggs, good for a quick snack or to turn into deviled eggs

>>
>>84762644
I am deciding between soft boiled or an omelette
>>84762683
What is a poached egg I have heard of it but haven't actually seen one is it easy to make
>>
Have you considered the devil?
>>
>>84762644
I've tried a soft scramble a couple of times, they're alright.
My favorite is probably making a crustless quiche that I cook in the oven, as simple as just whisking eggs with some flour and milk, throw in some meats, cheese, and vegetables, making it in a muffin tin makes for easy portioning as well.
>>
>>84762869
The devil looks tasty I am heavily considering the options that have been recommended
>>
>>84762895
A quiche. A quiche how could I have forgotten the quiche. The decision is done I will be making a quiche thank you anon I will try your recipe because I forgot how to make one
>>

A poached egg is almost like a boiled egg but you crack it into a pot of simmering, spinning hot water so that the white and yolk stay together and cook. The end result looks like the pic. I've never tried it myself, but I've heard it's difficult.
>>
>>84762644
You should put an egg up your ass and see if your body temperature cooks it, that would be a pretty cool way to cook an egg I think.
>>
>>84762919
Don't forget to grease the sides of your pan with some butter or oil, hope it comes out tasty.
>>
>>84762951
Don't do this. I did this once and forgot about it. Then one day I had to poop and I thought I laid an egg and it was so scary. I spent hours googling "can humans lay eggs" until I remembered I put the egg up there myself lol

leave egg out in the sun for a week and make rotten egg
bless a stranger with rotten egg by swapping a normal egg with rotten egg in a supermarket

Seconding poached eggs, they are really tasty similar to a soft boiled egg and they make for a solidly decadent addition to breakfast sandwiches. It takes a second to get the hang of making them but it's really not hard at all. Just watch a video or two online and you'll figure it out.

You are pure evil.
I hope they catch you before you act on your impulses.

A cool trick for easily peeling hard-boiled eggs if you make them a lot like I do.
>crack each egg near the bottom before you put it in the water, not enough to break the membrane inside so everything leaks out, just enough to crack the shell itself
>after boiling them then shocking ice water, put all the eggs in a plastic bowl, cover, and shake as hard as you can
Most of the shells will come off in one piece each this way. It was a huge game changer for me because I make a lot of egg salad.

Make some tamagoyaki

Not OP but I just made a burnt omelet a couple of hours ago.
It was still tasty, but I do wish I didn't burn it like in that pic.

Eggs have to be the most versatile single food item with all the different ways you can cook them or use them as a base for other dishes.
>>
>>84763137
Their only rival is the potato

My absolute favorite way to prepare eggs is doing it "sous vide" style. Gently "cooking" them for an hour to get slightly runny egg whites and a barely set yolk that is half gel and half a thick, runny sauce. Can be prepared in a batch to put into all kinds of dishes latet to get some additional protein. Make sure to use no salt/spices to not ruin the delicate aroma of the eggs but also get high quality eggs as this gentle cooking method will bring out subtle flavors and low quality eggs will taste kind of gross if prepared like this.
>>
>>84762644
Eat them raw like a real human
>>
>>84762911
if youve never had one then do that. theyre are so good
>>
>>84762644
Onsen eggs are really good.

You ever remember that short video that's posted here and there where it's the Negro that is being cooked alive? You basically need to get yourself into a situation like that, and pop a couple eggs up his ass and when he's done being roasted, that's when you go ahead and carefully cut the asshole out of the cooked negro, and get your eggs! They should be cooked to a certain degree,
>>
>>84762911
deviled is great, make the yolks with mustard and chives, and use hot sauce instead of paprika
>>
>>84763087
this, but i put sriracha instead of ketchup
>>
>>84763528
hear me out... subbing paprika for old bay
>>
>>84763143
What about corn? I feel like it's a close contender. Potato matches the ease of cooking with eggs tho I think
>>
>>84764230
I don't know about what can be made with it
>>
>>84762644
Thanks for the eggselent recommendations
>>
I'm miffed you didn't like my pickled eggs suggestion
They are deceptively delicious and I hope you give them a chance some day, especially the kind where you use beets and they turn pink
>>
>>84764936
Pickled eggs are extremely tasty foods I could eat a million I will make more another day and now that I think of It I already have hard boiled so I might later tonight because it does sound good
>>
>>84764962
Oh wait I meant devil eggs I don't think I have had pickled eggs
>>
>>84764936
I haven't tried that but soft-boiled, marinated eggs are good. Mayak gyeran is the Korean style of marinate eggz.
>>
>>84763003
Did your body temperature cook it?
>>
>>84763143
True. You can do a lot with both of them, but I suppose you can't turn eggs into alcohol so potatoes might just barely have the upper hand.
I like the taste of eggs a little better than I do potatoes, though.
>>
>>84765186
That is something I have never heard before how can one like eggs more than potatoes
>>
>>84762644
Try poached. Eggs benedict are great.
Also not that hard
