Y'all can make fun of him but there's some legitimate truth to what he's saying. There are some things you need to learn and experience during your teenage years that you just can't rewire your brain to relearn after you're older and your neurons are no longer as flexible. Things such as knowing how to court girls, having a huge group of friends to do fun activities with or just lazing around, that sort of thing. It's true that most teenage relationships rarely ever develop further or end well, but that's also a good thing, because it hardens you to the possibilities of disappointment and heartbreak while you're still young and flexible for that. It's the reason why so many incels and social outcasts grow up as neurotic adults who have trouble controlling their emotions, they never went through the social development milestones that would make them more prepared for the hardships of adult life.

Sure, you CAN learn all this stuff after you're older, but you might as well try to learn quantum physics while being bad at math.
