as I've said, there's no some universal beauty that someone can be 100% sure is universal
if you're thinking you're not pretty then you're right, other people can have different reasons to say that so it's hard for a bystander to decide if you should pay them attention or not

If you're a woman and men are saying this to you then it's true from their perspective. Not saying you are objectively beautiful, you are probably a 6/10 on a good day. Men just have low standards and sctuslly find their looks match more attractive than some supermodel.
On the other hand, if these compliments are coming form women they are either making fun of you or feel bad for you.

I don't understand why women have such a resentment towards their looksmatch that they will always look down on men for finding their looksmatch attractive, sometimes even making up theories about how it's a cope because it's the only thing they could attract.
Women are so hateful in their hearts, it makes me sad.
But yes, everything you said is true, women say empty platitudes towards people they feel pity for, men are much more honest about someone's looks, especially when it's unprompted.

Yeah i suppose I dress differently. One day when I was 17 I just suddenly lost baby fat and my cheek that were already a bit sunken became even moreso. Im pretty much insecure over my slightly crooked nose and asymmetrical jaw.

Some asymmetry is needed for attraction, no one is perfect, perfect symmetry creates and uncanny valley response in most people.
You likely exaggerate the asymmetry you see in the mirror because you're so used to seeing it, your brain hyper-focuses on it, but know that everyone is asymmetrical whether you can tell or not.
