I'm trying to get into anime but the writing and dialogue is always so terrible and cringe. How does anyone watch this garbage?
If you didn't just send a whole thread into the archives for ragebait, maybe tell us what anime you watched. If you watched a bunch of shonen or flavor-of-the-month isekaislop I can't fault you for thinking that. Anime fans realistically don't like most of the crap that gets churned out each season, either. We like 2 or 3 if we're lucky and bitch about the rest with the same critiques you have.You also don't have to be into anime. I dunno if you want social approval or to be included in this new thing everyone is into, or if you're just curious and want something to watch, but you're not obligated to like anime, or any particular anime.My honest advice would be to just watch batter anime.
