You can get a big rectangle foam to modify your bed to make it more comfortable. Easily adds inches to usable length. Rv mattress sizes are even shorter than real ones so it's a double necessity there. I can still board flights and use any seat with no problem, I can get on roller coasters, I won't hit my head on the top of door frames or whatever is dangling on the celling, ect. 5'9-6'1 is the ideal male height.
