Grow a beard and invest in exposed brick. Market it along with a breakfast menu of captain crunch, with a side of barcade and DnD.
>>
Bunless burgers are great
>>
>>84853513
Not even a sprinkle of salt on the tomatoes anon, what are you doing?
>>
>>84853532
Yep just like assless sex and drinking purely for insomnia relief.

Kekaroo very true
>>
>>84854238
I can't remember, I think they were roughly 1/3lb. uncooked, maybe a little over.
>>
I like my borgars about 5 or 6oz. Don't bother weighing, just roughly aim for turdpounders. Salt, msg, onion powder, and black pepper just before applying heat. American cheese is a non negotiable unless it's lamb. For lamb you blend yogurt with feta and some green shit(spearmint, oregano, even parsley, dill, or cilantro if that's all that's handy). Needs a whole slice of onion 1/4-1/3" thick, seared but still crunchy.
Pecan is best wood, then hickory, apple and cherry are roughly tied. Mesquite is ass, leave that to the texans and californians.
Mushrooms are never out of place. Fried in butter and garlic it's better than dessert.

That isn't enough food if you only eat once. You are gonna become malnourished.

It's probably fine if he's trying to lose weight on purpose.

add a side salad please
>>84855682
why are you putting foil on your plate? wtf
>>
>>84855728
I popped it back in the broiler for a couple of minutes afterwards to finish melting the cheese fully- you pull it out, slide the foil off and discard. Bam, no mess on the plate, looks better when serving. People eat with your eyes first, anon! Presentation is important.
>>
>>84855682
If that's a genuine silver coin, nice.
>>
>>84855753
You broiled it directly on the plate?

>>84855786
yep, most of my plates are old heavy duty stoneware/corelleware that can withstand kiln temperatures. plus it was only a couple of minutes

with you on that one 100%, just a few days ago actually I had a supposedly "fancy" square serving plate (bought within the past few years too) chip after dropping a small egg pan onto it from about two feet high; thing weighed maybe the same as a 2.5lb. weight plate. Do you have any recommendations on quality brands/lines from a ceramicist's perspective?

I'd go with vintage stuff or Le Creuset ($$$)

I'm checking their site out now and it looks precisely like the kind of heavier duty quality stuff I was looking for, thanks ceramicsanon! I'll be sure to post a meal with the new dinnerware if I end up buying some.

Be careful with chipping ceramic if you buy their cookware. The lifetime warranty should cover it but they make you pay for shipping.
I only cook on cast iron and the only brand I buy is Wagner (vintage), because modern cast iron has shitty sand castings and no machining.
Meanwhile vintage iron is smooth as glass because of higher sand and post-casting machining
>>
>>84856795
Yeah, it seems like everything cookware and kitchenware has declined in quality so much in just the past ten years or so. Around last spring I decided that I'd rather pay a bit more up front to buy something that lasts for 10+ years then have to replace stuff every couple, and so far the policy has worked out great. Next major upgrades are going to be my pans, probably going stainless steel or high quality cast iron like your Wagners for example.
