Unemployed for nearly three years now I'm done with the capitalist system. I did everything right and I have nothing to show for it. Not even Walmart will hire me (I'm expanding my job search beyond software development and IT but my efforts are not bearing fruit). It's so rare I even get an interview (luckily, I do finally have two interviews coming up, but it's taken over a year of job searching to get said interviews and one of them is outside my field)).Still, even if I somehow manage to get a job, it will not make up for these lost years. This anger has become a permanent fixture.
