I sleuthed them out and denied their effort. This is a frustratingly, increasingly common occurrence and we should all stay aware of the tactics phishers and scammers use, and to not trust something that feels authentic. Artists: Learn to love invoicing and using a means of payment that can be compensated for to engender trust with your clients. Commissioners: Don't be afraid to question us if you're concerned about our authenticity. We should be worthy of your trust as well as your money. Both: Communicate in approved channels and accounts.
