I just lucid dream naturally. It's rare but happens every now and then and is blissful. If I try to explicitly induce a lucid dream by the usual methods (check time, light switches, mirror) it usually won't work as expected. I will realize I'm dreaming while in a dream, but the experience is really tense and not pleasant - kind of like having OCD while dreaming. That said, if you've never lucid dreamed before then it's probably still worth forcing by the explicit methods until you can learn to do it naturally.
>>12576713ive lycid dream maybe a few times my whole life, one i explicitly remember from being a kidwhen i realized i was in the dream i wasnt really all that there consciously so i just panicked and tried to force myself awake, and got scared when i realized i couldnt no matter how hard i triedthe current method for inducing lucid dreams i'm trying is SSILD and so far it seems to be the strongest method, but its what gave me a night terror right after doing it
