For a little background I am an autistic trans man, adult. I work and am a functioning member of society I just really struggle in social situations.
I dont always hate being around people as a matter of fact l crave it. It's the interacting with people in that social setting that really freaks me out.
Something I have found to help with this is go to public events and just be near people and be present and enjoy it.

I am currently in a public indoor soccer arena watching a soccer game. Occasionally helping if it strays out of bounds but otherwise not interacting with anyone.
Being around busy people but not being busy myself gives me the stimulation I need.
Does anyone else with autism and social disorders cope this way?

i have autism too & i experience this feeling but i just kinda live with all my suffering and kinda let it go without rly doing anything about it because... i dont deserve nice things i guess? idk ive never rly interrogated myself abt it but its probably some combination of executive dysfunction, toxic masculinity (please dont laugh im using the term right) and like... idk, capitalism probably. i dont do shit i dont meet people i dont go outside & it sucks & i hate it & i just sort of live with it and its like.. background static in my life i guess. it probably affects my health and behavior or something, maybe.
