How do I become this happy and fulfilled? Is it just the effect cute things have on men?
>>12788946Bug eye chink
>>12788948Why are you like this
>>12788948Why is he squinting?
>>12788946Work in a first world country where your products are purchased by people who have all their base needs met and can afford to spend their disposable income on cute plastic.
I wish I was good at literally anything.
>>12788954I see!
>>12788949Because racecar, duh
>>12788946I bet he cums on his figures. I know I would
>>12788962I really hate that you cannot buy anime figures without worrying that somebody might've cum on them. If properly cleaned, you cannot even tell they've been ejaculated on even if you use a blacklight. There are rumors of companies selling used figures as "new" meaning that avoiding used figures doesn't make a difference.I'll never buy anime figures.
>>12789012>you cannot even tell they've been ejaculated on even if you use a blacklight.then whats le problem?Your fortune: Better not tell you now
>>12789012I really don't mind if they've been ejaculated on as long as they're in good condition, even B/B amiami preowned figures are immaculate compared to any used figures for sale in the US, where faded sun damage and plasticizer leakage and even smoke damage is common and they still want next to new prices for their destroyed paint chipped figures with missing parts.
>>12789016It's just gross man. Like using a dish rag someone wiped their ass with after taco bell. Even if it's been bleached and washed, you still don't wanna use that. Whenever I warn people about this they tend to say "who cares?" but I suspect they're the type to be apathetic towards bug and mold infestations as well. Just filthy.
>>12789031Thankfully my provider marks everything that has been returned and is selling as "used" and no fearmongering will change my mind about their validity
>>12789031I'm sure you don't care about all the squished up insect bits and rat guts that got into the mechanically cultivated cotton fibers used to make that dish rag.
>>12789040They get cleaned before, so no
I do this
>>12789040I'd rather touch or ingest bugs than someone elses cum.
>>12789046cum is just a bodily fluid idk how it's any more gross than eating any other part of an animal like their meat for example
>>12789039Believe what you want, but I know how greed can effect any persons integrity.
Relevant stonetoss.
>>12789054Oh no no no
>>12789031I work in sterile processing for a hospital and we clean and sterilize surgical instruments to be used again in another surgery.I want you to consider this: The same forceps or needleholders or hemostats that are used in colorectal surgery may end up being finding its way into a tray for neurosurgery. It is very likely, in fact almost a statistical certainty, that a surgical instrument that's been inside of someone's rectum has also been put into another person's brain.
>>12789071here's a better one, all the water on earth has been going through the water cycle for billions of years and has come into contact with every bodily fluid and waste product from every species of single and multicellular life that has ever lived on earth.
>>12789071That's not really comparable. Those tools are put in the utmost sterile cleaning machines that are more effective than a pot of boiling water and would destroy any figure. Not to mention you aren't taking the tool home and displaying it on your shelf with reverence. There's just something deeply humiliating about displaying and caring for a figure someone else nutted on.
>>12789080How do we get out of this one, bros?
>>12789051I mean, you can see when the figurine box has been opened too
>>12789086all the hydrocarbons extracted from the earth used to make PVC and ABS plastic for your figgies are made from highly compressed dead animals and that also included all the semen in their testicles lole
>>127890864 minutes of exposure time to 270 farenheit steam is actually all that 95% of surgical instruments get for their sterilization cycle. I bet an anime figure could survive that.
>>12789096you're gonna damage any PVC figure with that kind of heat, it may not melt into a puddle but it will deform
okay but we all agree that the whole point of anime figures is to cum on them, right?
>>12789080This is again not comparable. 1. You'll die without water. 2. Water safety is like one the MOST IMPORTANT things in a society. It's not a good analogy when trying to make a "who cares?" argument. Governments spend multi millions to ensure clean and safe water.>>12789089Have you ever seen what tricks card scalpers use? These figures can cost 300+ and I doubt the gooners aren't going to use any reseal tricks.
>>12789107Japanese figures don't have a massive scalper and resale market like Pokemon cards. Also it's much easier to flip pokemon cards and reseal packs with just worthless cards and scam both kids and adults trying to speculate, something you can't do with anime figures because they almost never inflate in value.
>>12789100No, I just like looking at them and occaisionally playing with them
>>12789107My sixth sense knows if something has been tampered with
>>12789113I'm not convinced a deranged guy bored of his $300+ figure isn't going to be greedy and reseal it. He might not even, but the company might be ths one resealing it.>>12789119cope
>>12789132There's no point in faking the new/used condition of a figure if it doesn't affect the price, you're selling something that is no longer made and has a steady stream of interested buyers.
>>12789132You can stop projecting now, you sleazebag
>>12789137Basic knowledge is that mint condition things are worth more than used things.>>12789157Schizo.
>>12788946>How do I become this happy and fulfilled? It's the Japanese culture. They really are happier because the culture is much healthier. Like the second post of this thread just highlights the difference perfectly. That's the American culture. It's toxic, mad, broken, very unhappy.I actually started writing a post about this but didn't post it. But the short version is that I have been thinking I want to live a happier life, and so the solution is to get away from the American culture. Things like 4chan is really just bad for you. And by the way when I say culture I'm talking about the way people act, think about things and so on, the way they know others are like. What's frowned upon, what's expected et cetera, et cetera.
>>12789318working shame based societies are usually better off than hypocritical guilt societies like americathough working guilt societies are better
>>12789359>working shame based>hypocritical guilt>working guilt What does all that even mean?
>>12789365it's sociology
>>12789318>the solution is to get away from the American cultureSo you're just going to become a hermit? Or is the solution to leave America? Where else is there to go to?>Things like 4chan is really just bad for you.You may be right. But as an outsider among outsiders, this is the only place I can really talk to people. The alternative is being alone all the time, which is even worse.
>>12789369I see
>>12788946It's the ahppy wanderer...
>>12789318>It's the Japanese culture. They really are happier because the culture is much healthier.Yeah that's why there are 2 million hikkikomori and hordes of homeless on the street
>>12789389yeah and the suicide forest is a top vacation destination
>>12789389this is GOOD
>>12789374>So you're just going to become a hermit? Or is the solution to leave America? Where else is there to go to?I can't say what the solution is for everyone else. But for me that culture only truly exists online. I can choose where I go online.>this is the only place I can really talk to people. The alternative is being alone all the time, which is even worse. Same. I keep coming back just because I can talk freely here. I still haven't found any real alternative. The thing I know though is that this site doesn't make me happy, it scratches an itch. You say the alternative is being alone, which is worse. I think both of those things could be wrong. For one, you don't know all your alternatives. I'm sure there are some better ones for you. Secondly, even of you were alone all the time. You might be happier that way. I've found that can actually be pretty hard tell. Because it requires you to see yourself more from the outside, or from a larger time scale. In the moment you can get some immediate satisfaction from using this site, but you don't see how your day was actually ruined from it. When I compare the periods I have used this site to the periods I've surrounded myself with good, happy, healthier things, I've been so much happier. To the point where I almost seem like a madman to myself for even coming here. But as I said, it's the itch that I haven't found a replacement for.
>>12789389Maybe they're happy that way too
>>12789450Yeah. Maybe the solution is to keep 4chan use in moderation, while exploiting the alone time as much as possible. Thsnks for opening my eyes. I think I'll take a vacation
