>>12914207do you have any useful advice that will help improve our lives? something that we can pass on to people so even when the thread is gone, your goal will be slowly coming to fruition
>>12914311nice dubs!I think I have learned a few helpful things and I try to share these with people when it's relevant. Some mundane stuff like, try taking turmeric+psyllium husk for gut problems, or magnesium to help relax for sleep, try not smoking weed for a couple hours before bed because it can interfere with REM sleep, get cotton/linen/wool blankets so you don't breathe all that plastic. That kind of stuff. Is there anything in particular you want my thoughts on? I think my biggest advice has to do with how we make memories. We make fewer new memories when we do the same things every day. So I advise people to go try many different things, so at the end of your life you will have a lot more memories to look back on and can feel that you lived well and didn't waste your time. Also by pushing yourself out of your comfort zone and trying many different and new things I think you automatically get more opportunities to make frens, or find a niche of life or career that really makes you happy. This is my other piece of advice, try not to let yourself stagnate in a position that doesn't make you happy just because it's convenient and/or pays your bills. This sounds super cheesy, but really go after your dreams. It's easy to keep putting them off until you've normalized a life in which you no longer consider your dreams attainable. Don't get stuck in this thought pattern. People really can do just about anything imaginable and often times when your dream seems impossible that's just an illusion because getting there takes time and many small steps and you can't expect to achieve it overnight through a single effort. But taking small steps towards a goal really adds up and leads to tangible progress and growth. So start taking those steps, whether that's working on your art, learning skills, get yourself moving closer to the life you want and eventually, with some persistence and luck, I think everybody on this earth has a good chance to make it.Your fortune: キタ━━━━━━(゚∀゚)━━━━━━ !!!!
>>12914362pretty good advice! do you have anything to help with not letting various That Feels get you down? sometimes while sitting at work, especially if it's quiet and there's nothing to do, i just think and go "oh brother what a feel"; but usually i just end up listening to the radio, either music, or talk radio, sometimes one of the spiritual stationsYour fortune: Good news will come to you by mail
>>12914682You just gotta let yourself feel em, I think. Maybe the extent to which you should allow feelings to run unchecked depends on your mental health and personality and stuff, I think it's important to be able to hold on to some kind of pragmatism that can lead you out the other side of what you're feeling. And maybe that's more difficult for some people, for whom feelings easily spiral until they blot out most rationality, the part of yourself that *knows* these things pass and more chances will come even if it doesn't *feel* like they will in the moment. I guess it's maybe tougher when you're worried about the state of the world and bigger things out of your control. But I think it's still the same answer, you gotta let yourself feel it because if you bury your emotions or just distract yourself, the tension stays with you under the surface. Feeling the hurt, loss, sadness, that's how you come to terms with the situation and move through it. At the same time hold on and listen to the pragmatic parts of yourself. The part that says "you have to survive another day before you'll know what that day will bring." That's what will keep you on a steady course when your emotional side is spiraling and lost. That's how I'd say it has been for me at least. We're all different though. I think music can be a good way to parse emotions too, and maybe journaling as well.Your fortune: Excellent Luck
