My point is that as long as you hold onto this attachment, you are never going to move on. These emotions will be a drain on you. Don't forgive them for their sake but for your own. You don't have to talk to them again if you don't want to. But internally you at least have to forgive and move on, then you can put it out of your mind and free of it.
