It will take them another year just to refurbish and relaunch that one rocket, and it will take another 3-5 years after that to ramp up reuse to SpaceX’s current launch cadence. So we’re looking at mid 2030s before we see a large ramp up in Chinese launches. Meanwhile Starship is already fully operational and we’re looking at monthly launches by 2027. And even in China’s own development timeline, their Starship clone won’t be ready until the 2040s

It's a unique combo of like 5 different factors coming into play at the same time. New launchpads+5 reusable rockets designs having their maiden flights+private companies finally starting to mature+China phasing out their older small lift rockets and upgrading a lot of their existing rockets.
