Have to get extremely lucky unfortunately. My one success was from someone who only comes to 4chan for /lit/, clicked /soc/ on a whim, went to my country's thread, and saw I lived nearby and had mutual interests and only added me. The active dwellers of this board aren't great.

My internet friends are all from the one decent Discord server I found where everyone could chip into the group chat at their own pace until a rapport was built. Even for my one success story, we wouldn't chat even a fifth as much if we couldn't meet in person. They're only casually into our main mutual interest so we mostly discuss local bullshit and hanging out in the nearest city.
One of my best friends I met through a stream friends thread here nearly 10 years ago. He even attended my wedding and we've hung out in person a few times. It's a one in a million chance but it can happen.

Turns out they lost their wallet sometime between the panel and going to get their beer. Me being black I think didn't help their suspicions. Still kinda bummed about that

Really had to go through so many duds, but have a couple reliable internet friends for years now. I'd talk to women for longer than a day if they weren't so picky and would date me but they almost always immediately reject me for being an incel. It's stupid that women are so picky and only want to be friends and only friends with non incels. Females just can't truly be lonely apparently
