No loud subs in the distance. No hot girls walking home plastered. Nothing. Streets are empty, everything is quiet.When I was 19, I threw one of the biggest and most fun Halloween parties. I once went to one in around 2009, dressed up as Alex DeLarge. I made out with 3 girls I never dreamed I'd ever get near, being quite autistic and gross looking. The inhabitants of this particular party, ended up being feminists and crazed lefty though police that drank the cool aid. I doubt these people would party as openly now, and even back then, I was starting to see the madness form (but they loved the costume, I mean, it aroused them greatly.)Now this shit just doesn't seem to happen. What is the main thing that kills it, do you think? Phones and social media? The sudden increase in people's political sensitivity? The improved quality of online games, and the highs they bring people to? Everyone still seems to take lots of drugs, but they don't do it together anymore.It makes me feel sad /soc/.
