here is me over the years. 2020 / 2021 / 2022 / 2023 / 2024 / 2025 / 20262020 doesn't feel that long ago. It is the year I would have finished 6th form, had I not re-sat a year. And 2023 is the year I would have graduated uni, had I not re-sat, taken a year out, did a course, uni, dropped out, did some traveling, started uni again... Only when I was making this collarge did I comprehend how much time 6 years really is. Most of this time has been kafkaesq education which I am still not done with. But then I may look back at this, in 12 years time, and this 6 years may feel like not a lot in comparison. They may just blur into 1 era. Who knows. Have I done what I wanted to do in these 6 years? Well I lost my virginity, got laid a few times, somehow got a somewhat long term gf, and made a few friends (though most were not very good ones). All of this I should have done when I was a teen though. I spent about a year of this time living idependently, getting a job, living life as an adult. The last 2 years I have wasted so much time doomscrolling. I used to keep these physical journals and I stacked them ontop of each other, but after a few years of writing them I would look at the bottom one and think 'when I was writing in that one, I had 2 years left of life on this planet in me, now I have 2 fewer years. Now I'm 2 years closer to death.' I wonder what I will do in the next 6 years.
