I understand your pain. I had a best friend of 12 years that turned into an unfaithful girlfriend of not even 9 months. I have tons of hobbies: gardening, cooking, rock climbing, weightlifting, roller skating, woodworking, art, pretty much everything. One day, I want to own my own farm where I grow exotic plants (already started!) and raise exotic animals. I also want to open a sanctuary and breeding program for Gibbons, as they are they coolest primate and they are endangered :(

> Why I Am Lonely
I meet plenty of people, but I find it very hard to connect with the average person. It's not like I give up on people. If someone reaches out, I almost always respond and give them a chance. But when I connect with someone, it is very strong and I can talk for hours and hours. It's just very rare to find someone on the same wavelength as me.

> What I Am Looking For
Someone who is going to put in effort into getting to each other for at least a week. We can text, call, even watch movies and play games. And after that week, if we still aren't clicking, we can go our separate ways. Imo, this is the best way to find someone who actually connects with you.

i'm a hollow shell of a person. loneliness has consumed every square inch of my body. i've been trapped alone in my apartment for a very long time. ten plus years. i don't really enjoy anything anymore. i'd say i'm suicidal but at this point i'm numb to everything and can barely bring myself to move most days. catatonic is the way to put it. i'd just like someone to talk to about life or anything that would distract me from my own circumstances, really. i'm a male btw.

Same here. I cant help but to think of the people I have lost years ago even if I know they were awful. I miss them. What do you have? Maybe it's have it too. Most of my family is mentally ill, asocial, people. Maybe thats what rubbed off on me

I was a NEET for 10 years. I went back to school 3 years ago and now I've been working a real job for a year. I work night shift, but I only work 3 days per week which leads to a lot of nights of me sitting at my computer doing nothing.

>Why are you alone?
I never had many friends throughout school, I've always been extremely self-conscious and often pushed people away when they got too close.

>Why are you here?
Working and has made me enjoy talking to people again. I have to train people on the job often, and I've realized that I really like talking/teaching about things I'm passionate about. I'm not passionate about many things though, so I'd like to broaden my worldview a bit. I'd like to be in a relationship someday too, but it's probably too late for someone with no relationship experience.

I like reading, but often struggle picking books.
I have ~6 years of college education, I like medical science.
I like sandboxy video games that still have a clear goal like MMOs and survival-crafting games.
I like camping and hiking, but it's awkward to do at night.
