If you DO know what's specifically wrong, the drills and advice from youtube instructors can be fine. Also a lot of the youtube videos are catered to people learning to swing for the first time, and they can help when first learning specific parts of the game. (how to chip/how to hit out of a bunker/how to drive vs shoot irons)
There's also a very nasty intersection between YouTubers throwing absolutely everything at the wall in the hopes of pleasing the algorithm and getting on top of the search results, and clueless golfers who have never filmed themselves or seen their own swing who don't know what they're even supposed to look for. So many people trying the absolute wrong advice because they saw it in a video that seemed convincing.Lessons (or actually posting swing) result in much better feedback.

Finally the weather is coming around in my corner of the world. Our golf season is tragically short so I’m excited to get after it. I broke 90 about half the time last year. I’m doubling down on range time and trying to stay under 90 permanently.
I quit my job a month ago and have played golf every single day since, except for like 3 days when it was raining. My hcp has dropped significantly, highly recommend it.

>>140272243It’s a crutch but it works really well. Use it until you get comfortable with your lob wedge. Personally I use my last 20 or so shots at the range just hitting 10-50 yard lobs with my LW and that got me off the chipper.
