I don't mean to even be in a club, just play with your boys so you have feel for it. I get how some plays that may not be that flashy are difficult to pull off and what is a great pass - although at least in terms of passes there is carry over from other inanimate object whacking sports.
But to really feel it you need to play it. Liked me games in Ostrava. Had little idea about what is really going on.
>>141996489
Absolutely proper approach, let them worry.
I was on skates once (1ce) in fact, on Valentine's Day when I was 17 and I didn't even fall, just preemptively sat on my arse when I felt my legs are going different directions. I guess this would be worthy of at least a 5 in scale to 10 for an ice rink job.

Grellier has a better record than Vercher. I knew Grellier but not Vercher

no it's not because the jerseys are meaningless. football teams have historic colours associated with them. Real Madrid will never change form white ever. A cycling team changes when a new sponsor comes. The jerseys mean nothing.

Estimated based off averages that around 8-10 riders starting at the Tour will be homosexual. That's more than an entire team! I think it is very clear that cycling has a problem with homophobia. Traditional cycling countries like Italy and Spain have very negative views toward gay people and this will impact their careers if they were to live openly. Why should they suppress their true self to appease some snotty italian mobsters who are a drain on the sport through organised doping programs? This is the current biggest social issue in pro cycling and I'd be glad to watch it change, and sharpish. It is something I'm beginning to be more passionate about.

unironically, it's absolutely pathetic these traditionalists gatekeeping the sport. Vaughters is a very good figure in teh sport because he doesn't take it too seriously and gives opportunities for social discussion instead of same old boring 'traditional' values. The acceptance of sponsors such as UAE and Bahrain is absolutely sickening too! Not just because of rampant homophobia, but the various other social issues including slave labour! It's like if palastine or hell, even Russia sponsored a team. Imagine the backlash there.

well consoomers, I have canceled Trainer Road after only one attempted session (don't worry, it was only a 30 day free trial).

Yes, creates plans based on your goals and fitness and adjusts them day to day based on fatigue and adaptation.

It's not a bad idea. If it were cheaper and I could easily port to Zwift I would consider it, but already paying enough for Zwift.

Florida is the sunbelt garyteam, which people despise because they aren't true fans of the game but they just have money so gary wants to market the game to them.

Edmonton might be tonight the first Canadian team to win the cup since Montreal did in 1993. They do have tons of bandwagonners though because they drafted the best player of all time a few years ago, and also they drafted Leon Draisaitl who's a pretty elite forward although not generational but close.

I'd say the good guys are Edmonton, but Florida has a lot of Finns which I totally support

Okay consoomers I am trying a new training plan service - Join.cc

This seems to have some of the adaptive features that TrainerRoad had but it is easy to export to either my Wahoo or to Zwift since it works with Training Peaks. The interface is not as slick as TrainerRoad however.

We will see, this one looks bretty gud

>"Why couldn't I win the Tour?", the climber opens in an interview with Helden magazine. "I think I can handle the battle for the yellow. I have looked around me carefully in recent years, I know how to behave in that role. During the race, but also on the bus. It's about exudes self-confidence," he continues.

>The man from Colorado is not afraid of a clash with Vingegaard, as there was in the Vuelta with a dissatisfied Primoz Roglic. "Jonas and I can work well together, we will not make it a mutual battle. We will help each other where we can, especially in the final of the tough mountain stages and then the best at that moment will win."

The Giro last month was a perfect example of how we love to race as a team - putting the pressure on, fighting for every opportunity, and taking chances, and it is how we plan to race in France over the coming weeks.

Also Ineos is deluded, I don't think Thomas made a single attack the entire giro.

i think Pogi is too much of a competitive person to just see his team mate ride away into the sunset with the TDF win
also if one of Pogi's team mates get the jersey your numbers game gets nullified as you can't attack your own teammate who has the jersey (unless you are Visma in the Vuelta)
>>
>>142032552
Riding on proper cobbles is really hard though, mainly because you need a lot of watts to carry your speed which naturally benefits bigger riders. But I do agree light-ish riders with enough power can do just as well as the big guns, they just don't really seek out those races.

If you don't think cobbles are completely different from asphalt or even gravel, though, you have never ridden actual cobbles with a roadbike

Okay, I mean lets put aside that cycling is a very gay sport with the obsession over cycling fashion, very tight clothing that not many feel comfortable in etc. Lets half the estimation! Around 5 of the pros are gay men according to a gross underestimation, 5 men who feel they need to hide their identity to have a career. How many more are bisexual?

Aids is a terrible point to make also. People who care more for their health and they're generally a less sociable type, aids is not a good indication of homosexuality in the peloton. I'd like the sport to be hospitable to gay men as it is to gay women and only then will we truly realise the extent of homosexuality in the peloton. As it stands, they're having to resort to cross dressing as each others' wives to make do.

Did he see it coming too? “After I got sick in the Tour of Switzerland and had to drop out, I could already see the mood brewing. The fact that the team does not have confidence in me is disappointing, I am honest. I have trained really hard for it in recent weeks.”

>“I even went on an altitude internship on the Sierra Nevada again two years ago. My values are better than ever. Now the team is built more around our sprinter Mads Pedersen. Still, after Tao dropped out (referring to Tao Geoghegan Hart, who is still suffering too much from the consequences of his fall in the Critérium du Dauphiné, ed.) that - no matter how annoying it is for him - I would take his place to get."

I thought they went on training camp every year on the serious teams. Anyway the only one he could replace is Julien Bernard. I doubt Ciccone will do well in GC so they could have brought old Moleman to do his own thing instead of an extra helper.

Other riders I remember giving the 'best numbers' speech are de Gendt and Fuglsang so it's just codeword for being washed up.

>>
>>142037847
I read his book that came out a couple years ago and I don't remember anything about that.
Maybe he does hate them but I always simply assumed all top riders did training camps.

Fairly certain Laporte said he went on altitude camp for the first time when joined Jumbo (tryhard team) from Cofidis (unserious team).
>>
>>142038027
>Continuing hard training, better nutrition management, better support in terms of riders... There's one aspect that hasn't been discussed. Teammate Mattias Skjelmose mentioned in an interview with this website that Lidl-Trek also plans to make a difference with altitude training camps. The problem is, Pedersen doesn't participate. "I f*cking hate it. No, I don't do it, even if my coach would say so. Even if I could gain two or three percent? I don’t give a f*ck," he says earnestly, but with a smile on his face. "I tried it once, somewhere in France, and it was the worst experience ever."
>>
>>142038127
>Why exactly? "I don't want to sit on top of a mountain for three weeks, not seeing my family. And then race, which means not seeing them for another four weeks. That's two months in total. I'm too much of a family man to sacrifice that. Taking the family to altitude isn't an option either. You have twelve-hour days there, which is not for them. It's better to be at home, where they have a life. I prefer to complete my training camps in Mallorca, in the sun, but not on top of a mountain."
