Granted he's really good at it but when you play him as an actual number 8 midfielder in a midfield two then you'd see that he's very mediocre, zero positional awareness, had problems turning, can't handle a bit of press, Gerrard had the same problem hence why England were struggling in the middle of the pitch even against shitters.
