Nah it would be hard for small towns like Lake Placid and Lake Tahoe to host the Olympics again with the infrastructure they’d need to host people and get them around the games. The only “winter” types of cities that could do it are Salt Lake and Denver. Everything else doesn’t have the infrastructure (Tahoe, Placid), or doesn’t have the mountains needed (Minneapolis, Chicago). I believe Tahoe gave up bidding with Reno recently (that would also be super weird to host partially in the desert anyways), and NYS wants to try again for Placid with NYC, but I have no clue how they could pull that off considering the distance between them
