Oh, this is still on.Almost forgot about it due to delays, WRC and everything else.Race 1 was rain kino.
valentino rossi
>>158045357I don't know if getting hit by a flying tire is worse than getting dirt all over the churrasco
>>158045836>Race 1 was rain kino.I was surprised it wasn't red flagged sooner, at least they let them get some racing in before that
>>158049812Nice.I started going through some of my photos and playing around with Davinci Resolve to edit them because I am done with giving Adobe money. Still figuring it out.

So I'm not going to pretend sports car racing was ever some incredible talent meritocracy, but it at least used to be the case that they acted on the basis that if you let people Kogay half the field into smithereens you would have enough that wouldn't pay to come back it was bad for the series. These days in shit like IMSA the only concern seems to be not running off the guys crashing everyone by actually officiating them and the whole thing is a fucking dumpster fire like karts and "developmental" stock car racing.
Motor/sp/ort did not survive
>tfw PC fucked for over a month now>turns on at the repair shop>turns on at my parent's house>will not turn on at my place>thrown 600 bucks into fixing it>tried different outlets>tried a UPS>still won't work>but all my other shit works just finethis is becoming a money pit. finna pull the trigger on a laptop tomorrow so I can watch vrooms on something better than a phone.
>>158059485sounds like user error
>>158059565>skill issuemaybe so
asked /g/ and nobody replied. fuck those guys. motor/sp/ort continues to be the only reason I'm on 4chan.
>>158050104That looks great.
>>158059654where on /g/? that place is a shit hole for the most part. how much power is the laptop pulling? assuming this is brazil anon traveling around, still in SEA?
>>158059710no, as I said before, I am not that guy from Brazil (whos PC is also fucked). see my flag? I live 3 hours from Road America.I am getting a mid range laptop to get me by while I figure out what the fuck is cursing my PC.
>>158059751have you tried taking the battery out?
>>158059776>battery>desktop PC???
>>158059295I should have tried to find that part, but I was too tired to think of it at the time. We'll try again another time, boys.
>>158059798oh, I saw laptop and thought you were brazil anon. You can buy a modular power supply on amazon for like $50, see if you can get the board to POST. Just send it back when you're done, won't cost you anything. It will at least let you know that the issue is either your electric or something on the board (possibly hitting the case? and shorting/grounding).
>>158042496for me it is Super Formula, SRO Indy 8 Hour, and the Bathurst 1000.
>>158059485That's really odd.Well, in any case, you should be able to plug your monitor into a laptop.
>>158059917ironically the laptop I'm looking at has a bit higher resolution than the monitor I have for my desktopbut I could dual screen I guess
>>158059949I just assumed it would have a smaller screen. I use an old laptop connected to an old TV to watch most vrooms.
>>158059908yeah I tried a 200 dollar CyberPower UPS and it didn't fix the problem so I returned it the next day to have the money to get laptop
>>158060022no, not a UPS, your power supply in the case. UPS are meme shit. Don't waste your money on them.
>>158059915>SRO Indy 8 HourThat has gotten super comfy since they now run into the darkness. GTWC and ELMS should be cool, too.
Try reseating your ram too. If the thing works after traveling in a car, then doesn't, my guess is something is loose. Check all the cables and stuff. Disconnect everything but power and the RAM, and see if you can get it to power on. If it does, see if you can get into the bios.
tl;dr:>replaced 1 TB hard drive with 1 TB SSD (old hard drive was going bad anyway, separate issue)>replaced old PSU with new PSU>new PSU would not fit in old case>so moved all parts to a new case
>>158060051I did get new PSU, see: >>158060102
>>158060095this is the last year at IMSnext year the race is moving to COTA
>>158060095GTWC America and IGTC at Indy are the same race btw.it's not like Bathurst 12 Hour or Suzuka 1000km that are separate from GTWC Australia and GTWC Asia.
>Race officials found both drivers jointly responsible for the crash between Alex Palou and Kevin Magnussen at the Petit Le Mans.
>>158060297totally on Magnussen, he rammed Palou in the ass
>>158060235I was thinking SRO America and GTWC>>158060336That's what I think too. I don't really know how Palou could be attributed any blame for that if he didn't cross the blend line. I'm not a Palau fan by any stretch.
>>158060402Palou is a very clean driver.he doesn't get "elbows out", he doesn't need to, he beats guys on fast laps, taking care of the car, and strategy. he very rarely puts himself in a position to be penalized.
Cody Ware went straight from his car to an ambulance after the Cup race.
