hello everyone. i dump a lot of photos on /hr/. this takes a long time, so instead, i'm going to create torrents for my images and put them in this thread.
https://files.catbox.moe/4tvb3q.torrenthttps://files.catbox.moe/apt8j8.torrenti'll post more catboxes for more torrents. the next one will be the torrents for "La Grande Bible de Tours", both the original scans and the colourised scans. those are like 9000x12000 so get keen lol.
>>1381086That's not that high res. If you rent a Fuji GFX and a tripod you could take a higher res pic yourself.Issa pretty picture tho. Certainly worthy of archiving
>>1381086Bumping for the Bible scans
>>1381100do you mean the picrel or the scans i'm talking about. also thanks for the recommendation. i'll look into trying what you mentioned.>>1382535see >>>/hr/5135357
>>13826659000x12000 is 108MP. With a tripod all current gen mirrorless cameras (Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fuji...) can do pixel-shift above 100MP. The Fujifilm GFX100 or Hasselblad X2D make 100MP natively for every photo and 400MP in picel-shifts.Every last gen iPhone does 48MP nowadays.9000x12000 just isn't that impressive anymore. Maybe it was in 2015 but not 2025.
>>1382670interesting. thank you for this anon. definitely will look into this. i do have the physical books, which is where i get the scans from, so i will definitely make sure to look into this to get higher resolution scans. i thought that 9000x12000 would be very high resolution considering i rarely see such resolution on /hr/ nowadays. but once again thanks for informing me.
>>1381084Do you have any good texture packs, reference packs or at least good art?
>>1382679Don't listen to him, he's just being autistic. Last-gen DLSMs with 30MP are plenty and 9000x12000 is still top of the line.Chances are your book was printed at 400 DPI at best anyway. There just isn't any information more than the 108MP you already got in there. Gotta shoot the original instead of a book if you want more.
>>1382683i don't think so. i just buy these illustration books and make scans of them. i then share them on here.>>1382693thanks for the input anon. my main focus on here is to share scans from my collection of illustration books in what spare time i get. i'm always open to exploring better methods, but for now, i'm happy with my current approach. thanks again for the info though. i will, if i remember to do so that is, look into different methods that could possibly give higher resolution scans.
I want to be more cultured. Is there a book that has all of the important famous paintings along with their backstory? Perhaps some Taschen stuff?
>>1382784you can find some at annas-archive, also the house of tabula on youtube has some great videos on art>Art Masterpieces to Color: 60 Great Paintings from Botticelli to Picasso>Art: Everything You Need to Know About the Greatest Artists>Art in Detail: 100 Masterpieces>Artists Who Changed History>50 Paintings You Should Know>The Paintings That Revolutionized Art
