>TQI revised one of my decks recently, and I'm having a lot of fun with it.Dis-Cored: The Apple TaxThe Prince - Never Gives Up x4Strike a Good Match x4The Huntsman - Reluctant Enforcer x4Little John - Robin's Pal x4Little John - Resourceful Outlaw x4Flynn Rider - His Own Biggest Fan x4Sheriff of Nottingham - Corrupt Official x4Mouse Armor x4Ray - Easygoing Firefly x4Robin Hood - Daydreamer x4Goofy - Knight For A Day x4Ransack x3Donald Duck - Perfect Gentleman x3The Queen - Disguised Peddler x3Wildcat - Mechanic x2Kida - Royal Warrior x2Beast - Relentless x2A Whole New World x1Having some high resistance bodyguards should give you some coverage while you work towards getting either a Sheriff of Nottingham or Evil Queen out. The high amount of discarding from your hand that you'll do can be offset by using Donald. Flynn, Goofy, and Robin Hood aren't really meant to be played, but sacrificed to the Evil Queen for tons of easy lore. Wildcat will help take care of pesky items, and both he and Ray can be used to take care of evasive enemies (while Ray is also a good option to sacrifice to the Queen). Since sacrificing to the Queen also counts as a discard, it doubles as a trigger to the Sheriff, letting you poke holes in your opponent's high value targets. If you also manage to get a Beast into play, he'll quest for 2 for every time the Sheriff pokes an opponent, which in itself can quickly get you to 20. It would be really nice to swap out the Donalds for Sad Beasts, so I wouldn't have to share the extra card draw with my opponents , but that's a lot of money that I don't have,
Imagine giving money to and promoting the pedo industry known as Disney. This thread glows more than the lolicon threads.
>>92472418Appreciate the bump, friend!
1 cost Herc is still on the table. Wouldn't hate a playable Danny Devito, either
>>92472509I was so excited to see Musketeers finally get some new support, and the Minnie Musketeer is really cute! Shame that Pete's Emerald, though, the Musketeer keyword really didn't need to be split up any further. Of course, if that means more Emerald Musketeers in the future, then I'm all for it.
>>92472523>a playable Danny DevitoI think a lot of people are sleeping on Support as a decent ability, to be honest. I've been unsuccessfully trying to find a viable use for it myself, but I think it was potential. But yeah, a better Phil would be nice, or maybe they can finally put out an interesting card that interacts with Mentors. A training ground Location, perhaps?
Which color will the next Alice be?
>>92474127With all the other Wonderland characters in Emerald, you'd think they'd have an Alice, too. I'd vote for Emerald.
>>92472523Looks cute
Anyone excited for that cooperative game they announced?
>>92470796Wow warte Ravensburg vertreibt Lorcana in Deutschland? Wusste ich gar nicht. Gut zu sehen dass sie sich von ihrer beinahe Insolvenz vor ein paar Jahren erholt haben.
>>92480229Lorcana was released originally in English, French, and German, and as of Inklands, is also available in Italian. Due to the game's massive success, more languages are expected to follow. Since it was launched, Lorcana was available in United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. More countries are likely in the future.
>>92472509>Raya has potential but that also requires a go wide strategy.>Flynn could be fun as in the right deck he nets you a lot of lore and having more power is not necessarily hard. Also with four of him out, that is potentially 12 lore a turn.>Raya is fairly comparable to the shift Cinderella. This might have a home with the already existing stuff of Beast and Robin Hood>Ariel is potentially funny removal>Mirabel is okay.>Minnie I think does have use and this might curb certain strategies if she gets used more.>Gaston is basically a more tanky pluto that can also punch back. Its also 1 less than heart of atlantis for the same effect so there is also that.>The damage moving on Belle is neat, but I don't see her making as big of a splash unless red's "While I have damaged character" strategy takes off.>Bruno has uses already found in amethyst like with Ursula's Cauldron. And that he is evasive effectively makes him a 3L quester. And if you have ways to untap him, such as Fan the Flames, you can try again to get more lore.>Ariel might see play in Ruby/Sapphire Tamatoa decks as she is basically a mini Tamatoa that can only quest for 5.>Anna might make for an interesting build around me card. And based on the previous Anna card it seems to be what they are pivoting towards for this set. As with the other Anna she basically becomes a 3 quester for 2.>Zeus is defintely going to cause someone to be salty. As worse case scenario he is a removal spell that also gets banised.>Pete could be obnoxious based on what ways you have to boost him to 5 strength. But more so obnoxious for aggro decks and some other strategies.>>92472523>1 cost 1/1 with evasive, no downsides, is a 1 lore questerDear god. That is just evil. While less lore than a 2 lore quester, its also far more consistent and requires removal to be thrown its way.
I play Raping Frollo.
>>92483189Ooh, a fellow custom card maker! Glad to see it!
Had some requests for Oogie Boogie in a previous thread, and ended up coming up with a few Nightmare Before Xmas ideas.
>>92472509>Gaston is not the most powerful cardShit game
>>92484879Come now, if we made Gaston as powerful as he really is, it wouldn't be a very fair game, would it?
>>92484803>>92484814>>92484825>>92484843>>92484858>>92484872sick man thanks
What deck are y'all taking to your store championships? I'm all in on Amber/Emerald Rockstar Stitch Pridelands combo.
>>92486970Should return the item when Abu leaves >>92484825Probably could be higher cost than 1 that gets played for free, but idk the "right" cost. Maybe 4 or 5.>>92484872Great design. >>92483189>>92484774Brutal Mogging
Does this game have an equivalent of tribal decks? I like building decks with strong thematics and all the deck lists I've seen so far are pretty much all mix-and-match.
>>92487500no, thank god
>>92487500Probably the biggest tribal deck is the Seven Dwarfs, and to a lesser extent, the 101 Dalmatians. I have a feeling it will be similar with the Madrigals in set 4 (which is a little over a month away). Other tribes are slowly gaining strength as new sets release, but most aren't super viable yet.
>>92487290>Brutal MoggingNo mogging intentional, I'm genuinely happy not to be the only one making custom cards.
>>92487534Why?
>>92487825they haven't printed it
>>92487500Yes we have tribal decks.>Brooms>Pirates>Prince/King>Hero>Seven Dwarves>Madrigal>Musketeers>ItemsAt varying degrees of power. Whoever told you no doesn't understand what a tribal deck is.
>>92488483You mentioned prince/king, but forgot princesses? But, that aside, you just reminded me that apart from The Grand Duke, I don't think I've ever seen anything for queens. I wonder when we'll see more support for that tribe?
>>92488483You forgot to mention Princess and Villains, but yes that is a comprehensive list as of now.
>>92488527Princesses yes have support. Queens are more of the neglected group that doesn't really have anything outside of like 1 card at the moment.>When will we see morePotentially we might get a card this set or the start might be set 5. The thing with support cards is they are not always done in the current yugioh way. Its more like you might get 1 or 2 cards that care but that one card might be all you really need as your mostly playing a character deck to begin with. There are exceptions to this, like Pirates is an easy example where they got a fairly substantial amount of support from inklands (set 3). here is a lot of types. So sets 1 and 2 were mostly the warmup where they can give you like a hero or pirate card but it didn't have support for it other than to be the equivalent of trinket text.>>92488796Also yes villains get support. Along with floodborn.
>>92488483>BroomsTell me more.
>>92489759Not that anon, but the first set introduces Sorcerer Mickey and the Magic Brooms from Fantasia. Mickey could play brooms for 1 ink less and send them to your hand instead of the discard pile. The brooms, meanwhile, could sweep a card from your discard back into your deck, making a mill death unlikely for Amethyst. Set 2 introduced a new broom for Steel that could give another character +1 resistance for a turn when it was played. Set 3 added several new brooms, plus a new location that gave all characters +1 lore and let brooms move there for free. Leaks for set 4 have already shown us that Yen Sid (the wizard Mickey is working for in Fantasia) will have a card that interact with the brooms, as will there be a steel Mickey that deals damage based on brooms in play.

Casual reminder that literally everyone is sleeping on the power level of Hydra-Deadly Serpent and its Watch The Teeth ability.
>>92490412You're not wrong. I haven't encountered anyone using him, and it does seem like a card with a lot of potential. Perhaps a ruby/amber or ruby/sapphire deck that combines self-damage and healing? Teeth and Ambitions would be good card to combo with it.
>>92490484I play ruby/amethyst with fairy godmother to exert her and then challenge with hydra, returning him to hand after a 2-for-1 challenge. Hydra is very underrated now.
>>92490723>fairy godmotherGood call on that one. People tend to forget that returning cards to your hand erases their damage.
>>92490412I have seen people use this card with Hydra. Basically makes it a 4 damage action.
>>92484803>>92484814>>92484825>>92484843>>92484858Thank you very much, anon.
>>92490412It's competing with picrel and Madam Medusa and both of those are easier to get value from.
>>92484907>>92491609No problem, I'm glad you guys like 'em.
>>92492898>easier to get value fromI don't play ruby very much, but if you were to heal the hydra, wouldn't it be of higher value because of potential re-use? (Though I do see the value of direct removal over dealing damage)
>>92493241Yes, higher ceiling on Hydra, but lower floor (you could come in and just be a body). Picrel for other main competitor. You're right Hydra has potential, I think it's just not there yet. Something that pings it multiple times with a single card is probably all it needs to be really good.
>>92493297Fair enough. It seems like ruby's been ramping up self-damage as a strategy as of set 3, so if set 4 continues the trend, maybe we'll see the kind of card you're imagining.
>>92494089I heard this card is really good against Amber decks.
>>92495862Maybe after a successful trial run.
>>92492898>>92493297I get the reasoning behind going with Tremaine or Medusa for single removal, but if I’m going to pay 6 ink on an uninkable slugger, I’d rather have the stronger body and still be able to quest for 2 lore which can still 2for1 on being challenged. I also run 4 Shere Khan for gaining Lore even when I’m swinging with Hydra. After only playing 2 games with the two Hydra I had, it was just dominating the board every time. Now that I have 4 copies it’s so good each time I drop one. I just see more value in removing multiple characters compared to single spot removal and Tremaine is opponents choice anyway. Medusa only hits weak characters. Hydra just straight up fucking kills everything it trades with.
>>92494089Cool
>Preparing for the Set Championship tournaments starting this weekendYeah I'm feeling pretty good. How about you guys?
>>92486103I really like the concept of it, just kind of a risky deck. If you're against steel or ruby and they get their early removal or rush character you might have a bad time.Still, fun deck and best of luck.
>>92502630Wish I could participate. I think the closest place for me is Toronto, and that's a 3 day drive. But, good luck though. Bring us back a story, eh?
>No ink color therefore making it colorless>Only for the ursula raidboss deck>Entangled is the term for characters who get corruptedMaybe this will be a sign they introduce colorless cards and are testing it with Ursula.
>>92502691With any luck I'll have a few stories, I'm playing in four of the fucking tournaments over these two weekends.
>>92502723I'm not opposed to the idea of colorless cards, but if they do it I think now is too soon and if they do the cards should have some kind of a drawback or extra cost.
>>92502818I think if they are kept intentionally weaker than in color versions it would be a fair trade off. Like that Captain Hook - Devious Duelist. Hes a very fair card.
Note: This was an older card, and the intention was that the lore gain to be permanent.
>>92502630Good luck, anon!
>>92506058If you wanted to change it (don't have it) you could make it a +1 Lore Counter. We don't have those yet but no reason we couldn't.
>>92508003For sure, using counters would be a good way to reword that one. I might redo it sometime if I'm not feeling lazy.
>>92472509>Despicable dealer and Treasure Collector in a pawpsicle deckThat's going to be savage. Feel that Minnie would also be an instant win with that deck but probably goes over-budget on un-inkables.
>>92470796>Growing girl is one of the most popular bits of art>Giant fairy was popular enough to get a play mat>Giant ursula gets a whole expansionNoticing a trend.
>>92508511Don't you mean a growing trend?
>>92508835you can't use that phrase
i don't use cards from disney properties post-2010

>>92512748Rude.
>>92513054Very MUCH. You're still missing afew things.
My custom sleeves arrived today.
>>92514919Heeyyyy, those turned out pretty slick looking. Nice!
>>92514919Not bad. I think dragon shields are good enough that double sleeving isn't needed, but I know everyone shuffles differently. Also I have small hands and a fully sleeved deck is already getting kind of big.
>>92515100Thanks!>>92515184I actually triple-sleeved it. Lol. But yeah, the deck isn't very valuable anyway. Just a compulsive thing I do, especially with foils.
>>92515243>triple sleeveDamn, that's way too much. I'm running like a $700 deck and just use the one set of sleeves.
>>92515437I could never single-sleeve a $700 deck, but I guess people have their preferences.
>>92514919Where does one get such a thing?
>>92515544Dragon Shield's website. I have sleeves over them, too, so they're thicker and more matte.
>>92515764I want to make some Judy ones, but I feel like she needs a good enough card in the game to justify it.
there are never enough posts in these threads calling you people tasteless morons.
>>92519236thanks for the bump
>>92518240Neat card. I hope we get some cards from Tangled the series and Cass get some love with her own cards.
>>92520531Yeah, I don't watch the show, but she does seem like an interesting character.
>>92521705I miss them.
>>92526013Are they on D+? You could always do a rewatch.
>>92520531Don't think we've had any characters that are TV series of the movie only so far (TalesSpin doesn't really count). Goof Troop / Goofy Movie seems the next obvious thing to go for.
>>92528430>TalesSpin doesn't really countWhy?
>>92528520They weren't exactly flying planes in the Jungle Book. It's more akin to Pete and Mickey playing a different characters in 3 Musketeers, and A Christmas Carol.
>>92528430Ducktales doesn't count?
>>92528730Not based on a movie
Interesting...
>>92531262>Empty opponent's hand because Green>Sing with Big Robin Hood for free>Return opponent's biggest threat >Discard that same cardWill Green ever stop eating so good? Probably when Steel stops getting tactical nukes.
>>92531539Green was due, it was shit through all of sets 1 and 2.
>>92470796Lol remember when people thought this was going to be a thing?
>>92531943...what, the game?Uh, don't know what to tell you, buddy, but it kinda is.
>>92528430We have Della from Ducktales 2017, there's hope.
>>92531262Green eating good.
>>92531262>>92531539>>92537004Loving this. Green's probably my favorite color at the moment. Is this the first card to have catds be discarded 'at random'? That's kind of significant. Up until now, I think all discarding has been 'of your choice'.
>>92538385Pretty sure it is the first random effect.
Anyone playing this weekend? One of my LCS has a casual Lorcana night on Fridays. I went last weekend, and it was pretty chill. Think I'll go again tomorrow.
>>92544652I play every Wednesday, and I have three Set Championships this weekend, one each day. Hoping to walk away with at least one playmat, but we'll see.
>>92470796What’s the most budget competitive deck? I got a lot of chapter 1 and the second set cards laying around never bothered to learn to play
>>92545035Ruby/Amethyst bounce. You can make a seriously competitive deck for like 80 bucks.
>>92517900>defender of the nightCool
>>92547078Thanks! Though, in a previous thread, one anon pointed out that, upon turning into an item, Goliath ought to lose all of his damage counters, because he reasoned that 'items cannot have damage counters' (which is debatable). However, I liked the idea, because it would absolutely fit with the canon of the show (the gargoyles would heal all wounds after turning to stone for the day), and I would put that rule in if I ever remade the card. Of course, I'd have to adjust his willpower, because 8 was already a little too high, and healing every other turn would make him a little too hard to kill. Then again, looking back at this card now, after set 3 was released, it's kind of funny to think that Goliath's most deadly enemy might be... WildCat.
One hour bros, try to get your tickets.
>>92549705Good luck, Chicago anons!
>>92550217Not from Chicago but I got my ticket, so it's full steam ahead.

>>92552795what I would give for Wind in the Willows to be a good engine let alone in the game to begin with
>>92559717There's an answer I've never heard before. What would a Wind in the Willows engine be like?
>>92555981Huh, I've not seen much green/steel but it clearly worked for you, and looks like a solid deck. Congrats on the payday!
>>92555718Nice mat.
>>92560069Emerald Steel is absolutely a top deck at the moment. And while anecdotal, I am that anon and I just finished my second tourney and placed fourth, so it is working quite well.
