You can always use Fusiliers instead of Crosiers. Say it represent Paramedic or something. And it's not like you absolutely need to match weapons, all you need for proxing is to be able to tell unit apart right away.

are Invincible Army and Torchlight Brigade the only HI focused armies in the game?
>>
>>92531212
Depends what you mean by "HI focused". Armies like JSA and Knightly orders have their heavies front and center in most builds (even if they're not literally your whole army) and, say, Corregidor can build pretty HI focused lists even if it's not their thematic focus.
>>
>>92531322
I mean literally as a whole army. I play MO and they are not HI focused. I am just a little taken away as there are more TAG focused armies than HI focused ones.
>>
>>92531432
There's army that let you field only TAGs?
>>
>>92531432
Infinity requires you to have a way to advance up the board. The primary way is to take a fat Multi HMG and destroy everything watching the board. This is why TAGs need to be available to do many factions. Most of the other factions have Smoke, or heaps of Camo and mobility, instead. IA has Multi HMG on HI, and TLB has +1 Damage on an MSV HMG which makes these viable. JSA and MO don't have any equivalent.

What's the general proxying rules? I mean, is there anything beyond making sure that each proxy is clearly identifiable (like Order Sergeant intended to proxy as Teuton is painted with white robes and same colour as other Teutons) and that silhouette matches (aka proxy for S6 TAG must also be S6 and so on)?
>>
>>92540563
That's pretty much it. Even in official tournaments you can use whatever as long as it's the right size and identifiable.
>>
>>92540563
Yeah, as long as people can tell what it is, it's the right size, and it's some flavor of official CB product, then it's kosher for official tournaments.

I tend to agree, although the Greeks are also really cool.

Most lore is some variation of "these dudes are hard motherfuckers". Combined Army is kind of the like Halo Covenant so there is some cool differences amongst the species. Nomad Hollowmen probably have some of the best lore that is borderline grimdark, plus they look awesome.

>>
>>92537067
That's not a high bar considering how fucking shit the new SP looks
>>
>>92544737
Well, there is still some general lore about each army, highlighting ups and downs. PanO consist of most modern European countries and Catholic Church is strong and influencial organisation but at the same time, PanO as a whole is mostly ruled by corporations, who think only about their profit. Haqquislam might be enlighten, new Islam but at the same time houses biggest human trafficking organisations. Ariadna might fight for their freedom against corporations perfectly willing to strip them dry but they also consist mainly of Russians. Aleph might do everything it can to guide and assist humanity - but as a AI, it is also perfectly willing to perform horrible crimes "for greater good" and who knows what it does to Posthumans minds. Nomads houses worst criminals, mafia, religious feminist nutjobs and illegal shit in whole human sphere but they are also only place outside Alpeh influence, for better or worse. O-12 tries it best to be future UN and maintain peace but they are also not afraid of getting their hands very dirty, also for "greater good". Only sides without any redeeming qualities are YJ (dirty commie Chinese) and Combined Army (dirty space aliens that turn planets into computers to solve problem that cannot be solved by principles).
>>
>>92546957
Wasn't Pano a literal Pajeet Power Fantasy in early editions?
>>
>>92547225
Oceania doesn't mean full India. Plus, they now incorporate basically most of modern western cultures as well. Aleph is now Indian influenced.
>>
>>92547245
PanO explicitly contains India though. It was an Australia + South East Asia + India alliance in the early days.
>>
>>92547225

>Like i said, Pajeet Power Fantasy, just with "trans rites" and modern muslim touch.
NTA but I will help you understand how retarded you are.

The original Concept and implementation of PanOceania Brazil, India, but specifically the Sikhs and other countries that are not considered "major powers" in our current day sense. This is why the Akilis, named after reformation movement of the Sikh place of worship, is in the ORIGINAL STARTER set. this also leads into how the Catholic Church is one of the major powers of the faction.

The "Pajeet" power fantasy would explicitly be ALEPH. which has not only a sectorial but more the half the models are named with Hindu and Vedic. which again is the major religion in India.

BUT WAIT, the "trans rites" goes with NOMADS which not ironically but intentionally has the Bakunin Church (side note: This sectorial is named Mikhail Alexandrovich Bakunin, who was a "Revolutionary Socialist" and self-proclaimed "anarchist") which has a system in play the not only does the trans rights thing but even mirrors it in parody the "WAMYN ONLY" part of it.

AND ONE LAST THING. Islam in the current sense does not even exist as the revolution that cause the reformation of Islam is now Haqqislam in the setting and is more of a "what if" on how Islam could be.

the only thing you got close to getting right was the idea of the Indian power fantasy and it wasn't even the correct faction. please read the lore. the OP has a lot that can be read.
>>
>>92549410
Islam still exists, but mainly in backward enclaves on Earth

>3D Printable!

Is 3D printing really that common in US? Sometimes I feel like some people act as if everyone and their mother have filament and resin printers in their basement.
>>
>>92550847
It's especially going to be more common now after GW's recent retardation. I'm surprise there hasn't been a big influx of new players here. Or maybe infinity just hasn't seen much spotlight for people to find it.
>>
>>92550847
I think there are companies selling it "as a service", so you just upload your files and they ship you the printed pieces.
I know the printers themselves are getting better and cheaper in general but I don't know if that has increased their adoption by a lot...
>>
>>92550847
>not using library printer
Do you even socialist europoor?
>>
>>92550847
Speaking from personal experience (german here), 1/3rd of people in the gaming groups either directly owns a printer, or has direct access to one through work, universiry, etc.
They are very common and you can get very good ones for €300 - €400. Resin/filament is also completly neglecteable price wise. Pic related cost like 1 euro or 2.
I got a friend who has literally printed 3 tables worth of shit out of boredom.

With the LT option costing zero SWC while the non LT cost .5 SWC. This means another aggressive LT for OSS. that is noraml. Shukra added.

A hit from a Plasma Carbine forces its target to make two Saving Rolls, one against the ARM Attribute and the other against the BTS Attribute.

A Critical from the Plasma Carbine forces its target to make an additional Saving Roll against the ARM Attribute. Therefore, the target will perform two Saving Rolls against the ARM Attribute and one against the BTS Attribute.

Yeah, here in America every community has a print fag at this point. And there are dozens of printing services. I know Britbongs are too cucked to daddy GW to dare to 3d print.
>>
>>92575360
Probably varies by country and even city. Of course if you live in place with small scene it's less likely you have someone with a printer.
>>
>>92575511
I'm Australian in a small regional scene and I and every bloke and his mother have a 3d printer.
>>
>>92576077
That's because nobody ships anything to Dingoland
>>
>>92576102
I wouldn't be surprised. Australians are very based in their embrace of chinkcasters and now 3D prints. My main gripe with 3D printers for terrain at least is that there aren't any STLs of futuristic buildings that look like actual places. You get the standard squat habs printable for Infinity, but nothing more convincing like Warsenal apartments or Brutal Cities offices with interiors.
>>
>>92576467
3D printing terrain is a pain, if you misprint it's a lot of resin, and it takes a long time because each piece takes up most of the tray (or often is modular and takes multiple prints to do a single building), and you have to paint the entire thing. Most people just do a basecoat and maybe a bit of simple weathering. I'd honestly prefer pre-painted MDF.
>>
>>92575360
I'm from poland and I only found few sites with printing services, each having no prices listed, instead offering to do valuation based on files and are clearly aiming at mass production. Only one had listed price - equivalent of 4€ per hour of printing. And I heard that 3D printing takes a lot of time.
