Saw LotR for the 1st time this weekend. Really wish the dynamic between him and Aragorn was explored more. The idea of a guy raised by elves genuinely mistrusting the humans he was raised apart from and the guy doing the job of the former and failing at it would have been real interesting. You can just see how much it pains Boromir to see that Aragorn doubts humanity can acieve what is necessary, because Boromir cannot admit his own doubts to himself. The movies were alright besides
