So I finally read Magi Case and it's mediocre. When you choose a clan you don't get any further choice in which abilities you get, you're just given a writeup of 3 possible uses for each magic clan power. Basically in a CYOA about magic you're supposed to come up with your magic yourself for the most part. If you could at least choose a specialization inside your clan magic school it would've been slightly better. The equipment is a hot mess. What do you choose, a magic thing that lets you do magic better... or a pistol. I don't know why Italics is such an absolute retard to be honest. Could've left only rare magic items in the equipment section. Then there's 99999 Pajeet-tier spelling mistakes that makes the CYOA read like a Shadow the Hedgehog OC donutsteel copypasta. The last nail in the coffin is the inclusion of fragmented bloodline. Every single build posted that included it (didn't read because I don't care about faggots) should be invalid. 6 years for this? Overall, really fucking disappointed. Not gonna post in the thread for a month or so seeing as everyone seem to be on board with it. Thanks for reading my blog. It isn't very helpful for solving cases with any degree of subtlety. Even leaning into applying different laws and properties to them to detect something by having an expanding barrier push it away, the spontaneously flying anomaly disguised as your neighbor is going to be just as visible to the normies as it is to you. Also, his method of investigation is to leave subliminal messages through his songs (he plays daily in the streets) so everyone in the area will be his "informant" and if push come to shove, those "informants" would turn into his ensemble cast like the pic you mentioned.Felt like I should allow him to have that much since the Malivent auctor is his direct enemy.
