I ended up rolling Digimon Adventure. Probably going to be a Digimon. I don't want to be the same species as one of the canon digimon partners, but I'm not familiar enough with the other Digimon media to have an attachment to any other digimon lines. Except maybe Diaboromon, but their demonic crackhead energy isn't really a good fit for my jumper who is only ever evil by pure accident.

Commentary: I keep forgetting that half the Marvel folder is Spiderman related. Did anyone notice the new Legend of Zelda game coming out around September, you seem to play Link and Zelda in this though zelda the main character this go around using the dragon quest builder playbook making stuff like tables or water elevator Minecraft style, fixing holes of dark magic in the world I think and making monsters to fight for you like bokoblins and probably other monster, wonder if you can do some bosses as well.

You get a chain, any canon companions you buy are guaranteed to join you from the start. The catch is that while you can choose your jumps and builds in them you don't actually go to those settings, you and your choices end up integrated into a different setting of similar scale/genre.

When you take the jump for a setting you previously got slotted you have a greatly increased chance to end up in the world your build going into that world came from.

i like using things like Get Real from Johnny Test to remove all powers, abilities and what-nots that do not work in our reality. If you're willing to use an SB jump they've got With This Ring in their DC comics folder. Nature of the Soul perk and the 200cp item for having the formula for the danner formula are both really good for basic empowerment for allies, though you'll want either a power ring or some super smarts of your own to figure out how to apply the danner formula to people that have already been born (it normally only works in-vitro). The formula grants significant superstrength and durability, slightly less than that of the local Wonder Woman, as well as considerable longevity and a decent healing factor. Nature of the Soul meanwhile can be used to turn people into WTR style New Gods who can eventually develop divine domains related to the things they're best at, though the perk version lets them develop as many domains as they want (so long as they meet the threshold for developing one at all) instead of being limited to just one. It's a good basic Brick powerset paired with the ability to eventually become a minor-G god with supernatural powers and abilities related to whatever domains they develop. Since the domain development thing is an ongoing deal it's also not just one-and-done meaning it's easier to fanwank further development for the people you give it to. Also becoming a WTR style new god gives a person eternally youthful and gives them ageless immortality alongside being mildly superhuman across the board in general even before accounting for domain shenanigans.

It's actually a plot point in Wind Waker that the Hero of Winds isn't a reincarnation of the hero. The Wind Waker timeline in general makes me partial to the theory that BotW/TotK take place in their own setting and the older games are just myths and legends and Nintendo doesn't want to make people mad by openly breaking continuity, because even compared to some other games, the Wind Waker timeline leading to the Switch games is attempting to fit a square peg in a round hole. Like, even ignoring it isn't the same Link, it also undermines the fact that Wind Waker was thematically about leaving the past to the past and carving a new future free from it's baggage, Ganondorf's character development, and the whole New Hyrule thing. The biggest evidence for them being separate though is honestly the existence of the White Sword of the Sky, which is clearly the Goddess Blade wich shouldn't exist since it became the Master Sword, and most of the descriptions of items that are references to earlier games tend to begin with things like "it is said" and "according to legends."

The only way to get the White Sword of the Sky in-game (without scanning amiibo) is by completing the entirety of the intertwining side quests Goddess Statue of Wisdom, Goddess Statue of Courage, Goddess Statue of Power and The Mother Goddess Statue, at which point Link receives the sword from the restored Mother Goddess Statue in the Forgotten Temple. Ergo, it's clearly meant to be a reward from the Goddesses who could easily recreate the sword/create a duplicate/summon it from some distant timeline since it was by tempering the Goddess Blade in their flames that the Master Sword even exists.

In the Lunars jump I generally operate like the Impossible Mission Force from the old TV show when I’m in urban areas, those who are up to no good have things go wrong and they don’t even know there was a plot against them, while out in the Threshold I’m more like the Lone Ranger.

Consider the fact the ONLY ways to get it in-universe involve doing all of the quests relating to the CREATOR GODDESSES OF THE ENTIRE SETTING and getting it personally bestowed to you, and that you can't get another if you already have one unless it's lost or destroyed. The Goddesses who made the multiverse can obviously just make a perfect replica of their divine blade if they want to.

If you are already a solar you can just take a different Power, the origin based on Creation style heroes is required for taking (non alchemical) Exaltations in the powers section, but you can take other powers instead.

As for how done it is. . . I'd say between 20 and 30% done, I've got the full alchemical tree and a fair few of the power categories done as well as some drawbacks and some other perks scattered around but there's a lot more to do.

Since that prompt blew up let's try making an entire chain out of it.

Chainbutt: Choose an even number of jumps for your chain. As many as you like but at least 2. For each jump two of them are randomly chosen. One to make a build with and another to serve as the setting you enter. The setting is only revealed once your build is set. Each jump is only used once so if you got something you wanted to make a build for as a setting or the the other way around, too bad. Once your chosen pool runs out of jumps you can no longer choose to continue your chain at the end. If you earn a spark along the way, you can choose to bank it instead of cutting the chain short.
