It's still funny to me that the only ones making ideas about Isha being rescued are Imperial fans. Not once have I ever seen an Eldarfag talk about saving Isha beyond either complaining about Imperial fans or saying that it can't be done.

Eldar are beacons in the warp. They can't enter it without getting immediately descended upon by hellraisers. It's about as likely for them to rescue Isha from Nurgle's Garden as it is for them to retrieve the last Crone Sword from Slaanesh's Palace. In fact, they tried it once and became firmly rooted to that notion.
>>
>>93161683
Dominion getting a reaction move is really awesome. It's very flexible and gives them some solid tactical options and continues their theme of being a highly mobile sister skirmish and assault squad.
I hate that battle sister squads have anti-synergy on their kit but are costed like their abilities aren't fighting each other

Dont remove excess paint from your dry-brush off on anything porus (paper, cardboard, fabric, etc), always wipe it off on something like plastic, glass or ceramic or indeed the old paint that you've rubbed off a dry-brush previously. Its pulling out the paint binders that the paint needs to stop it going on chalky.
Looks good though, you going to wash it or do you not like the glossy effect that leaves in the recesses?

I've got an old plate that's basically turning into a texture palette as the paint builds up, but I think the brush was still lacking moisture because it was my first time using a larger drybrush. I just didn't realize how much more it would need than the smaller one.
Still, thanks fren. Gonna leave the armor as is on this one because I'm really happy with the color, but planning to try some panel lining on the next marine I paint.

They don't know any better perhaps? Give it a go yourself and see the difference it makes on two models, one wiped off on ceramic and one wiped off on paper towel.
Guarantee you the paper towel one will look far more chalky/dusty. Makes a big difference especially if you want to do slap-chop painting, like you're doing a squad of 20 orks or something.

All the anti-synergy shit is baffling. Considering they’ve shown to be updating old codices and some indices, I’m surprised they haven’t patched the anti-synergy crap. Like when they’re most recent rules changes essentially made one of the Tau enhancements do nothing and they didn’t fix it at the same time. For my army personally, striking scorpions get Lethal Hits on their weapons, but they have Devastating Wounds that just get skipped if a crit hit triggers an auto-wound. Shit like that just boggles the mind how rules writers miss them and play testers (lol, 12 whole games each) missed it too.

The Pro Acryl washes are surprisingly incredible for panel lining. They adhere to the surface incredibly well. With their added glaze and wash medium, it gets even better. Good luck finding the glaze and wash medium though. It’s been sold out for a while now. It works well with most any paint, not just as an additive for their washes.

I'm trying to come up with a list of fluffy Word Bearer units for a friend getting into the game but could use some help since I'm not much of a CSM guy:
>master of possessions and possessed
A no brainer I guess, even I know that daemon possession is their thing.
>the csm chaplain equivalent and chaos cultists
Same as above, chaos cult and worship and all that.
>regular csm
I heard they're the biggest post heresy Legion so I guess they would use crowds of marines.

After that I'm not sure. Would they consider being a helbrute a honor in service of the gods or just as horrible as the other warbands? Do they have any canon elite warriors other than possessed, like named chosen or terminator units? A chaos lord is probably a safe option as well? Do they aim to ascend into princehood or do they prefer to worship as mortals?

Word Bearers can work with most things for CSM in general, but broadly speaking you'd want more Cultists than Marines and not too many vehicles. A daemon engine or two could be fine. Keep in mind their Detachment Ability works on EVERYTHING that's not allied in, so it's flexible.
>Very Good fit
Cultists (Not Trator Guardsmen)
Accursed Cultists
Possessed
Dark Apostle
Master of Possession
Dark Commune
Allied Daemons
Chaos Spawn
>Good fit
Sorceror (Including in Terminator Armor)
Chaos Lord (Same as above)
Chosen
Terminators
Legionaries and Marines
Soul Grinder
Traitor Guardsmen
Beastmen
Master of Executions
>Okay fit
Rhino
Land Raider
Helbrute
Mauler/Forgefiend
Defiler
Warp Talons
Venomcrawler
>Less than fitting
Havocs
Warpsmith
Raptors
Predators
Vindicators
Obliterators
Bikers

>>
>>93162725
For armies like sisters, there is definitely some gaps in their roster if you want specific roles and tricks.
Warglavies nights bring a str 12 weapon that sisters simply don't have, sisters have no infiltrating units, no units with no deep strike within 12", etc.
There are definitely reasons to snag them though yeah, usually since there is no army rule interaction they might not be the best choice. Also just fun to snag sometimes for flavor.

Slaangor are cool, they're basically what I hope GW does with EC. Most of the Nurgle models for AoS are great too. The newer daemons from... Underworlds? for Tzeentch are pretty nice as well and I hope GW goes in that direction when they eventually update pinks & blues. I've only played a few games of AoS 3rd at 1000 points but it seems pretty decent gameplay wise... just really wish it was still set in proper WHF.

Blackrock is an investment firm devoted to normalizing and standardizing media for popular consumption. The loudest groups online are political ones and their research shows progressives are more liable to spend money, therefore they're instilling the common practice of progressive pandering across numerous markets in order to (in theory) maximize profits.
It's just an investment company chasing fads using faulty logic because investment groups are inherently parasitic and have to gaslight other companies into believing they're needed.
