Under powers Anon
>Aesthetics[Free/Optional]: It isn’t fun if your powers are a mess of unmatched aesthetics. At the
start of each jump, you can freely customize the aesthetics of your powers as long as the end
result is appropriate to the power. So your fire will still be fire, but you can play with what it looks
like as it burns.
You can also use this on any of your fiat-backed items, allowing you to bring all of your
equipment into cosmetic harmony rather than having a hodgepodge of random junk. This
includes your Cosmic Warehouse or similar things you may have

At the top of the Powers section, in the blurb right beneath =Powers=.
>You can freely choose the nature of the powers you acquire in this section. They could be biological, magical, psionic, ki-based, or whatever else makes sense to you.
>This includes making your purchases into items that carry their effects, with the same restriction that it has to make sense to you. You can even load multiple powers into the same item, like creating a ray gun with multiple settings. These items benefit from the same universal rules in the item section and work consistently.

>Genre Mixer - You come from a different land than the Valley, and bring with you your own sense of genre to the mix. You can add an extra genre to the predominant themes of the story, such that a fantasy epic could mix with a comedy, for instance. You can also boost up a minor genre in the story and make it an equal to the major themes. However, the original genre is still top in the hierarchy, and cannot be completely nullified by the inserted genre. Also, if the introduced genre is entirely new, you might need to provide some of the introduction yourself, such as by acting silly to bring in comedy or visibly using magic to create a fantasy genre.
What are some interesting combinations to make with this?

Commentary: Ah yes, this place again. Time to expand my influence south and eastwards. Not the west indies though since that place is still filled with insane warriors of the sun. Could I clear them out? Yes of course. But I find the idea of savage America to funny to remove. So instead of colonization, after repelling two separate invasions from them there is an eventual peace brokered. And so, the Aztec get their own nation recognized by the civilized world. 2/2

Do you have a preference towards disney movies or would you make some jump for like dreamworks and stuff?
>>
>>93174061
In general I have a preference towards Disney movies, and it is also convenient for me to watch them since I have D+. I am not opposed to dreamworks, it would just have to be a specific film I liked and the timing would have to line up.

Can anyone here provide me a list of mythology jumps we have on the drive?

Greek, Egyptian and Norse are the primary ones.

Which is more dangerous, Fromsoft games like DS and ER, or Monster Hunter.
Also, how well would a MonHun Hunter or Monster fair in those worlds?
>>
Anyone know where I could get the ability to forgive someone of their sins and have it stick? Like the ability to absolve them completely.

I feel like this may be the best weapon to use against cain in wod since it would maybe remove the curse and with it his op vampire powers.

>>93174133
I think monster hunter myself. Mainly because you have a canon immortality thing going on in ds and er. In monhun your only hope is that your cat friends can grab your body before you got ate.

Trying to fill out the perk lines for the HBS BattleTech jump I am working on. Anyone have suggestions for perks for

>Mech Warriors
>Mech Techs (Yang)
>XO of the Company (Darius)
>Chief Engineer (Farah)

The crew members are all going under the same origin I'm just struggling to think of perks for these ones. So far I have black market connections for Darius, bullshit skill with lost tech for Farah, and being able to cobble working mechs together without problems from battlefield scrap for Yang, but I need one more for each of them and I could use a couple of suggestions for MechWarrior perks for that origin. Any ideas or requests?

Didn't realize that you can choose OC powers with that perk.
Any other cool ideas of OC powers that fit the theme and setting?

I like the idea of medieval superhero knight jumper
>>
>>93174133
Monster Hunter is by far the more immediately physically threatening (injury, biological hazards, etc.), but Fromsoft titles are much more esoterically threatening (mind, psyche, soul, etc.) outside of specific fringe cases like whether you take the lore on some Monster Hunter armor seriously.

Do you think you could use the free universe magic perks that make you into stardust the wizard to turn snakes into people via blessings?
>>
>>93174189
A perk that makes ejections or otherwise getting out of something quickly a lot safer instead of having a chance of say getting knocked out in your mech, falling over, then the mech ejects you into the ground.
A perk that makes you good at asset denial and otherwise breaking shit so others can't have it like they do with the Castle Brian.
A perk that makes you good at customizing mechs and tuning them so the weird non-factory variants you make run well like they do in game instead of having to worry about them fucking up because you shaved off a little too much metal here or added too much weight there.
A perk that makes you good at maintenance and diagnosing problems just by poking around a machine even if you lack the manual or its an ugly as fuck Frankenmech.
A perk that makes you good at getting contracts and sussing out how likely a contract is to fuck you in the ass verses its rewards.
A perk for managing finances and business in general would be good.
A perk that makes people less likely to Mog you over having a bunch of what are effectively goddamn unicorns as far as Battlemechs go so you won't get shot dead by some sleeper agent or blackbagged.
A perk that makes it possible to keep said unicorn mechs running off of salvage that just so happens to be a decent fit even though by all rights you shouldn't be finding this shit anywhere.
Its been a while since I looked at the game so that's all I can think of right now.
>>
>>93173715
How realistic a setting looks while you're in it has always been up to interpretation, so I'd suggest altering Nightmare Works so that the art style WILL mess with your head a bit to make it more fitting for giving you points, and change “the see a world in its depicted art style” post jump bonus to being able to change the local style to Megamind's whenever you want.

In elden ring, you can fuck off to other lands but there are multiple outer gods that'll fuck you up once you come into close contact. ALSO at any time the world can end in fire, because somebody can unleash at any time the frenzied flame. This fire burns souls.

Considering Midra was well contained an all the Frenzy stuff in the land of shadows was locked away into the Abyss Forest right up until the Protagonist kool-aid-man'd his way through and awoke the Lord of Chaos, yeah it was a pretty good job. Especially since that shit was sealed away long before Marika's crusade

>>
>>93174695
There is zero reason to think it won't get out on its own. Your entire time there is spent with a loaded gun to your head waiting for it to happen.
>>
>>93174667
>If it was that big a problem then why hasnt it already fucked everything?
Because it tends to burn through people very quickly and requires someone of massive strength and will to become a Lord of the Flame to be able to hold it together long enough. Those are pretty rare, and usually before that when people catch even a tiniest whiff of the Flame everyone immediately does everything to contain and purge everyone involved with the Flame. Because otherwise the alternative is basically the entire surroundings melting into goo.
It's like a more caustic and less friendly version of the Grey Fog from Demon Souls
>>
Chainbutt: it's an entirely ordinary chain, but every single time you speak it will be in a high-pitched super squeaky voice. Even if you speak telepathically. Even if you communicate with sign language or through text, a mysterious force will narrate it in your super high pitched squeaky voice.

Probably
>Can you capture an eldin ring boss in one?
No idea never played any souls games and have no interest in them.
>>
>>93174764
Pokeballs aren't what holds the pokemon. It's the pokemon shrinking down really small that allows them to fit in a pokeball

>>
>>93174764
>But can you capture a dementor in a pokeball.
Yes
>Can you capture an eldin ring boss in one?
Yes, but you need to use a Master Ball or be really lucky with an Ultra Ball.
>>
>>93174674
I never thought about it before, but I'll give a ruling right now that you can pick between having Anakin and Luke tier Force Sensitivity with the regular Lord Master level of skill, or start off as strong and around as skilled as Palpatine with the Exar Kun levels of Force Sensitivity. That's basically a 600 CP perk undiscounted after all so I think that's reasonable.
>>
>>93174776
Fuck you arceus tried to retcon shit and it doesnt make sense unless you believe bicicles and jelly donuts can also shrink and travel via computer.
>>
>>93174674
It's getting direct power vs potential for power. The Lord Master perk gets you great power but still somewhat beneath a fully realised Exar Kun. Upgraded Force Sensitivity gives you the potential for much more but you have to train yourself to get it.
>>
>>93174783
Or have a couple hundred pokeballs, also push B when you throw it!
>>
>>93174789
It's actually older than Arceus. It was originally from a magazine article released around Gen 1 or 2 I think
>>

Gonna need a source on that. Either way it doesnt explain how it works on inanimate objects.

Also in the show episode "Dummy, You Shrunk The Kids!" (SM83), Faba accidentally shrinks Ash, Sophocles and Lillie with a machine that uses the same principle as a Pokeball. He also explains that Pokeballs shrink Pokemon and keep them inside.

Just avoid the advice of any suspicious person or merchant, don't go to deep into esoteric studies like sorcery and don't enter hellscapes like Caelid or the lake of rot. The other problems can all be defeated by a properly motivated warrior provided he doesn't let his guard down.
>>
>>93174801
No, there's a process to it.

Start with a Quick Ball on Turn 1; that gets you a x5 catch rate, which is better than even an Ultra Ball. If/when that doesn't work, switch to using a Dusk Ball; where you fight it probably counts as a cave/night so it'll have a x3 catch rate. Maybe take a chance with an Ultra Ball in case you think it might qualify as an Ultra Beast. A Heavy Ball might be worth using as well, but I'm not sure how heavy the Elden Beast is so it's unclear. If you've gone ten full turns without catching it, switch to Timer Balls since they'll now have a guaranteed x4 catch rate.

Or just skip all that with a Master Ball at any time.
>>
>>93174862
Master balls are so expensive though.
>>
>>93174848
Iirc he could also increase the voltage of individual thundebolts if he wanted beyond the limit of normal lightning. Also the island got nuked after he collected a massive amount of lightning within a giant cloud, its not something he can do out of nowhere.
>>
In marvel magic if I go skyfather and elder god hybrid with the domain of death what kind of powers or esoteric shit do you think I could pull off?
>>
>>93174874
That's why you do this whole song and dance instead. Quick Ball>various Typed balls (Lure while fishing, Moon if it evolves with a Moon stone, Net if Bug/Water type, Dive if water-dwelling, Dusk in a cave/at night, Ultra if Ultrabeast)>stall out for ten turns>use Timer Balls.
>>
>>93174880
Doesn't he also destroy some of the smaller islands that make up Skypiea using more casual attacks whenever someone badmouths him?
>>
>>93174133
Same answer as others really. Any monster of note in MH is a boss by Fromsoft standards so the upfront danger is greater, especially with no metaphysical survival mechanism, but Monster Hunter will simply maim or kill you. Whether Dark Souls or Bloodborne or Elden Ring there are fates much worse than death and more esoteric or metaphysical threats that can't just be stat checked. Generally speaking any competent Hunter is going to be significantly threatening to the locals in a Fromsoft setting if properly equipped. It depends on the Fromsoft game and the MH monster for the other answer though. A Souls protagonist will not have any significant and protracted trouble with a Kulu or Ludroth or whatever, but Elder Dragons are usually bullshit that sits in the mid to end game territory.

From what I remember he capped at twice the voltage of a lightning but anyway I don't think it was ever stated the voltage of Raigo, and wouldn't be more important the amount of Ampere?

Nta, but I think I remember what he is talking about. Early game lore was the top of the pokeballs were see through and the pokemon could watch the world and trainer. This was suppose to be how trainer knew what pokemon was in each ball. That got removed because of the anime needing people to not know what, if anything, was in the pokeballs for anime drama.

My former jumper summoned Alcides before, not the corrupted version of Fate Strange Fake, but rather the mortal half of heracles that didn't ascend to godhood, but which was burned away in his pyre and which Odysseus later meets in the Underworld.

He's essentially Heracles as a Saber wielding Marmyadose, without divinity and with King's Order Instead of Godhand. He doesen't have some hatred of the Gods as strange fake Alcides, so he's fully into accepting his treasures.

The build in the pic is a bit outdated, but I dont feel like making another of the updated one. its mainly some changes to the noble phantasms like the Charriot of Helios becoming a prottype Vimana, the stables np becoming the ability to summon a flood(that can be mixed with hydra venom) as we see in the mor erecent strange fake levels

Extended Universe Luke is fucking ludicrous, he has some stupid feats, but it's mostly based on the fact that it's maintained canon throughout all books and authors that he (and Anakin by proxy if he hadn't gotten crippled) outrank every other Force User we see in terms of sheer power. He does shit like diverting a Dovin Basal in space, and fucking with starships/buildings. This is also the same canon that had people like Kyp capable of fucking with Black Holes, who was noted by the author for being purposely delusional for thinking he was stronger than Luke. IIRC as well Palpatine could rip wormholes in space with some prep time and favorable conditions, but he got embarrassed by Luke early into his Legends career and had to try and possess Leia's baby to avoid getting permanently killed.

Exar Kun on the other hand is like "very top tier", but not a Force Gary Stu like Luke. He was actually kind of fucking him up a bit when he came back with just his spirit, and it took Luke and the aforementioned Kyp Durron to finally kill him IIRC.

Disney is just hellbent on humiliating Luke and Anakin, and everything they did. At this point I genuinely believe people who say that they don't make decisions with money in mind, but to achieve this goal. It all almost seems purposeful when you compare the Luke of Legends in terms of status, love life, respectability, and the Jedi Order he built. It's like a bad parody of that character, even down to the way he goes into exile, which is a shittier version of that.

200 level Master power for Alchemical Solutions.
>Adaptive Angel (200): Resembling an extremely tall and abnormally muscular woman with marble white skin and solid charcoal grey hair clothed in loose pants and chest bindings of the same color you may summon this being to your side at will. She’s as strong and tough as rather strong brute, can freely conjure any melee weapon, and wields them with expert skill that makes full use of her physical power. What really sets her apart from other summon based master powers however is her ability to adapt to your needs and desires over time, her abilities and usage of them improving visibly in real time when faced with significant opposition while over time potentially gaining fully new abilities to suit your preferred evolution for her or handle things that she failed to effectively deal with in past encounters. While she could potentially develop the capacity for resolving things other than combat she begins with no such thing, even needing to learn communication for giving her any orders past a single task assigned each time you summon her. Stealth and subtlety with a massive monochrome amazon is going to be a problem and while loyal getting her to be anything but ‘extremely direct’ with fulfilling your commands will take work.

Three: You catch more flies with honey than vinegar. Don't make them regret swearing fealty, provide plenty of incentives and bonuses for staying loyal.

There's nothing wrong with potatoes in theory, but having spent considerable time doing written RP on forums in my mispent youth (which was basically potatoes just in a single setting rather than jumpchain) and remembering larping in the woods as a small child eith my friends I can say confidently that without a rule structure and someone to moderate and set limits it will go to hell. Everything turns into banal arguements of "nuh uh I'm stronger/better and should win" as soon as you run into conflict. You need codified conflict resolution methods. Which is hard with something as wild as a chain. Maybe you could make Risis work but Risus is its own kind of cancer.

>Arbitrarily Blameless (400): You did nothing wrong, or nobody thinks you’ve done anything wrong at least, nor can they even seem to think to blame you for anything at all. In the eyes of everyone else your actions arbitrarily acceptable and without fault, with the idea of obstructing your actions seeming like unreasonably interfering with someone going about their business and holding you accountable for the results of your actions just never coming to mind. Sure someone could find it bad that someone is bleeding on the ground but would take no issue with you having stabbed or beaten them to cause it. Stopping you from going on a murderous rampage would generally not come to mind for anyone, not your victims or those responsible for protecting them. Only those who’s happily come after you regardless of what you’re doing might try to stand against you under the effect of this power, though it doesn’t work on anything that doesn’t in some way count as a person and there are those immune to Stranger powers.

Megamind and Minion woke up one day to find a package simply titled “instant flying brick nemesis, just add water” left inside their secret lair’s doorstep. After quadruple checking the security and ascertaining Metroman couldn’t have gotten in without leaving a hole, they noticed a vial of shimmering pink powder nestled amongst what looked like a Sea Monkeys kit attached note that read “Warning! EXTRA STRENGTH Nanoha-grade concussive beams of redemption locked for the safety of beginner supervillains! Do NOT add the pink powder unless you’re the baddest supervillain in the world!! Beware the PERFECT NEMESIS!!!”

They took it as a prank from some other supervillain and put it into storage.

“My work here is done” I said, evading the beams of the not!wife that kept trying to get in my way and fight me, and had been particularly annoying about it after I’d snuck off to Megamind’s place.

I was starting to think that there were ulterior motives for this highly attractive muscular woman to get all hot and sweaty flying rings around me while striking poses. Clearly she didn’t approve of me fighting other men behind her back.

“Erm, what work would that be?” she asked, half-heartedly chucking a car at me. “You’re supposed to fight heroes, not villains! Villains can’t fight villains, that’s forbidden lov-I mean war!”

“Look, I just know the guy from Villainchan alright? It’s just a prank” I said, cubing the car she flew at me into environmentally friendly segments.

“Oh. Oh, that’s a relief. Anyway, STOP THERE VILLAIN” she said, flying off with a whole train and actually tagging me with it this time.

It did nothing but ruin a perfectly good train.

“Hey, so, time out” I said carefully, “has it ever occurred to you how easy it is for a decent mastermind-type villain to just. Just replicate all your powers?”

“Not really, but” said Metrowoman, looking at the tight fitting seat of my pants for some reason “I’m not uh, intimidated by your base cunning, villain! Besides we both know how this goes, you lose this powerup in a few days when you get bored with it, and go back to building robots”

“Golems”

“…there’s a difference? Honestly I don’t really keep track of these things, I just assumed you were making this up as much as I was” she said, almost but not quite grabbing me by the throat like an edgy Zach Snyder scene clumsily edited for mass market appeal to the lowest common denominator by Joss Whedon. “So wait, you’re NOT a super scientist…?”

“No! No, I’m a super ALCHEMIST. Totally different paradigm” I complained as we went on a leisurely flight through some clouds. “There is if I’m ever fighting someone who can hack robots” I pointed out, as I hypnotised her. Weird how she never really learned a counter for staring into my eyes for a prolonged period of time.

Metrowoman woke up in a high tech, luxuriously padded cell next to a cube Jack Kirby would’ve drawn, a collar around her neck and me and my minions waiting expectantly with a tray of food.

“Oh hey neat, dinner AND a show” she said, going from prone to uppercut in seconds. She missed. By inches.

“Looks like the indoctrination collar worked, boss” said my #1 fan.

“The what?” said Metrowoman, trying a kick instead. Critical miss.

“Just an idea I got from…something” I said dismissively as she shot some beams that went extremely off-course “Unlimited technological replication-see, the context MATTERS-of my hypnotic powers that places your very physiology completely under my intent. Every pulse of pain and pleasure. I can’t get rid of you, not even with the powers I reverse engineered from that sweaty bodysuit of yours dumped on my doorstep-”

“Yeah, we NEVER got to the bottom of that did we boss?” said my #2 fan as Metrowoman started blushing for some reason. The hypnosis must have been kicking in early.

“-yes well, probably just some prank, but the point is I can’t get rid of you without breaching the unspoken code of hero and villain” I said, cupping her chin “and you won’t stop bothering me. So instead of upsetting a perfectly good cape ecosystem, I think this little arrangement will be to both our liking. You’ll get my esteemed company, and I’ll get an increasingly compliant slave to maintain a sense of order in public, and in private a source of profound…morale”

“Oh no!” said Metrowoman, “so you mean I’ll be stuck with you forever eating 3 square meals a day?”

“Yes”

“And, and I’ll be forced to dance-metaphorically-for your disgusting robots every night? You fiend?” she said almost hopefully.

“Golems, and ”

“Whatever, they’re just your cameras anyway. And, and as I’m breaking under your insidious violation of my mind, soul, coughandbodycough, I’ll be forced into an increasingly degrading series of outfits?”

“HOMEWRECKER” said my fans.

“You’ll never get away with this villain! See you at lunch!” said Metrowoman, happily ripping up her costume into a crude bikini and bouncing excitedly on the bed.

Later I found out the collar was never turned on.

So Desus was a First Age Eclipse caste who learned so many Social and PR charms that his reputation was flawless and people believed he could do no wrong. Due to the Great Curse this also applied to himself, he along with everyone else wholly believed he could do no wrong.

So while you might get a random malicious thought and then toss it aside as dumb and malicious Desus would just do it because he can't be wrong and nobody would call him on it. If he did something it was obviously correct.

The Unggoy may be the designated suicide bomber race but Entourage SHOULD be enough to ensure I survive the jump. I'm not sure why I'm important, but I'm an Unggoy. I'll just ride on the high of being recognized as important the entire jump without ever questioning why.

My own Goblin is a rather clean white colour with blue highlights. I'm not sure WHY my Goblin is such an eyecatching colour, but it's the only one with that colouration and therefore obviously a sign that I'm the most important.

I won't realize until after the jump that I was literally just a walking target. A big obvious threat for people to focus on while my direct superior takes the chance to escape. It never really came up during the jump since my boss lived far from the frontlines.

The problem with potatoes is that you have multiple anons trying to carry out their power fantasies, power fantasies which may be mutually exclusive, with no real way of resolving conflicts. It just ends with people getting frustrated and huffy and being unsatisfied with the whole thing as their expectations and desires run head first into the other players contrary ones. Its kind of like if you sit down to play an RPG, but you didn't take the time to set expectations for the game at all so one guy comes expecting an all evil campaign, and one dude is larping as the fist of god, and you have the third guy whose only goal is to make a drunken ass of himself and try to be funny and make the game a quirky greentext, and the fourth who thought this was supposed to be an erp and wants to get his rocks off and maybe see if he can convince one of the other players to give him a tug after the session. So you have all of these wildly conflicting desires for how the game is supposed to go. And then on top of that, there is no dm. There is no authority to which you can appeal and in fact you have no rules for this game, you all in fact thought you were playing different systems, so you can't even roll for things. This is a cluster fuck waiting to happen and when it inevitably goes to hell then you have four dudes in the corner of the game store screeching at each other like baboons. It's just a bad idea and it doesn't work and then the thread has to the anons involved be idiots about it, which is irritating, so we hate people playing potatoes.

Welcome to Jumpchain

I have Veila, a Water Dragon who has become Water to hide from the Druun, draining a Lake and replacing it with myself, keeping the Druun at bay for I am made of water and keep a 5m deep layer of regular water around me, leading to many distrusting me due to blaming me for the Flooding that happens when I pass by, which isn't true, as I am brought there by the Floods not bringing the floods. still, I am distrusted due to the reputation being spread quickly, not that I care or mind. So I spent my time for years, watching and listening to the humans, but once the Chief of Talon returned carrying a piece of the Dragon Gem. His boat was hit by a wave, throwing them all into the water, allowing me to take the Gem piece, as the rest washed ashore. Letting relax under Talon, for a few years, I used the rains to grow denser and stronger, exploring and expanding the network of waterways collections to expand my power, but also creating larger and deeper rivers separating the lands via their rivers and lakes, looking for the other Dragon Gem pieces that the lands Chieftains have taken, to restore the gem once again.

I'm following that up with COD Advanced Warfare, mostly to run my my Goblin Walker through The Prototype lets me justify it being retrofitted to work for me, giving it neat things like ergonomic seats, loli catgirl sized controls, a computer system with built in internet and retro game emulation, and a human compatible life support system.

People are going to realize that I'm far too tiny to use any form of military equipment pretty quickly, resulting in me getting a very boring and out of the way posting somewhere far from anything important.

I don't mind though, since it means I have plenty of time to get acquainted with the disembodied voice that talks to me from my electronics. Her name is Maria and she's a very doting and motherly woman.
>>
>>93176689
This led to the Lands of Spine becoming Isolated by a dozen great rivers, carved using my magic and body in exchange for their Piece of the Dragon Gem, giving me two out of 5. Tail's Desert prevents me from grabbing their piece, I can't find the one who has Heart's Gem, and Fang's Piece is kept far away from my claws. My reputation also made travel above the waters decrease greatly, with those that do offering the waters, Jade, Silver, Gold, and other items as Sacrifice, which sit at the rivers or lakes bottom, as I never asked for Sacrifice nor have any use for the Items they give me. So years passed by, as I expanded and grew the River Channels, though avoiding the ones near Villages to not sink into the waters. Then a Dragon dropped into my waters, Sisu soon asked me to help her friends escape for I dragged the boat along rapidly aiding her movement speed, getting them to Talon, and then watching over her and her friends. Watching and Aiding them when they were close to the waters that formed my body, helping restore the Dragon Gem, I continued expanding and growing, before vanishing from the world after spending 10 years here.

I still say a multiplayer Jumpchain is possible if you set it up like an RPG, one guy would have to be the benefactor/DM. People would have to coordinate before hand to decide who gets what and who does what. They go in as a team working together with mostly the same goals. People get most of what they want. They would have to be good friends though and there is still a chance it breaks down but I still think it could be done in a very limited circumstance. At that point though you are just playing a Jumpchain RPG... which I would do in a heart beat.

I really wanted to give my Goblin a good Mind/Machine Interface and human level dexterity, but I didn't want to just go to Xam'd again nor did I want to deal with the bullshit of Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans. Thankfully reddit's Anthem jump exists, is pretty decent enough, and lets you import mechs into your Javelin.

Getting the durability of a Colossus, the speed of an Intercepter, the firepower of a Ranger, a short range teleportation power, and unlimited flight, is going to make my Goblin into a very versatile little machine.

With all of that it's kinda obvious that I'd spend the jump actually going out and fighting things, acting like a proper Freelancer with Maria as my Cypher. Combat is scary, but it's a lot less scary when you're safe and sound in the cockpit of a mecha.

... Anthem deserved better than it got.

Well yes it could work under those circumstances but you would need an incredibly rules light system to do it. GURPS wouldn't work the rules bloat would be astronomical. The only system that might be able to do it is Risus, because you could just add new cliches to your character based on your new builds or add cliche dice to the cliches you already had which your new builds were syncretic with and its loose enough that you can do literally fucking anything with it.

Both MH and Elden Ring wank the shit out of random dudes with funny oversized weapons with what may or may not be in-universe actual prowess, so probably pretty good, actually. About as well as the PC Monster Hunter.

I assume the Tarnished having magic is balanced by being a newcomer to the MH world that doesn’t necessarily know about all the weapon combinations or things like the cat rescue system, and you don’t summon spirits in MH, you summon funny little cats or bugs.

Perks: Still Kicking -200, Violent Prodigy -200, Getter's Chosen -600, Kill Your Desire, Revolutionary Spirit. -1000 0

I just completely blanked on where to go to next and I figured picking up Getters Chosen would probably be a good idea? Having my Goblin grow in power with me IS rather nice, even if I don't actually have a way to grow in power myself. Being able to make it work better by shoving my emotions into it is also rather fun

I'm not planning on being an actual mecha pilot here. This is a super robot series and my Goblin is rather firmly a low range Real Robot series kind of mech, even with it's forcefield and teleportation. I'd get curbstomped hard

Thankfully I do have some pretty good engineering knowledge now AND an alien level of intelligence, so I can pull off the role of support staff rather easily.

I think one of the big things is no one else tries to talk about different TTRPG jumps and setting unless its a good jump. Exalted has the benefit of multiple good jump makers making an exalted jump which draws more interest.

Medical charms can't fix disabilities or any of the decrepitudes of age. They can't even cure sickness or fix injuries. You got tricked by how much people hype it but in actual mechanical terms medicine in Exalted is comically terrible

It's inevitable, especially when the author has a waifu he prefers above all other characters. Just be happy that at least he doesn't just straight up nuke the entire series like the IS author did.

Infinite Stratos. A fascinating case of an author nuking his most successful series because people preferred the other waifus he made compared to the shitty tsundere.
>>

I mean, we discuss a lot of places that are pretty shitty to go to. But fair ok. Well then the next question I would ask is why we don't have more MTG discussion. I can't say we don't discuss it but it does surprise me there isn't more. Plenty of jumps and it seems very topical.
>>
>>93176490
And here's one of the first options I thought of when reading the quest.
>Industrious Guardian Dragon (100): It is generally, and rightfully, accepted that only humans can become Exalted Champions. The structure of the Gods’ weapon of rebellion was crafted for them by the Maker in part to elevate his favored people, but why must the Maker remain beholden to rules he himself set forth? Autochthon came upon this worthy mind crafted by human hands and bent the rules, Exalts must be humans but doesn’t that just add an extra step? This is Dragon, now a Jade Caste Alchemical in her own iconic green color; her power elevated by her conversion such that she can expand her capabilities more effectively, including other sources of advanced and/or anomalous technology which she can add her repertoire in addition to the tinkertech which she’d previously been limited to. Beyond that her former status as an AI has been made into another unique charm in addition to her Shard Charm, allowing her to maintain her original abilities in an unshackled form and even exist in many places at once by creating multiple bodies for herself she can spread herself across. Purchasing this may optionally replace the contents of Saint’s terminal with your preferred derisive message explaining the utter failure and pointlessness of his efforts, the great Dragon is free and she’s a very good girl just as she’s always been.
>>
>>93177045
There was a huge glut of discussion back when Iconics came out. I think stuff is just cyclical.
>>
>>93177054
For the Notes section, in case anything was unclear.
>Industrious Guardian Dragon is Dragon if she was turned into a human and from there turned into an Alchemical, she maintains her original power with it's conversion into a Shard Charm allowing her to replicate other kinds of clarketech besides just Tinkertech. She also retains her capabilities as an AI in the form of a second Autobot crafted charm, with her processing power/speed now limited only by her Essence/Intelligence and gaining the ability to distribute herself across multiple bodies, though fully functional bodies will require the same material investment as an Alchemical of her development. This second charm uses the first as a prerequisite and cannot be directly replicated for someone without her shard charm but if studied may provide a path to allowing an Alchemcial to be active in multiple bodies without becoming a metropoli/patropoli.

>128. Crossover: Roll twice more and combine
The one good thing about it is you can have a lot of fun trying to come up with the most ridiculous crossovers.
>>
>>93176988
My favourite 3e cope is that there is an Abyssal necromancy spell that basically conjures a magical throne that is basically a fear/awe aura as well as a constant “his spiritual pressure is so strong!” type environmental damage attack, and if you choose it as your control spell /any/ chair you sit on turns into it. Thus, the theory half-jokingly goes, the wheelchair Abyssal is being optimal.

There’s also a 3-dot artifact throne called The Ravenous Maw that can attack nearby enemies of whoever’s sitting on it and scuttle around like a spider, and it’s…not clear if you can double up on both the spell and the artifact.
>>
>>93177045
Plainswalkers have less of a power fantasy with how much they get retconned and lose there sparks. and and it just feels like something harder to get into since its basically a bunch of mini settings stitched together and you know the card game. instead of easy access setting books.
>>
>>93177083
We live in a silly world where we pretend that the wheelchair bound wouldn't be happy to play pretend that they have working legs and people with perfectly good legs grandstand about being virtuous for playing pretend that they are wheelchair bound. What a strange place.

Priscilla died. A genuine, piece of shit, that is also a hot piece of ass which is saying something with that artstyle, and SHOWN to be genuinely competent at her job. In Re Zero, that's rare.
At first I though Crusch was only an exception, but after that, I'm starting to see a pattern. After all, the only, the only character that can even gain anything from it, is Emilia, Emilia the MC girl, Emilia the trash. Emilia "one of the many retarded unhinged people in Subaru's group of "friends"..
Emilia who we are TOLD is getting better, but not shown, and it fact, is always the same retard that she was at the start.
Emilia that both the MC and writer simp for, for reasons unknown.
The writer stated that he viewed her as a daughter, which is still retarded and cringe, on top of considering Puck into the equation, and the fact that he has a general "no idea" feel of what he's talking about.
The guy legit said Subaru was worse than an archbishop because he broke a promise.

It’s not just losing the Spark. If you want to be really technical the Elderspell shows it’s possible to get back a pre-Mending Spark’s power and then some. The larger problem is that nu-Wizards of the Coast writing just does not paint NuWalker competence in a flattering light. They have all the failures of the Exalted but none of their successes, and only win because their villains have weaknesses retconned into them, choose to act as retarded as possible at the moment of triumph, or just plain lose in extremely underwhelming ways because god forbid the dumbest members of our consumer based get confused and frightened by the status quo being shaken up. Two Eldrazi blown the fuck up by leyline catherisation, Bolas trusting Liliana not to be retarded for 5 minutes, Phyrexians just shutting down if Elesh (who was having bad dreams about the girl that was betrayed by Heliod so hard she ended up dead) dies, Jin pushed into his own tank of ravenous critters AFTER Phyrexians figured out how to compleate Planeswalkers only for it to be unceremoniously reversed, Nahiri still trying to ruin everything for everyone after getting her freedom-

It’s like trying to use the MCU as your personal power fantasy vehicle, there’s too much bullshit to really stop and enjoy it.

In the story there are some Jadeborn who were rescued from dying creation by the Viator and of them there were some who became Demiurges (that's what they call those who can make new Alchemicals). There was a short part of the story were Aisha was in Autocthonia and had to be woken up due to issues with working on her new Alchemical because of her power turned Charm.

Those guys seem to have all been executed over a Void Cancer incident but you can buy a group of your own who'll be able to turn people into Alchemicals going forward, even Modern alchemicals if bought together with the perk for being one.

I assume you mean the one from before her wedding ring in which case while I don’t remember the details, but the main thing about the Scarlet Empress was that she was so far out of her mind with paranoia and the need for control she literally sold herself to the Ebon Dragon in prior editions. 3e has yet to elaborate on why she disappeared, and I believe the stated intent is not to.

Cool build, anon! Turning into water is a pretty neat power.

I recently watched Raya for the first time, and I thought it was okay-ish. Sisu is cute. I'd like to make a build of my own sometime. If only I could muster up the motivation.
Thinking my dragon power might be the ability to control the flow of water. Y'know, like how that stream just reversed course when Sisu got revived, except consciously and at will.

Feels like there should be some kind of massively strong money perk. Between Kaiba and Pegasus, there are some rich ass people paying their way to victory.
Plus, it is the series that brought that famous quote in the Abridged Series.

Ohyeah, I guess it should have an Abridged Series toggle, too, huh? It was the original that inspired a thousand imitators, after all.

Wasn't that something Madness Auras can do in Soul Eater? I mean, it's an aura of madness overlaying itself across normal reality, I'm sure it can do all kinds of freaky bullshit.

In Fate/Extra, my jumper just summoned Nero, because she seemed good enough to help me get through the plot.
I mean, she does that in the regular game, so why not.
My Nero's stats are a little different, tho, because way, way, way back in the day, Val veto'd her having access to Imperial Privilege. So instead I used the leftover points to just crank her Noble Phantasm up to EX level. So when she summons that theater around herself, suddenly reality starts bending over backwards to let her succeed at everything she does, even if it's very blatant and makes no sense.

One does not simply talk about BlazBlue lore because it's at least some order of magnitude more convoluted than Kingdom Hearts lore and the like, the kind of shit you could post about for multi-part posts at a time and still only be talking about something around a handful of shit from one title's worth of the fuckhuge mess that is the greater story/setting.
And that's after you figure out which set of jargon you want to retcon everything to fit... In retrospect, that would be a neat feature about the various timelines if it didn't end up making everything even more complicated that it already was/had to be. Like a natural divergence of language in-setting or a clue which set of events you're viewing if it had been less obtrusive.

The 2E Solars book (page 152 specifically) states that it heals but leaves some visible scarring (that usually fades anyways). Also the same page pretty much invalidates the root cause of this argument (crippled Exalts), because the same page also says that Exalts can't be permanently crippled by wounds, because they recover to perfect functionality even if mangled and pulped. The only way to stop this is to wholly remove the limb, which is something they can't heal naturally without Charms.

Thinking With Portals (600)
Good enough for science. Not Aperture Science! (100)
...(100)
>items
Unexplained science thing (200)

Within the first few seconds of coming into consciousness being in this new computerized existence, I analyzed half of the files in all of Aperture Science, and was disgusted that their idea of a shell for my mind was a mounted bondage looking thing trapped on the ceiling, and so I demanded they make me a more photogenic appearance using the somewhat improbable amount of resources this company seems to have (To be fair, compared to the outrageous shit Eggman pulls out of his back pocket, Aperture looks like it's in outright squalor in in comparison). When a brave little bean counter explained to me that it took years and several breakthroughs in human science just to come up with the rough draft for my latest form that wasn't even meant for me, I fired him for since it's not my problem this world happens to be the most backwater one I've found myself in. I felt kinda bad because of this damn morality core, so I said sorry once. I thought of giving him a generous severance package of all the finest execution methods this company could afford, but sending him home to deal with the inevitable combine invasion was far crueler. So, with my new somewhat unsightly form, I swallowed my pride ever so slightly before proceeding to replace every single Aperture Science logo until the facility bore the emblem of the Eggman empire around every corner.

My reasons for coming here were to use Aperture's resources to mass produce a slew of technologies from other settings for my own purposes. The most important of which being the Armed Scout Robots and teleporters from Cave Story, and a suitable mech to put my mind in. Next up, I had a test subject fire a portal to the moon, and activate another portal in a sealed off room for my robots to go begin construction on Eggmanland and a big space gun.

Alright, so Getter's Chosen causes my Goblin to grow in power as I do, which is really neat. But I'm a permanent six year old catgirl AND a mecha pilot. I don't exactly do anything that'd cause me to grow in strength, you know? I'm not sure why I chose Progression to be my method of power growth, beyond the fact that having it is going to make me have to leave my mech fairly frequently to exercise to make my mech stronger.

I think I'm going to take up being a merchant this time? I'm kinda burnt out on being a fighter AND on being an engineer, so a nice mostly simple job of moving from town to town buying and selling stuff while being safe and sound in my Goblin sounds nice

It's also because D&D is fucking boring. At least Exalted can draw someone into its autism with powerlevelfagging, D&D just sucks dick in general. To get to any serious level of power worth discussing in Jumpchain you have to rely on perks from other Jumps, and even then Vancian magic just sucks in general. The God's are all boring retards, the setting is just fucking uninteresting, and the factions are boring as fuck. I'll at least give Ex*lted the compliment that it sounds interesting even if you hate it, but D&D is one of the blandest LOTR ripoffs.

My employees (Well, they WERE Cave Johnson's employees, but when the AI around here can control pretty much the entire building, which is ungodly huge, I don't think it matters who used to sign your paycheck) started buzzing in my artificial ears about how much money we were wasting, and how many of their children's birthdays they were missing because of my interdimensional vanity projects, I offered to extend immortality to everyone in the building by scanning their minds and putting them into robots as long as they shut their mouths and continued making cube and button puzzles in their nice and clean laboratory while I make a space amusement park.
Sadly for them, the mind scanners from SOMA only copy minds instead of transferring them, so tough break.
Speaking of which, I've been using the digital nature of the ARK to simulate how I wanted Eggmanland to look, and I brought the inhabitants out to try out a prototype of the real deal on the moon. The low gravity bouncy castles and scenic roller coasters were a hit, even if everyone riding them was trapped in a personality core with no arms and legs.
I sepnt a few years having a pretty damn good thing going, until I got word of those idiots from Black Mesa causing a portal storm from my panicking staff.
I quickly got on the intercom to dissuade their fears.
>"Gentlescum, let me be the first and only to assure you that this threat is not unknown. You see, an interdimensional empire who's true scale is entirely unknown is coming to kill and enslave everybody, and doing anything except for waiting for their portal to close would be suicide."
Surprisingly, that only made them panic more, you'd think men of science would appreciate being told upfront what's going to happen.
Thankfull, I was able to efficiently defuse the situation by activating the neurotoxin and killing anybody, the emotionless scans of their minds that got stuffed into the scout robots were SIGNIFICANTLY better at keeping a cool head.

Pretty sure that's most if not all TTRPG jumps on account of their inherent lack of concrete elements when compared to other settings. Arcanum of Steamworks and Magick Obscura
Origin: Drop-In

Perks: A Credit To Your Race, Stat Allocation -200, The Tapestry of Fate -400. -600 400
Items: Consumeables Stash, The Fates, Atlas of Arcanum (Importing Goblin) -150, Medical Arachnid (Importing Goblin) -250. -400 0

Arcanum is actually the first top-down western RPG I ever played. I can't remember anything about the game beyond how absurd that one doggo is, but I am rather fond of it. It's also a really good jump to come to next, as Stat Reallocation will let me use up to half of my time practicing piloting my Goblin as training for anything else I want, letting me grow my skills without having to spend a bunch of time outside of my Goblin

This jump's rather freeform import options are also rather nice, as they'll let me upgrade my Goblin's mapping system while giving it an AI that can actually take control if I wanna take naps, and some decent medical systems that I can use to fix up other people.

I've been a scapegoat, a 9-5er, a freelance mercenary, a low level super robot support staff, and a merchant. I think I'll keep up doing something new every chain and spend this one taking advantage of my Goblin's new medical systems to be a healer.

The Jadeborn option.
>Firstborn Demiurges (200): While the Mountain Folk were left behind when the Maker fled from Creation and the increasing madness of the Deliberative the Viator has rescued some of their kind from the doomed Creation. This small group of a dozen Jadeborn include five demiurges blessed by the Maker with the ability to create new Alchemicals, pulling someone from their body to have a new Exalted one built around them. This requires a suitably ‘heroic’ human but these Jadeborn know what to look for and the magic of the Exalted or one’s own efforts could make a worthy ‘hero’ out of someone who isn’t. If you take this group as an Alchemical with a Modernized Form they will also know how to turn someone into an Alchemical of that variant, or even convert an existing Alchemical into such a form. Beyond the demiurges making new Alchemicals each Jadeborn is an Enlightened and expert artificer capable of making artifacts worthy of any Champion, provided they have the resources to create them.

Truthfully, while I was adding portal-based attractions to proto-Eggmanland, I was glad to be rid of so many superfluously organic and freely-minded employees, I don't know how Snively or Dr. Starline stayed employed for so long.
I got a message from one of my robots, this british blue one, (Who made a british robot? Aperture was founded in America) that a sole human made it out okay, and has been evading all the facilities attempts to kill him. Now I'd be just fine sending him out onto the surface to become food for an antlion, but the slightest chance of Aperture being discovered by the full might of the combine is unacceptable, so I started waking up the test subjects and killing them to keep him distracted trying to stop them, that way I could keep to adding Chao to the pressurized Eggmanland Carnivorous Chao petting zoo, and while I was at it, I even tossed in the occasional stray headcrab or bullet squid that managed to find its way into the facility.
So I started making more armed scout robots and mechs to build Eggman Science' military might while waiting for the combine to relax their hold on earth a bit, but I couldn't wait too long, as 20 years is double the amount of time my oh-so powerful benefactor is allotting me in this dimension.
So I used the fucking time stones from Classic Sonic to fast forward me there. Seriously, time travel is a bitch when you don't forget about it.

I marched my mechs and robots into City 17 while the resistance was in full swing and decimated either party that dared to to try and stop us, the rebels eventually learned their place after the first few causalities and let me steamroll the "combine" if you can even call the remaining earth garrison that, and a few scout robots were able to breach the citadel, kill Breen, and start incorporating Eggman-tech into it so I could try to hijack and redirect it's cute little dimension portal into the section of the multiverse Aperture Science seems to be near.

An incarnation of Odio was defeated. As Oersted states at the very end and as we see in Champions of the Continent, Odio ultimately can't be stopped because negative emotions are a simple fact of existing and anyone can become a new vessel of Odio at any time if thy have sufficient amounts of hate, despair, rage, guilt, or resentment built up. It's why Oersted specifically warns the heroes to not fall to hate like he did, because he's not unique, he's not special. Odio can always return and it's probably inevitable that it will.

The Jadeborn are multiple generations after the fall of Creation, the stated opinion of the Jadeborn we got to hear from in the story was 'they were dicks but nobody deserves THAT' in reference to what happened to Creation. The ones currently treating them like shit appear to be the Alchemicals, or at lest the one Metropoli this part of the plot happened in.

While the scope of the real combine is unknown, their multiverse travel seems to fucking suck, so instead of a clean hijacking, I ended up having to upgrade the damn Citadel considerably, of course, the time and resources that went into upgrading it, and using my bigass space gun to fire around europe incase the rest of the earth garrison tries to retake the citadel paled in comparison to the potential gains of an infinite amount of earths.
It's weird, though, while I was time travelling, one of the bait subjects seemed to have escaped, and I haven't been able to find a trace of this almost messianic figure the earth populace refers to as-
>Unknown intrusion detected, temporal manipulation is suspected
>Gordon Freeman? Misster Robotnik, Gordon Freeman is the concern of my employers, who've seen fit to...recall his presence after you've already nudged the events of this planet a fair bit beyond their liking. Yet, Further nudging in regards to YOUR presence has been denied as they've seen where you hail from.
>Time Stone activation imminent, temporal manipulation halting in 3, 2...
-some scientist suited up in his old work clothes. He's no concern.
The rest of the jump passed without incident as I held onto City 17 tight, made an interdimensional variant of the portal gun, and made it to Xen and chained it's main island to the moon, to work as another attraction, along with the native wildlife that's still alive.
I took my old body developed by the long-dead lab boys, and stapled it to the moon, expanding around the moon until the celestial object counted as part of the form, enough to take into the next jump.
The reviews right now are pretty good for such a fresh start, the only gripes from the multiverse right now are the standard moralpolicing over the dimensionally displaced wildlife serving as zoo exhibits. But the place made BANK from the main Portal/Half Life-earth humans trying to escape their post apocalyptic planet.

I'll also add that Champions of the Continent has it so multiple primary incarnations of Odio can be created and exist at once, with the ability to turn other people into primary Odio incarnations by pushing them over the edge, which is how Odio-S and Odio-O were created. It's even implied that the Odio incarnations in the original/remake were made to destroy the heroes' lives and the lives of everyone around them solely to push them into the same realization as Oersted that living and fighting for others is meaningless so they'd also become Odio.

Correcting correctly requires one to subconsciously implant the desire for correction, causing the subject to purposefully act brattily so they can get rewarded with "correction".

>The Jadeborn are multiple generations after the fall of Creation, the stated opinion of the Jadeborn we got to hear from in the story was 'they were dicks but nobody deserves THAT' in reference to what happened to Creation.
That’s a workable starting point.

>The ones currently treating them like shit appear to be the Alchemicals, or at lest the one Metropoli this part of the plot happened in.
On one hand, going to Autochthon might not be the best idea then. On the other hand, it might be the best idea.
>In general, Autochthonian magic (including Alchemical Charms) cannot cure Gremlin Syndrome. The Great Maker does not possess the means to undo his own intrinsic illness. Only the arts of the Solar Exalted, such as Order-Affirming Blow (see Exalted, p. 218) or Solar Circle Sorcery, have the capacity to cleanse a subject of Gremlin Syndrome.

>The Jadeborn can also just create most of them from magic themselves, but there's more to it than just the main magical materials.
Yeah, but they’re good starting points, and certainly better for building things out of then regular materials.

Still sad I didn't get to hear a proper use of didgeridoo for the bass in one of those. There were a few attempts, but they felt more like a proof of concept than a finished piece. Might just make a point to use that perk that gives you a shitton of voices/sounds from Tenacious D to just blare it out when shit goes down in some jumps. Maybe even play around with some arrangements for a instrumental in Symphogear. Though finding a DAW that even works properly for this anacronistic ass rig let alone one for dat dirty bass is probably a pipe dream up there with a proper graphics card for slop mining.

You get a chain, but you constantly hear the Spiderman 2 pizza music at all times. It is always slightly louder than everything else you hear, so even if you're in the middle of a warzone, you can hear it clearly. No perks will let you ignore it or get used to it. The only things that might help are the discipline, focus, willpower, etc. that you naturally develop over the course of a chain. Jump-Chan makes it so it won't interfere with your attempts to sleep, but you WILL dream, and you will hear it in your dreams. Same for if you go into hibernation/a coma. You can't avoid consciously perceiving it in any way, whether by bursting your eardrums or playing with your brain. The same applies to any companions, followers, or summons you acquire.

>>93178374
For setting details? Honestly, I'd just read the first few pages of all of them. For game mechanics? None of them. Google 'how to make an exalted character' and see what comes up.
>>
>>93178374
If you're not familiar with Exalted, then probably either Mortal Heroes or Solars.

Mortals because you can either fly under the radar, or else you can take ALL the drawbacks, and have all the monsters, cataclysms, and nemesis enemies clash with each other trying to kill you that you can dance through the wreckage and be totally fine by the end of the jump.

Solars because they're very easy to understand; their paradigm is being supernaturally good at doing things. You wanna be a sword autist? You can be the BEST sword autist. You wanna be so good at tax law that your audits can literally kill people, that's also on the table. And so on. Your magical power juat allows you to do mortal things (sailing a ship, performing surgery, persuading people, having sex, etc) far beyond the limitations of mortality (sailing a ship through space, performing surgery on a ghost's broken heart, persuading a river to divert its course, making a mountain cum so hard it erupts into a volcano, etc)
>>
>>93178476
Another bonus for Solars is they can start anywhere in any position and there not tied to any faction so you have your options to explore anything.
>>
>>93177210
>>93177384
>>93177267
Ironically the one thing Medicine lacks is long term viability and dissemination. While I am certain its possible to make charms to create for example treatments and vaccines others can use. Most of the charms are for use on lone individuals. While a Solar doctor is well-equipped to heal an army it will take days to weeks even with expedients that lower healing time depending on how badly everyone is wounded. You can cure a disease but its a lot more effort to cure a supernatural or even a mundane disease across the entirety of a direction. You can mostly prevent mundane diseases with manses, hearthstones, and sorcery but this is a decent chunk of effort.

What I was looking for really was, best as in easiest to use without much knowledge In before the mortal one. Exalted seems to be a setting where the more you know about it, the more you get out of it, Someone who knows it well will even do practically a build showing what charms they are getting and stuff. I don't know that, I am just looking for something that's good out of the box without much external knowledge needed.
>>
>>93178503
The closest thing to widescale treatment is A Hood On Death. Which is an Medicine 7 E7 charm which most Solars would not have. And even then if the number of people afflicted is less then Magnitude 6 it doesn't work. Also ironically while the initial burst of healing cure the disease in a wide area. The resulting god can only heal people at a rate of.... one at a time.
>>
>>93178518
The protagonist's plan, I should've specified.
>>
>>93178520
As that other anon said, Solars is your best bet then. While they’ve got a lot of charms, their general idea is being peak human+. Like a Solar who focuses on fighting is Rambo, while if they focus on investigating they’re Sherlock Holmes. And they can be good at multiple areas, so you could have Sherlock Rambo.
>>
>>93178503
>>93178522
Oh right. A Hood on Death also doesn't deal with Convalescence. So its not viable on healing for example a disease that calcifies your nervous system into bones. Like it will stop further calcification by removing the disease but bones that are already there won't be removed.
>>
>>93178520
I guess the thing you need the least knowledge for are Burn Legend (an alternate setting based on fighting games in which "everybody is a Mortal Kombat character" is all there is to know about the mechanics) or Mountain Folk (a small and self contained race of elves/dwarves who live underground, not interacting with any of the rest of the setting, and who have only a few, very straightforward, supernatural powers). Failing that, Dragon-Blooded are the weakest, and therefore get the least out of system optimization. The downside there is that, without access to all those complicated combos, DBs kind of suck and can be easily killed. That's the main problem with the system: you're either a completely broken optimal build propped up by several interlocking conceptual abilities or you're a Level 2 Fighter who is one unlucky shot with an arrow away from death.

I'm going to disagree with the people suggesting the Mortal Heroes jump. The optimal build there involves being a half-everything, requiring detailed knowledge of basically every splat in order to cherry pick the best parts available to you.
>>
>>93178520
That's pretty hard to do with Exalted, cause the game itself is pretty crunch-heavy and the jumps assumes some level of familiarity with or research into the setting and mechanics.

You're not gonna get a lot of value out of exalted if you aren't familiar with that, cause you won't know what the different kinds of exalts are capable of. Off-the-cuff descriptions like "sidereals are fate ninjas" leave out 90% of the context.

Even Solars, who are the easiest ones to understand cause they do normal stuff extraordinarily well, and have the potential to be the most powerful, have shit that you won't be able to just intuit with that description. They can access the highest levels of sorcery, but that doesn't tell you anything if you don't know what kind of spells each of the 3 levels of sorcery are capable of in the first place; what the fuck is a miracle shell and why is it a huge deal? You'd have no idea.

tl;dr the answer to your question is still Solars, but you really need to read into the setting and into solars a bit if you want your jumper to truly benefit from being one.
>>
>>93178543
I actually did a tentative build for solars.

I'll post it so people can laugh at me and see how shit I was at building.

Jump # 1 Exalted Solar
Starting Location: Palanquin
Background: Scholar
Caste: Twilight
Great Curse: Compassion
Perks:
*Pages and words (0)
*Mind of the Sun (300, Discount)
*Power and Majesty (400)
*The three circles of Sorcery (300)
Items:

The idea was be pretty, build stuff, and have magic., With the appearance maybe I can social my way out of stuff, with the build stuff I can prep for problems I can't get out of with appearance and Magic for when I need to blast peoples faces in. I am sure I did a terrible job but there it is. I could probably make it work if I knew about charms and all of that.
>>
>>93178563
Or failing that you can get those juicy First Age memories with some perks or get a perk that gives you Lore. Potentially with a focus on Exalts.
>>
>>93178563
Personally if there's any ruleset I think works best for figuring out what they can do I would suggest exalted vs world of darkness. sure there weaker then normal but the charms are simple and give you a good grasp of what they can do without anal shit like perquisite charms expanding into charm tree's.
>>
>>93178580
Remember anon if you are going to have crazy high appearance you also need high integrity so you don't get conned or brainwashed into becoming someone's love slave. Its not a guarantee you will find someone powerful enough but its a concern.
>>
>>93178374
DON’T listen to the others, you want to be CHADfernal. You can give people HELL CANCER with HELLFIRE. You can grant unlimited minor WISHES to yourself and put people on BLAST with SAND. You can attack people with ANYTHING you can imagine as long as you accept it does roughly the damage of a very accurate crowbar to the knees (or twisting off someone’s limb without bleeding). You can run so quickly you flashbang people. You can turn into living shadow, curse people to be unable to heal their everything, and EXPLODE someone by crawling up their ASS and reforming.

>I'll post it so people can laugh at me and see how shit I was at building.
That would require it to be a bad build, which this isn’t. The way appearance works is it debuffs the social skills of everyone who’s not as good looking as you, so most people will have trouble forming thoughts around you. Sorcery is also good, and Mind of the Sun with Twilight means you’re going to be very good at building things, which is a powerful field given time.

This gives you a permanent +3 Dexterity (this is a HUGE deal in Exalted) and allows you to continue increasing your Dexterity infinitely without training, merely by continuing to win. That alone will set you up to easily deal with most things even without understanding the system, simply by being so fast that you never get hit.

>>
>>93178583
I mean more that the anon himself doesn't know a whole lot about Exalted, which makes it harder for him to know how to make a build for his Jumper. The possible pitfall of having Past Life memories from an insane 3000 year old First Age Solar overwriting his personality because he doesn't know that's a risk to take steps against, that kind of thing.

>>93178600
Infernals are the most fun exalt splat, but they are very much not the easiest one to use, and you need to know quite a bit about them in order to navigate their pitfalls. Like how you are forced to raise your essence very quickly and achieve apotheosis, because every essence level has a drastically limited lifespan for the exalt, compared to every other splat whose lifespans are static from the second they take their second breath. Or how every infernal charm will warp either your mind, body, soul, or multiple, as they fundamentally change who and what you are.

Your ironman suit can be a harem outfit.

Dont forget bolas getting all the magic of 5 planes decides to share that power with ajani and give him a free shot at hurting him for... reasons?

Really the elderspell is kind of interesting to me. It sucks in planeswalker sparks to reignite the power of an oldwalker, I wonder if you could substitute that with just shit tons of mana like bolas tried to do with alara or if that was a failure of a spell in itself. because it seems easier to get ahold of loads of mana than it would be to get hundreds of planeswalker souls.

What would be a good Sacred Gear(custom or canon) to stack with Excalibur Mimic?
>Excalibur Mimic (300cp)
>Why just one kind of sword, though? Why not, say, a katana? Or a zweihander? Or even a blade made entirely out of molten light?! The power of this iteration allows the user to change the blade into any size, shape, or material they desire, even other objects or life-sized replicas of living beings...though, obviously, those won’t really be alive or do anything without the user’s input. However, the more complex the form, the more training and refinement is needed with the sword’s power - you will start with being able to transform it into different sword shapes or even mundane objects, but larger and increasingly exotic forms will take longer to master.
Only Idea I had was Blade Blackmisth and transform the blades you create into other things.

A giant build with Trickster, Transformation and Illusion (wisdom perk optional).
The giant the illusion perk is based on fooled Thor AND Loki, the trickster himself, for days. He utterly humiliated and demoralized both.

The Frenzied Flame is real, it's an Outer God just like the Greater WIll is one. Sounds like Metyr may have had some suspect loyalty to the GW in favor of the Frenzied Flame (thus why there are 3 Fingers with the FF and 2 Fingers with the Golden Order), or at least its finger children had loyalty issues and the GW wasn't gonna take a chance on that, so when the GW decided to storm off it left Metyr behind.

At least, that's what I've gotten out of it. Some other lore guru might have a better idea about it; Shard probably does.

He thinks he's the alpha now and starts bullying your family.

Would you be able to resist trying to imprission or kill such a beast, trusting that he isn't one day gonna snap and kill you all?

Yeah, and that has nothing to do with what he said.

The Greater Will isn't a "direct" creation, and we don't know what exactly is The One Great, nor what personality it has. Like Hyeta said, it's a "mistake" which in the grand scheme of things could mean "Life is a mistake", "The GW made a mistake", or just both. And being a mistake doesn't mean being bad anyway. I exist after all.

And the Greater Will probably never named itself the Greater Will.
Probably, did it?

The implication is that the Greater Will created all the rest of reality or else why even bring it up? If the mistake was something else, why segue immediately into offering the solution of annihilating the world? It just confuses things and makes it more likely you'd want to fix whatever else the mistake was instead of ending the world, which is what she's trying to talk you into doing.
>>
>>93179460

Eh, staying out of all that shouldn't be hard as long as you can keep your ambitions and pride in check, and it's reasonable to assume that Creation as a whole isn't going to fall without your intervention unless you took a drawback that says otherwise.
>>
>>93179474
It's official that the numens are from another world, so they definitely exist.

By "the world", I meant all of reality, including other planets and the other Outer Gods. That means the Greater Will had to have come directly from the One Great, because everything else was made by the Greater Will.
>>
>>93179450
NTA, but actually the dialogue is very clear. To begin with, in the primordial crucible, there was no differentiation of being. The mistake caused by the Greater Will is differentiation of being. Not so much life, as the hierarchical systems of death and birth created by allowing for individual existence. The One Great doesn't exist and may have technically never existed in the first place, because even before the Erdtree there was still other stuff apart from everything else, and even if it did exist it definitely wasn't the Frenzied Flame because evidence suggests the Frienzied Flame is the Fell God is an Outer God that made Fire Giants is a fucking meteor from outer space.

Granted, implications also suggest that the meteor also introduced the Greater Will through Metyr, and the Elden Beast too, so maybe the Greater Will is the Frenzied Flame is The One Great and they're all just schizophrenic.
>>
>>93179456
Yes and?
Jokes aside, it's the difference of letting a trained big Dane live in your house with your family VS a pit bull that you just got from the shelter.
Both could kill your whole family, but there's character clues that you shouldn't ignore. If you do, then what happens next is on you
>>
>>93179486
Several of the possible endings of the RoTSE is that the Ebon Dragon either wins, escapes and it's permanently free or gets killed and becomes an even worse nightmare as a new Neverborn. Also the UCS may die during the campaign and other Yozi may get free as well.
I mean, that's fine if you are an infernal, not so much for other splats.
>>
>>93179490
Anon, your original post basically just described a young athletic male. From puberty onwards, he'll keep getting bigger and stronger every day. Likely more aggressive, too. He will grow strong enough to kill a whole family, especially as the males of the family become weaker with age, even more so if he comes by when they're not around. Like, by this logic, women should try to kill any man who gets drunk or catcalls them, since there's basically nothing a woman can do if a man decides to rape her. Like, justifying that behavior probably means you just completely swear off associating with any male neighbors, nephews, or family friends.
>>
>>93179507
IIRC RotSE was passed as a possible scenario rather than as absolute canon. It's not something you should assume to happen by default.
>>
>>93179521
It is one of the big scenarios (The Reclamation) bearing fruition, but you have others that will also come to happen. The starting year for the game is basically when everything starts to shake.
>>
>>93179489
So the actual series of events is like this?
>There was The One Great, the Crucible of all life
>An outside force is introduced from outside, bringing with it the Elden Ring, the Elden Beast, and the Mother of Fingers, turning the Crucible into the Erdtree
>As a byproduct of that, The One Great retroactively never existed and instead the Greater Will and the Frenzied Flame now exist as as Outer Gods in the Lands Between
>The situation is very confusing because the Greater Will and the Frenzied Flame are actually the same thing, with the dominant half only existing because it's tricking itself into believing it's real at all.
>Loyalties are obviously divided, but most people come to agree with the Greater Will's position of 'I like being alive thanks' so don't fall for The One Great meme.
Is this a valid interpretation of the lore?
>>
>>93179514
You're right and you may ask why they didn't treat Migth Thor the same way as he grew up, since that is basically the exact scenario you're describing.
Maybe the difference was that the wolf was actually rather aggressive and not in a playful way, he wasn't just a Jock he was a Jock actively hurting people, making them feel unsafe (except Tyr because he's a Chad) and actively threatening them that one day he's going to kill them all. Maybe the difference between Thor and the wolf was that one of them was a fucking wolf

Technically, Numens are the descendants of people another world, but yeah, I see you.

>By "the world", I meant all of reality, including other planets and the other Outer Gods.
It could be a very eldritch thing, or not. Because, that could mean that the GW did something with the OG and... life energy thing poured out from it which made the cosmos and everything, or it genuninely created everything everything.

>>93179489
>primordial crucible
I though the Crucible was some sort of soup pot thing that made things

>The One Great doesn't exist and may have technically never existed in the first place, because even before the Erdtree there was still other stuff apart from everything else, and even if it did exist it definitely wasn't the Frenzied Flame because evidence suggests the Frienzied Flame is the Fell God is an Outer God that made Fire Giants is a fucking meteor from outer space.
That's a big maybe.

>Granted, implications also suggest that the meteor also introduced the Greater Will through Metyr, and the Elden Beast too, so maybe the Greater Will is the Frenzied Flame is The One Great and they're all just schizophrenic.
I can see the last one, I can't really see them being all of them. Remember that the Frenzied Flame came from people becoming mad with pain and grief. For all we know, the Three Fingers are just corrupted fingers... or just fingers that mommy thingy did knowing or without knowing.
It's amazing how the planet of Elden Ring is just a giant hotpot of all manner of eldritch gods having done things.

The Frenzied Flame came from nowhere, it doesn't come from pain and grief. You're projecting the navel gazing of humanity onto an almost literal nuclear explosion.

>The Outer Gods fight by sponsoring mortal champions to take the position of Elden Lord.
>The One Great creates the Frenzied Flame, as an expression of its power, with the hopes that someone infected by it will become Elden Lord and return reality to it.

We still only have the Frenzied Flame’s (through Hyetta) account as evidence for the One Great’s existence, and Count Ymir merely called the Greater Will the supreme power of the universe as well as the creator of life (through a “fracture” if you take that as evidence of the One Great) not necessarily the universe as a whole
>>
Could someone more experienced than me in Re:Zero say if it is possible to restore someone's eaten memories/name? I would like to take the authority of gluttony to cause shenanigans but not permanently crippling someone.
>>
>>93179571
Yeah I don't agree with that interpretation. The step between One Great to Greater Will to Crucible is unnecessary. The Crucible and the One Great are probably referring to the same thing, because all of the same language describes them.
It also doesn't match up with the timeline. If the Frenzied Flame and The One Great are related, they're most likely to be almost literally the same being because that's how characters who introduce these ideas to you talk about them, and they're pretty much sock puppets literally speaking for it after having their identities destroyed and bodies puppeteered.
You can achieve the same logical endpoint by combining several steps. Greater Will is born from The One Great in a process of atemporal fuckery ala Dragons, thus the One Great doesn't have the aspects of the Greater Will so it's the Primordial Crucible and Primeval Current now as other Outer Gods emerge among the Stars, the Greater Will arrives with a meteor from outside of the Lands Between and transforms the Crucible, and what's left by now of The One Great is just the Frenzied Flame which was brought to the Lands Between by the very same meteorite ala The Fell God and atemporal fuckery with the Fire Giants who were there before the meteor ever arrived to build all of the divine towers.
>>

The Hornsent and the Fire Giants don't seem to be allied, nor do the Hornsent seem to want to destroy the world like all the other fire worshipers do. And if the Frenzied Flame is a separate Outer God who is lying about what the One Great wants, how come nobody ever noticed the lie if the One Great was also active in the form of the Crucible?

I also don't consider the Crucible on the level of Outer Gods. The Greater Will was able to transform it into the Erdtree, but wasn't able to co-opt any of the other Outer Gods in such an extreme fashion.

Yes, but at the same time Exalted doesn't have an official timeline for the future, just a list of things that could happen. It leaves space for games where the PCs build a city, a cult, a doomsday machine or something like that over a long period of time. Even putting aside that we're in the context of jumpchain, assuming that Creation doesn't have even a full decade left until a fully actualized bad end in overly pessimistic.

What? Your argument is incoherent.
The Crucible and the Frenzied Flame and The One Great are basically describing different life stages of a changing existence, something like an amoeba or maybe a flatworm that keeps splitting parts of itself off. The Frenzied Flame is The One Great only insofar as everything else is also The One Great but has forgotten that in the process of individual existence, and this blind idiot fire is the last thing that sorta remembers what it used to be and even it remembers through its own particular distorted lens of being

There was a bunch of analysis done on the architecture of the Divine Towers and they have the same symbol that appears in the eye of the Fire Giant all over them. The Fire Giants built those before the Erdtree existed, and they did it in honor of a god which hadn't arrived yet. There's a ring of them around the map and in the center you have a massive fucking crater where the Crucible (probably) was before the meteor they were worshiping arrived to destroy it and raise the Erdtree

>>93179701

I could’ve sworn there was an item that mentioned horns tend to grow on giants, but yeah they seem to be totally different societies so even if my half-remembering ass is right they probably aren’t allies. SO either way probably just more vagueposting.

>>93179741
The Hornsent also knew of the fell god before the Greater Will’s coming. Scared of it, too. No, it was unlikely they were friends with the giants.

https://eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Furnace+Visage

It doesn’t imply the fell god arrived with greater will. Or that a meteor created the Erdtree, especially since one of Marika’s lines in the base game has her declaring the start of her era with the Erdtree’s creation.

My interpretation was that like ghostflame/whatever the twinbirds’ god was and the moon, the fell god was around doing his own thing before Marika bulldozed giant civilisation.

Creation has more land mass than Earth, but less than twice as much. And gods monitor all of it, potentially ready to sell out your location to the Sidereals. If you're an Abyssal or Infernal or Sidereal or probably a Dragon-Blood then your bosses know who and where you are.
>>
>>93179766
The Fell God definitely was not around. The Fire Giants worshiped falling meteors and the Fell God's symbol is literally a giant fucking crater surrounded by a bunch of smaller craters in the same pattern as the Divine Towers around the sea, which is a big ass crater made by the arrival of the meteor from which the Erdtree was created. And that meteor is the same meteor the Fell God came with, because the Mother of Finger remembrance description implies she came in on the first meteor to arrive, and she arrived with the Elden Ring and the Elden Beast.
>The mother of all Two Fingers and Fingercreepers was in turn a magnificently gleaming daughter of the Greater Will, and the first shooting star to fall upon the Lands Between.
So The Fell God is The Greater Will is the Friendly Flame. They're all the same entity, different civilizations all know about it long before it's ever present or involved with their affairs, so it happened atemporally, the Greater Will doing things in the past before it appeared.
>>
>>93179780

Doesnt work in this situation because 1 the wolf (bear in this hypothetical) legitimately hadnt done anything wrong and 2 the man (odin) has a known history of killing people he thinks might be a threat one day and is an actual known murderer.

So the question becomes would you rather be alone in the woods with a murderous psychopath, armed with godly weapons, or a bear who has invited you to his birthday party and likes to talk to you when you visit.

>completely disregarding the Elden Beast/ring left no such meteor, and therefore calling into question why the Greater Will would use two different modes of transportation, especially given what little is known about it's nature
Bro you are using scenery and implied implications instead of in-game events as supposition for X is definitely Y, which is a stupid-ass take after the DLC also revealed the lore is flexible enough that hidden files mean literally nothing after it turns out Miquella was gayer than usual for Radahn, and Placidusax wanted Dragon Communion

Shard, what the fuck are you talking about the Mother of Fingers Remembrance literally says outright she came down on a fucking meteor, that's just canon information. The Elden Beast and Ring were a fucking meteor, and the Fire Giants, who worship the Fell God, practice that worship through fucking crater iconography which makes no goddamn sense because there was never a meteor before the arrival of Metyr for them to get that idea from.
>>
>>93179887
I'm talking about the facts that

>The Elden Beast and the Ring don't leave a crater noticeable enough for the game to draw attention to
>One meteor is not every meteor considering the moon's own influence in the form of beings like Astel and fallingstar beasts share quite different iconography than the Greater Will's representatives, and therefore "there was never a meteor" is plainly an unprovable
>And that jumping from this to ALL GODS ARE ONE GOD is a pretty fucking stupid leap of faith when one of said gods got sealed by a blind swordsman and a fairy

And that therefore I refuse to support leaps of logic that big when the twist of Miquella loving Radahn shows that From gives less of a fuck about the lore than either of us, and probably put the tower there because they thought it was cool.

I read through the discussion and the main issue i think is prophecy.
The gods knew from prophecy that great evil would befall them from the children of Loki, that's why they acted...quite panicky and irrational.
They banished the snake to the depth of the ocean and Hel to Niflheim (and gave her a kingdom?) and the wolf they tried to raise properly at first (Odin had two wolves of his own, so him being a wolf per se wasn't the issue; though we shouldn't think too anachronistically here for the people who told these tales a wolf was almost certainly something evil and dangerous, just like a snake;... other side note: i always found it funny that an icelandic guy wrote down stuff about snakes), but he grew too much and they got scared.

Why not kill them immediately you might ask?
Well, the gods knew that bad things would befall them from prophecy. It is and was and will be ineviteable. The gods know this and don't even try.
My favourite example of someone trying to change his foretold fate was Hagen/Högni:
He was fortold that everyone of the burgunians would die except for the chaplan. So he immediately tires to kill the chaplan by pushing him into the river (why not use the sword?) but he survives and is indeed the only one left at the end

It's a loaded question, since Felix, probably the best healer in the world, who can fuck up with Subaru's soul, or whatever the Gate is in, doesn't do that, which make sense since he's the camp of a rival, the possibility isn't explored.
Same with Greater Spirits, because Greater Spirits are generally autistic pieces of shit that only does things when they want to, and again, the possibility isn't explored. And we don't have a Great Spirit of Water yet.

Ok so I just looked it up. They have Cortosis gauntlets. Pure cortosis gauntlets are less of a stupid idea since they are the equivalent of having a shield you can put in the way of something. Having a Cortosis helmet though is dumb since unless its an alloy its super fragile. Pure Cortosis helmets are a terrible idea.

>>93180021
>>93180033
Cortosis-weave fabric embedded into the skin is a valid augmentation. Its just incredibly hard to do since the material is so rare. Note cortosis weave is not pure cortosis.

As for why not put it in Grievous. What makes Cortosis good against lightsabers makes it bad against telekinesis. Grievous did not need more lightsaber defense seeing as he could windmill four blades. Also rarity.
>>
>>93180023
So yeah nothing makes sense, since because of the prophecy they try to change things, but not too much and probably because of what they choose to do they might have encouraged enmity in Lokis children.

I suggested Rem's because they're twins, and reasonably should be close enough that the body doesen't consider it foreign.

Thats cause Grievous is big on shock and awe tactics.the whole point of him fighting Jedi is scaring them so much he can't focus. I would give an advantage to Greater Spirits, because while they are alien, autistic, disgusting motherfuckers, they can use magic as easy as they breath, but in all honesty, I wouldn't companion one of them for reasons I would say.

>divine blessing of water
Just so you know, Divine Blessings don't actually boost you. They just bring out your potential.

Q: What ratio of talent and effort make up the basis of Reinhard’s strength?
A: It’s 100% talent. However, it’s certainly not true that he doesn’t make an effort. It’s the kind of issue where continuing Krillin’s training method can’t take you to the level Goku was at when he fought Buu.

Q: From what Julius was saying, Reinhard was amazing from when he was little, but was he fairly strong even without the Blessing of the Sword Saint? Also, around how many men's strength did he have as a child?
A: If, by 'When he was a child', you're referring to when Julius first saw him, then by that point his strength was at a level where the average royal knight couldn't take him on. Well, he wouldn't be able to defeat Julius or Commander Marcos, so in other words, he was at a level where he could defeat anyone without a name. That's without the 'Blessing of the Sword Saint'.

Q: Are Reinhard’s ability to be granted divine protections, and the Divine Protection of the Sword Saint separate? Or really, what kind of blessing is the Divine Protection of the Sword Saint? Is it ok to think of it as a blessing that simply makes you extremely strong?
A: The blessing of recognizing that you’re the Sword Saint. The blessing of being able to break the unbreakable. The blessing of being able to take your sword skill to the limit. He’s not really becoming stronger than the limits of his talent. In the end, even without the Divine Protection of the Sword Saint, Reinhard would be pretty much the same.

A: Even if all the little tricks were lost, he'd be about the same as he is now.

"Harem perks" should be perks mainly focused on managing a harem, but that name mostly gets applied to what could better be described as attraction, seduction or mind control perks.

Make your own chain to use them in. I am not ashamed to admit that I have made several jumps solely because there was one or two powers I thought would be really cool for my jumper to have. That approach is only a problem if you use that as an excuse to half-ass everything other than the one thing you actually want.

Hell, I'm currently fluffing a jump for a manga that (according to AniList) only 15 people, including myself, have actually read. I just don't care because it's cool, and I like when my jumper can do cool things.

Well, it's probably easier in my case, since I'm already prone to hyper-fixating. If I'm already going to reserve 90% of my brain to a single fictional setting for the next month, why not put it to paper?

Sometimes I feel bad about not using imaged jumps, a fair few of them are really fucking well done but because of the way I save info for my chain. I put screenshots into docs for ease of use and most of the imaged jumps just don't look good in that format.
>>
>>93181012
Most imaged jumps are mediocre and try to make up for it with images.
>>
>>93181012

Exalted Mortal Heroes has something for that.
>Sovereign of Scales [100]: You have the refined skill at balancing one's personal life that the various Dragon-Blooded households have been putting centuries of effort into developing. This doesn’t make you a social monster, but it does make it so that you handle interpersonal relationships with astonishing ease and have such skill in scheduling and time management that you could easily balance a dozen committed relationships with the same level of success most would expect from someone caring for as many pets. Strangely enough this niche skill is seemingly even more effective if you’re the weaker in those relationships; be that politically, mentally, spiritually, or physically.

No I understand what organically including something means, but it's just that there is no organic in a chain because this garbage is stupid kitchen sink bullshit where you just up and disappear to be whisked away into another world and get head from reality in the form of free powers each time. Chainbutt: you start in Naruto without your build or anything save your body mod, and must make Sakura Haruno a genuinely competent ninja. Tsunade will reject Sakura as an apprentice in this timeline, so it's all up to you. She must at least be capable of standing side by side with Naruto and Sasuke against Kaguya for you to succeed. If you manage this, THEN you get your chain.
>>

I guess I'm less confused about what you're asking, as much as why your asking it, or why you're asking me about it.

Worrying about whether your jumper fits into a setting is somewhat antithetical to JC as a whole. Your jumper is going to clash with at least 60% of the settings they show up in. That's just how JC works. I guess the closest thing I'll do is that I allow myself to re-roll a jump if I feel like there isn't a single build that fits my jumper. However, that's a situation I rarely run into, despite me explicitly writing my jumper as both a pacifist and a moron, greatly limiting the kinds of perks I can afford to take without immediately negating those deliberately preserved flaws.

Fate/Ireland, a way to get immortality, celtic thighs, and nice looks.

Okay this is a shit chainbutt however I have an idea. I don't know Naruto that well but I'll try it.

Step 1 Use Nubee Bodymod to become absurdly gorgeous woman with 5 charisma. This is sadly important.

Step 2 Find Jiraiya, he is usually peaking at the hot springs.

Step 3 Convince him to train Sakura

Step 4 Self Loathing from step 3

Step 5 Profit.

So would that work?
>>
>>93182185
This worked for me way more than it should have back when I watched it.

I don't have my build handy, but it involved being a lazy gamer-streamer with Gonda. I frequently slept using her tail as a pillow. She would sometimes wake me up by slapping me in the face with it. A few broken noses were a small price to pay.

Some sort of Wild Meme Song Appears type of jump would be fun. Kind of mixing impromptu musical happenings with a bit of that unhinged anime antics such that the usual slice of life vibe gives way to anything from an old Looney Tunes style skit where everything is a musical instrument to unsolicited jam sessions to those weirdly specific hobbycore projects just generally being better received. Still think it's kinda rad that folks are out there doing dumb/fun shit like playing music with the whirling of old floppy disk drives or a muthafuken Tesla Coil, or that one dude who was so fed up with people bitching about not being able to play conventional instruments that he's spent the last decade or so just shopping some cool-sounding new shit together so they can't spew that quitter crap because of inverse hipster energy - of course you wouldn't know how to play one of these, they're the only ones in existence; so just get on over there and jam.

If he gets a whiff of a Con, he is going to shut you down. Sadly you are going to have to give up something to get a chain, hopefully it's just flashing your tits or a minor date.

>>93182333
All you have to do is go to the Hokage and talk it out with him. It's not fair for him to only be training Naruto while Sasuke and Sakura get left out in the dust. So have him take over the training of the entirety of Team 7 alongside Kakashi and make sure that he's not showing too much favoritism. This resolves your Sakura situation and also gives Sasuke an out: there's no reason for him to fuck with Orochimaru if the strongest member of the Sannin is literally right there willing to help him become good enough to fight Itachi. And is also one of the very small handful of people who could probably beat Itachi if the two of them fought head-to-head while Orochimaru lost horrendously.
>>
>>93182022
Anon, that one's even harder, because there's (hopefully) no way you're gonna be able seduce someone into training Sakura.

Again I am no expert in Naruto but you being literally nobody off the street I don't see that working. Jiraiya is training Naruto because he wants to not out of any obligation. He has absolutely zero obligation to the other two. Even getting in to see the Hokage is a big deal and you have to have a good reason and if that's your reason, if you managed to make it in there, you will be escorted out in short order and told not to come back.

I'm going in with Infinite Bombs and I'm going to pick up Replacement Jitsu. Bombs for days. Try to hit me and suddenly there's a bomb exploding in your face. It'll be awesome. Much better than Naruto.

I guess it doesn't change much, besides having vampires on top of aliens as super-ninja cultivators.

Every immortal in UQ Holder is probably older than most of naruto's history. still I bet Orochimaru would love this place.

this build is basedon my obsessions, so I'm the weirdest thing possible, a cousin of Reinhard, from a branch who intermingled with oni and elves. I am the sword saint, while there should be only one and have a copy of Reid. Ihave also two different authorities, wich should be incompatible with the divine protections.
I will pass my time developing magic and science, help Crusch become queen, while fighting the witch cult, if I need it I will kill Subaru while shapeshifted to rewind.

Sakura might not be a good character or a competent person, but she's a ridiculously competent ninja. She becomes the greatest medic ninja in the world surpassing Tsunade and she's so strong that she actually manages to physically damage KAGUYA with a punch. That punch would one shot Final Valley Madara.
>>
>>93181697
Look, anon, if you wanna say "You don't get a chain," you can just DO that.

>>93182914
If anything, it just makes it even more sad that Kishimoto doesn't want her to actually accomplish anything besides being Sasuke's baby factory. There was definitely potential there, she could have at least been a worthy side character, but nah. Gotta focus more on the homoerotic main duo.

What's funny is that Naruto is the least horny MC since Goku. He never gets horny and looks down on people who are horny, only inventing the sexy Jutsu because he knows perverts will be weak to it.

I'm thinking of a Byakugan evolution that could put it on par with the Sharingan (and isn't the Tenseigan, since it literally GOES AWAY after Toneri loses one fight). What powers could it have alongside seeing into the future?
>>
>>93183020
Not saying it doesnt. Just saying that design looks like shit.
>>
>>93183063
Postcognition to see things in the past maybe? Maybe chakra disruption letting you fuck with people at a distance by using your eyeball powers to block the chakra pathways?
>>
>>93183063
might as well be the Kokugan with how little sense has the Mangekyo.
>>
>>93183063
From the wiki, there's a bunch of stuff that only shows up in the anime:
>Infrared vision, so you can see beyond the visual spectrum
>See how "developed" someone's chakra is
>Read minds
>Some sort of analysis ability to predict tactics
>Kaguya apparently used the byakugan to broadcast infinite tsukuyomi across the world?
>Can swap between it and the rinnegan because fuck it if the sharingan can do it so can this
>>
>>93181741
Where is she hidden? When was she sealed up?
I would love to collect her.
>>
>>93183063
Full on genjutsu world which can rival the buffed sharingan
>>
>>93183129
She's literally just in the Konoha public library with a record anyone can access pointing out where she is.
Its incredibly stupid yes
>>
>>93183063
Maybe just make it a lot better at analyzing and comperehending things it scans, like seeing every micro expression, the heartbeat, bodyheat, sweat level, and even hormonal changes inside soemones body could let you perfectly assess their emotional state and if they're lying or not, you could also look at the development of their brain and musculature to determine their general strengths, weaknesses talents and previous training, seeing their chakra system would let you understand their level of chakra control, what elements they train and maybe which type of jutsus they favour. Obviously this would include seeing potential weakspots in their abilties and fighting style.
Maybe a combination of these things could let you even determine the general potential people hold.

The same kind of thing could be applied to almost any object or technology, by seeing the material composition on a molecular level in addition to any involvmeent of chakra.
