I usually try the lines that I see during the live streams for big tournaments.

check antiques / pawn shops for commie-era bakelite chess sets, many should still be in circulation

They finally decided the place and dates for the World Championship. Singapore is UTC+8 so they'll probably play in the late afternoon there.

i'm trying to find top level games with rare move

for en passant which is a rare move, i found one, dubov vs karjakin, dubov win

what are some top level games (played between two high ranked GM) with pawn promotion and do not end with a draw

You can download a database, or more simply the PGN files for tournaments, and ctrl+F the notations of moves, like this guy did:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iDnW0WiCqNc

for example you can get the PGN for the last Candidates from here:
https://theweekinchess.com/a-year-of-pgn-game-files
open it with an office program and search the = used for promotions.

How prevalent is cheating online? I've been playing anonymous games and I'm just getting completely destroyed by strings of only moves in complex positions. It's just not fun.

imho no more than 5%

I can only speak for playing on Lichess. Three years ago, they would detect a cheater playing against me frequently. Now, magically out of 1240 games, they've only detected 3? Wow, all the cheaters quit! Magic. Also, magically now myself and most of the other players I look at from before the pandemic are also magically lower in rating. Makes one think. Still, what can you do? Where else are you going to play online? I think cheating is way more common that people realize. I think the kids are just smarter about how they do it. It's mostly kids cheating. They probably don't even realize they are cheating by looking up moves. In general, cheaters aren't known for their insight.

Cheating at internet chess is particularly pathetic. Normally even when you lose you can have a fun and insightful game; if you're letting a computer do the work idk what you get out of even a victory.
