>>96960275Thank you! Here's an even older picture that shows the copters better. The 2 metal ones are from Black Tree design. The resin ones are prints from highland miniatures. I have 3 more gyros to paint...The 7th ed metal one (not looking forward to build it) 2 ornythipters from RPE (lovely models) and then I'd like to get/build some more hot air balloon and dirigibles. After I'm done with my current backlog.
Here's my most recent Gloomspite army pic. I've added another gargantuan saying to sub in as kragnos and some old world night goblins, but that's the only additions that weren't done at the time.

>>96961073The Ironjawz are traditional, just a lot of layering. There's some "slapchop" for zenithal in some of the newer models, but that's just zenithal for thin traditional model acrylic, not speedpaints.The Stormcast are mostly traditional, but only because I used a hell of a lot of drybrush. The depth of them closeup is not the same as the other three armies.The Maggotkin are slapchop because you can never really fuck up Nurgle models, and the ghosts are just speedpaint and washes. As for the centerpiece aspect, I loved centerpiece models in WHFB but they were usually a disadvantage to run unless they had a 2++ ward save or something, so I had all these cool dragons that were an active liability to run. In AOS, they aren't as big a risk to take so I went in full balls deep in having centerpieces.

It just take some constance. You get a lot done if you can dedicate even just 2-3 hours a week but you do it every week.
