It's pretty interesting that the US government is monitoring the war and has two contingencies to destroy everything (one is an internal detonation of the grail taking the entire city out, another is dropping magic nukes on the city). But the plot goes full autism mode and is peak Nasuverse writing. Turns out one of the characters is inhabited by a spirit that is basically stronger than most heroic spirits that has motivations to become the new replacement for humanity and when that character gets killed by the US government the spirit takes over his body and goes on a rampage... or something. It's definitely too autistic for me to drop into but I wouldn't mind a few similar elements. Ultimately I'll pass, but that was a fun wikiwalk.
