Full art of the snowcat looks amazing. I can't believe this is the first time the Rangers are encountering snow, especially in the Rockies. Can't wait to receive this expansion.
Rangers is just a worse Arkham which was just a worse LotRi just hate skill tests and want LotR sequel that isn't capeshit
>>97764367Why did they unban cards that aren't unbanned until after they rotate anyways? Are standard and eternal sharing a banlist?
>>97765908Now post the list for the only country that matters.
>>97764838That looks really nice. Is there anywhere to purchase singles?
>>97764782What the hell happened to you OP?you used to be good at this
>>97765908>#5- Lorcana Whooo! Dead center!
>>97766076Aww, that's swell of you to say anon, but Canada doesn't HAVE a separate list.
>>97766515They meant Japan.
>>97766076>>97766527Oh, you're nonwhite? How sad for you.
>>97765908pretty impressed that SWU and FAB have managed to hang on there. they both beat the bets by decent margins.
>>97766539Oh, you're new around here.
>>97766527I know what they meant anon. It's fun to derail the weebs.
I wish I could make my waifu real so she can play card games with me
>>97767338>the monkey's paw curls one finger downward
>>97766282what did he mean by this?
I don't know if I want to focus more on Grand Archive or Vanguard right now
>>97767338the closest you can get is an ai chatbot
>>97767695or social engineer someone to play games with you
>>97767695>>97767697No, anons. I want my actual waifu to play games with me.
I can't decide on a hero to main in FaB
>>97767719Iyslander
>>97767719Azalea, Ace in her holeOH WAITYou fucking can't
>>97767338You don't want this. True happiness is overrated.
New BNR dropped from LSS and it's a doozy.>admit classic constructed is perfect, no need to balance it as this is the best state the game's ever been in (lmao) >furthermore, they are not going to be banning cards in chapter starter precons until after they've had one whole competitive season (typically 3 months) and then they will be forced to ban things for the safety of the format >let the cat out of the bag that Chapterdecks failed and will not be continuing past part 3 >pat themselves on the back for how well silverage is going despite overtuned juggernauts ruining its balance and the worst performing new player onboard product in their history I give it until the end of the year and then this format is done for. Well done, that was a record, James.
>>97767800Well I can assure you crippling depression has been overrated too. I'm due for a new type of overrated. True happiness sounds nice.
>>97767719I jumped in and bought a few cheap blitz decks last summer and one was Chane and he went LL just after that and then his SAge version just got banned. The other was Victor and I am making a very casual CC deck after I made a SAge deck from him. I am maining guardian for now.>>97767742this, even her SAge deck is decent.pic not related
>>97767338My wife and I player a few games of the Godzilla Card Game this weekend.
It's been about a month now so I can officially say that Riftbounds second set, Spiritforged, is mid. Some good and powerful cards but a lot of the set is eaten up by equipment related things.Set 3, Unleashed, is looking much better already.
>>97767806troubling to say the least, their R&D is a problem for any consistent format, even CC.
>>97767978i want to like riftbound but the winning condition mechanics I just hate how quickly it becomes binary. Felt the same about one piece
>>97767978Set 2 killed scalpers, Set 3 looks to be fixing it a bit but I don't think the cards are generically powerful enough to justify a high price either.
Can someone explain to me where one piece tcg's depth/replay value comes from?Barely felt like any of my decisions mattered and was just chugging at opponents life total or removing biggest character.
>>97765554So far yes, it's a shared banlist.
>>97767806>preconstructed sage offerings will change to something with far less influence over this type of decision makingTranslating this corpo speak, they said these would be balanced and hold nothing back in power level, making them the perfect entry point to compete in their heavy-handed tournament circuit, initially. They failed to meet their mark and they're fully admitting they never will be able to meet this mark, largely because it influences far too much of their decision making in what to ban or restrict. Further translating into "we have no control over this game's balance and we fucked ourselves into a corner." They can say loudly what a great game it is but they know its design is rotten to the core. It finally caught up to them. They lack the talent to actually fix this. Its so fucking over.
>>97767978Good Spiritforged should be mid so I can get a booster box for less than a hundred bucks, fuck scalpers
>>97768755it's not about "lacking the talent to fix", it's about goals. players always seem to assume for some reason the publisher is trying to "fix" the game, whatever that means. all they're trying to do is move boxes, and manage any bad PR that would limit the box moving. that's it.
>>97768351Booba
>>97768787People without a job love thinking other people work for passion and not for money.
>>97768351A lot of it applies to multiple card games, but the sum overall makes it pretty fun to me tbqh:>Do you use your don to play cards or boost attacks?Do you know what your opponent is planning to do next turn, based on what they searched? Can you do something ahead of it to prepare?>Do you target characters to clear board or do you target life to get closer to winningWhen attacked, do you defend the character being attacked or just let them die? Do you use your blockers, counter from hand, or just take the life?>What order do you do your attacks?>Do you have enough power on board to finish the game this turn? If not, do you have enough tools to survive the opponent's next?
What you fail to realize is when they're prefacing communications with "let us clear the air" and "allow us to clearly state our policy" they are admitting that they have lost control of the narrative and that the continued state of affairs will risk damage to the brand going forward. They wouldn't be using this lingo if they were confident in what they were doing, full stop. For god's sake, they just announced their flagship intro product is a disaster in the same breath as "the game has never been better." This speaks volumes of their capability to navigate out of the mess of their own creating.Watch them pivot into horrendous business practices that will bleed money from the game in the short term. It's clear to everyone now they know they can't meet their own self-inflicted goal of making a game that can stand the test of time. This will become a premium slanted product indefinitely, the same way magic inundates their customer base with flashy collectors pieces and market tested crossovers. They speedran catching up to Wizard's detachment as a game maker and into a brand builder.>but they're a business. Yum yum, cum in my tum; consume! And that will be their death-knell.
>>97768800I love when you retards move the goal post to prove a mercurial point. Years and years now you've shat on FAB for being a terrible game. Now that it is, you're defending its scummy practices and claiming "they were just trying to make money, gosh. No such thing as pride in design or balance."
>>97767806>cc is perfec-Oh wait prebans announced because they are balancing for the next broken 0.5x hero to drop out of competition like our poor rangerfaggot found out >>97767760
>>97768351the depth isn't there. It feels like there is depth but the life system just feels like shit the longer you play. Rewarding the opponent for getting hit is batshit stupid I played during release and first expansion set and felt like the longer i played the less real decisions there were
>>97768865So it's not only attack face & characters, it's also choose to let them die or discard to prevent it? Sequencing who attacks first and applying don to buff is a little spice but isn't really convincing as to why so many play it competitively. Still seems like budget FaB or straight up worse Digimon.>>97769677A little too harsh and stuff might've changed since then but that's what I'm afraid of or what it seems like on surface level whenever a new bandai game releases.>>97768790Understandable
>>97770211>A little too harsh and stuff might've changed since then but that's what I'm afraid of or what it seems like on surface level whenever a new bandai game releases.ya I dont know what the power level is like now but I just really grew to dislike the life system. Being put in a position where it feels like its bad to attack their life in end game just is not fun to me. You should never be directly punished for attacking life totals in a game imo, but shit like gum gum pistol exists
>>97770237Rubberbanding is good actually and why card shields > hp
>>97770289no it isn't, why should I be directly punished for establishing control/tempo of the board?
where are those altered 10£ booster boxes?or should i say 10¥?
>>97764782New thread new reminder to prepare your team for the 2026 Rush of Ikkor $100,000 prize pool, where participating in previous tournaments is NOT required.
