Each of the different shoulder pads on the sprue are numbered in the instructions, but some of the photos the pose obscures the shoulders. Took my custodes off the shelf and I gotta say they are definitely the healthiest they've been in a long time. Thanks to 11th's rules and the new points they're an actual army thay plays warhammer again instead of a warden circlejerk/land raider circus. Actually able to tank without being laughably easy to kill or literally immortal. Most fun I've had with them in a while and my opponent didn't want to blow their brains out with a shotgun. Can't wait to see bikes go back up to 8 billion points and be unusable so we can return to triple wardens stand in circle as the only viable way to play the army.

I really want to reconnect with him and I understand that this game isn't cheap so I wanted to get a sanity check. I am just looking for 1000 points of used Krieg pre-painted. What should I realistically pay for that? Prices are all over the place on ebay and peoples collections don't really make sense to me from my limited understanding. Some listings have half a unit like 3 out of 5 figures or some even have 6 out of 5 somehow.I just want to grab 1000 points of someone's old stuff and just sit down and play with my friend. I don't really want any more and am not interested in painting. What should I reasonably pay for that as I monitor ebay listings? How often would you guys say a lot like that might pop up?

It's decent for learning the ropes, but you don't even have the characters or battleline units required to benefit from the detachment rule so it actually doesn't give you any pain tokens (Drazhar is not an Archon). Skysplinter, Reaper's Wager, or Kabalite Cartel would probably work out better for your current list.Talos should never take the twin splinter cannons on the tail when twin heat lances cost the same. Haywire are usually the preferred option but are more expensive. Melee weapons are all fine though you can't attack with both profiles at once so it's better to run either twin scalpels, put an extra attacks injector in one hand, or throw a liquidizer on one arm for a flamer threat.I understand why your Kabalites are equipped the way they are, but adding a Splinter cannon and a shredder to them is pretty much a strict upgrade.Reavers are great for speeding around and doing objectives but you might actually want to split them up into two units of 3 to give you more units to be in more places at once.Drazhar is good but you might get more mileage out of an Archon in this list instead since it can get you some cheaper strategems and activate your Detachment rule.As cool as Kabalites are Wyches are actually a much better unit right now and cheaper too. I know you don't like them aesthetically, but a Hameonculus and 5 Wracks only runs you 110 points right now which is the same as a Warrior band and would get you more options and a lot more pain tokens.

So you gotta ask what you can hold that objective with, because the Kabalites certainly won't do.You definitely need an Archon to go with the Kabalites, so you start with 3 Pain Tokens. The reavers will be the units that fly 14-22 inches, to be the place you need them to be, and do the actions you need them to do. They will need those tokens.
