Question to the grogs: do you remember 6th editions power levels, tier list or whatever? So in 6th I have two army books and they seem close in power (aside from the Anvil) and both have their own interesting things so I'm thinking I could just use the first army book against weaker armies and the second book against stronger armies to make the games more even.

>>98722038I was actually considering 15PPM since they don't get crossbows. They'd be a rare option and a 0-1 core in the army of infamy list I'm brainstorming - I want to encourage some homebrewing at my club but need to polish it up before I show it off to make a good first impression. It represent a ranger encampments, clans that lost their holds and now travel the roads or just a throng moving fast to aid an ally.>name: overground defense >characters: all characters plus bugman, no anvil>core: miners, quarrelers, 0-1 rangers and 0-1 longbeard rangers per thousand points>special: warriors, thunderers, rangers, 0-1 slayers per thousand points, >rare: gyrocopters, longbeards, longbeard rangers, carts>new hero: Josef Bugman - I think he can be transplanted from the 6.5 book mostly intact >new character if we can't bring back bugman: thane with ranger equipment, options and special rules >special rule idea #1: spring the trap - once per game at the start of your movement phase you can declare this special rule, if you do so in the first turn your vanguard units add +X inches to their vanguard move, if it's in later turn they can add +X to their charge and march moves (I'm thinking 3" added after all other modifiers or a +1 to base movement unless it could be abused too much)>special rule idea #2: all your infantry units can buy one of the following special rules combination if they don't already have it: scout and move through cover OR vanguard and ambush (I think +2 points per model since it's dwarfs?)>special rule idea #3: all your infantry units can be switched to open order before the gameObviously it's not meant for any serious tournament play, but I'd like it to be somewhat balanced.
>>98721767I think Warhammer Online was pretty spot on with the classes since they covered most archetypes, at most you'd have to rename a few. >>98722134>rangers and longbeard rangers just as common>rangers not compulsory in a rangers list>miners as core and not limited in a rangers listother than these I'd say it's about rightlongbeard rangers are a good example of a homebrew unit because it's just translating already existing statlines and costs across similar unitsheavily restricting units in an uncomfortable way and shifting around the rarity of the others in exchange of rules that hopefully change how the army normally plays is also a good lesson to encourage homebrews, especially if it's something that works at lower point levels for small armies to actually get made as hobby projects, or not have to contend with the usual metaI'm just not too sure this will achieve the intended result of having a dwarf army suddenly start moving and positioning differently, making it possible for the units to move a bit faster is not the same as making the units want to move faster and spread out on the flanks, especially in an army that would ideally still have lots of shooting I think you should change the spring the trap rule to something that rewards flanking a unit, even with ranged weapons, say for example it was possible for ranged units to shoot an enemy unit even if that enemy unit was charged by one of your units in the same turn, as long as the charge and the ranged attacks happen on different sides of the enemy unit, especially if those ranged kills contributed to combat resolution, suddenly it would be a way more tempting thing to spread your units and engage the enemy in daring charges and crossfires, instead of turtling up somewhere and hoping your stacks of great weapons are enough to kill the enemy after you've shot at him with crossbows while he marches to meet youyou can add the simpler bonus to movement to rule#3 and still have the rules seem thematic and smooth
>>98722374Is this Warhammer art?
>>98722544>in a ranger listIt can be seen as that but it's a more of a "quick, who do we have on hand around here? Some rangers, prospectors and a gyrocopter flying over? Guess it will have to do" list. I didn't want to make rangers unlimited in core since they're way better than quarrelers for a small point increase so people could consider that power gaming by filling up on them and just sitting in the back peppering the enemy like a regular gunline, plus too many skirmishers might just be too unfun to play against. No such problem with with Miners tho.>I'm just not too sure this will achieve the intended result of having a dwarf army suddenly start moving and positioning differently(...)I'd love it to be an army that's all around the table, scouting, vanguarding and coming off table edges. >I think you should change the spring the trap rule to something that rewards flanking a unit,Not a bad idea but I don't want it to be a flat fighting bonus - royal clans already have that, x force has something different with moving gunline, and I'd like to mobility be the theme of this one, but attacking from two sides is too hard to pull off most of the time and is already rewarding.> if that enemy unit was charged by one of your units in the same turn, as long as the charge and the ranged attacks happen on different sides of the enemy unit,Charges come before shooting so they can't happen on the same turn, usually. If you could shoot then charge then this could be useful.>you can add the simpler bonus to movement to rule#3 and still have the rules seem thematic and smoothI want to limit flat +1s on the list, the two other AoI (I'm ignoring slayers for how halfbaked that one is) have bonuses, but most are in exchange for something (extra rune budget extra points spent on runes and not units, moving warmachines have lower T, etc).
>>98722586Yes.

Since we have some dwarf players here: anybody else thinks dwarfs should get some sort of minor runes or some heirlooms like in 8th for Battle March? Minor runes could be cheaper versions of the regular ones but with some limitation like only being able to put two runes on an item if you use minor ones. Because you paying 25 points for an additional attack rune while the opponent can get a 25 points sword that has an extra attack, -1 AP and wound rerolls on flank and rear attacks seems unfair.
>>98720438Isn't the main difference dwarf handguns?I only use the first book when I want to use gyrocopters, the rules are more fun
>>98722873Off the top of my head so correct me if I mix something up, first book:>anvil is a spellcaster that can't suffer perils, miscasts just end the magic phase>characters can pick any armor, engineer lets you guess the range twice on warmachines >special characters are thorek and alrik>rangers and miners are 0-1 core units>multiple army variants>organ guns have 18" range, gyrocopter crashes at 0 wounds, flame cannon gets more unstable as it loses wounds>runic banner that let's you reroll ones in combat and shooting>longbeards are immune to panic, hammerers get stubborn if they're guarding the general>and yes, handguns can move and shoot and get +1 to hit at short rangeSecond book:>mostly minor book-wide point cuts that can add up to buy a few more upgrades>anvil is now a warmachine that can't miscast or be dispelled but only uses one power per turn and can blow up on a bad roll>all characters wear gromril armor for free, engineer is now master engineer and is more about rerolls>special characters are bugman and thorek, alrik's shield bearers are now a generic dwarf lord upgrade>rangers are now an upgrade for longbears warriros and quarrelers, miners are in special and can buy and upgrade that lets them reroll reinforcement rolls, longbeards can be taken in core for every warrior unit>no army variants>organ guns are 24", gyrocopters don't crash, flame cannon is more stable>all special warmachines can now buy an engineer for cheap, who improves their BS, gives rerolls, acts as an additional crewman and a good champ that can kill cheap fliers <---- this is the biggest thing about this book to me and would really buff ToW dwarfs if it came back IMO>many new fun runes, the reroll 1s banner rune got cut>longbeards now have a panic reroll aura, hammerers are always stubborn and immune to fear/terror if they're with the dwarf lord>handguns are move or shoot but get +1 to hit at all ranges
>>98722953One more thing I remembered: in the first book it was errata'd that when shooting at the anvil you randomize hits between and the crew (instead of just the crew like it was originally and how it is in the second book) and then discard any hits against the anvil, while in the second book it was faq'd that the master engineer can entrench the anvil so you can give it hard cover and obstacle.
>>98722953>>98722970Oh and in the second book the warmachine crew gained stubborn as long as the machine was alive so if you charged them with some weak skirmishers not only could the engineer beat them up, so as long as they survived the charge they had a high chance of holding you up for a turn or two instead of giving you an easy sweep - at least from my experience.
>Be me>Developing story concept for WHFRP>Wine magnate keeps canopic jar with Liche Priest heart in his cellar>The necromantic energies make the wine taste amazing>Magnate doesn't know the jar has a heart in it, he just bought it because he liked the aesthetic>Wine magnate hires PCs to trash his house for insurance fraud, he needs to leave town fast because he got a little too silly with his murdering hobby>PCs stumble on the jar while trashing the cellar, one of them inevitably smashes or opens it>Heart tumbles out, necromantic energies released>Literal skeletons in magnate's closet come tumbling out to engage PCs>They are now cursed, have to find a way to lift the curse, and the magnate dies after falling off a balcony ledgeI'm thinking they'll be harried by two oppositional factions; a necromancer in service to a Lahmian baddy and a Nurgle cult that wants to corrupt the heart into the fleshy acorn of a corpse tree.

Making a 650pt BM army list for WoC.Do I spend points on a melee champion or an exalted sorcerer?Previous advice was if taking a sorc, take Ruby Rinf of Ruin but I don't want my list to be unfun. Is RRoR too much in a 650pt list? Would I be better off taking the champ instead?Rest of list is 2 x 5 marauder horsemen, 1 x 6 chaos warhounds, 2 x skinwolves and 11 chaos warriors for the general to hang with, if this helps.

>>98723727It’s the only high elf kit that’s good. Such a shame. But that’s just because of the mount, I don’t give a damn about pinheads.
>>98723741Pinheads are cool.
I bring tales of sieges! Our club had our first summer siege event last Saturday. The free town of Pfeildorf was beset by marauders during its Oktoberfest, so we had a pint and manned the walls!
>>98723810We played 3 games through the day, with 24 people in attendance. 2 good guys would defend a gate while 2 bad guys would attack, with each pairing shuffled per round. The first scenario was a double match where the defenders would sally forth to destroy enemy siege weapons under construction- any wounds dealt to siege weapons in this scenario would carry over to the final assault or possibly even destroy a siege engine!
>>98723820I had my brother draw up some banners with a Bavarian style pattern to hang from the walls. I rigged up a magnet system to hold them on without damaging the donated fortresses. My dwarves are featured fighting side by side with an elf
>>98723828At our table we were stalled by MANY goblins. Eventually I managed to crash a gyro into a siege tower and cause a wound on it.
>>98723835On the other side, warriors with forge fire great weapons cut down the trolls and burned the covered ram to ashes.
>>98723727So fucking kino.. high elf supremacy
>>98723839The second scenario was a battle match scenario and each pairing would choose one of 2 battles to fight: a blockade run with a supply wagon, or an undermine mission. I chose the underline mission and three some slayers down there to get the job done. They went up against the same troll horde player from scenario 1.
>>98723848
>>98723848Turns out slayers are really good at killing trolls and goblins. They sliced and diced everything they came in contact with! Unfortunately, I took to long killing goblins and the scenario ended in a draw. At that table, it means a wall will collapse on a random turn in the final assault.
>>98723855The final assault was a double match again, 3000 points of attackers vs 2000 of defenders and all the attrition dealt so far.I was paired with another dwarf player, and he went short where I was fighty, so he manned(dwarfed?) the walls while I sallied out with my king and hammerers
>>98723861The attackers at this table were ogres and warriors of chaos, and while some damage had been dealt, they had a full complement of siege engines AND had collapsed a wall!
>>98723866I plugged the gap with longbeards as beast as I could. A fat mob of ogre characters and bruisers charge headlong into the breach, but we end up drawing 3 combats in a row!
>>98723877The hammerers end up getting triple charged and dying to a dwarf, leaving the stubborn king to do the job himself.
A few challenges helped to slow down the hordes at the gate and the king held the gate for the rest of the game against ogres, chaos warriors, and the chaos lord!
A bunch of mauraders made it into an unguarded tower with their grappling hooks, so my partner was preoccupied fending them off. At the end of the day though, they were driven away and the ogres were cut down by cannon fire, so we successfully defended our gate!
Good lord all my pictures are sideways… I’m sorry about that. I was probably having too much fun.At the end of the day we had 2 wins for the defenders, 2 for the attackers, and one draw. Another gate ended up not being used after the troll player dropped. Here’s an action shot from another gate being smashed in by a hydra.

>>98724255>>98724316Thank you for the advice! I'm still trying to work out the kinks of the premise - it's always important to start a campaign strong - but finding some way to convince the PCs to actually... Y'know, engage with the plot device... Is important. It's pinging my GM senses as poor theater, but then I think about, say, the false inheritance in Enemy Within and how the narrative assumes the PCs engage with it. WHFRP is full of assumed behaviors from the PCs.That said, I think I could approach this from a more thematic angle. WHFRP plots are, most often, PCs getting swept up in a plot and, eventually, taking the reins of that plot. Thousand Thrones has them start as simple pilgrims with an in with Karl. Enemy Within has them be wandering vagrants. Most of Rough Days and Hard Nights presents how days or nights will proceed even without PC input. That might be an important way to look at this; SOMETHING should happen if the PCs ignore the canopic jar. Question is, what? The manor is located in the tilled hills of Eilhart, where the famed "Weinfest" takes place. There are angles to play this; the magnate got seduced by the whispered dreams of the Liche Priest, and compulsively kills to preserve the bodies. A lot of taxidermized animals in his rumpus room could foreshadow this. He could have also (correctly) surmised that spirits "enhance" the flavor of wine, and buries riff-raff in the soil to feed their "experience" to the grapes.>Witch Hunters of some Morrite Priests can also go after them.Excellent. A zealous Witch Hunter convinced of the PC's guilt in necromancy is a solid way to keep the PCs scared.

He sent the PCs there to die. The insurance fraud was a cover to kill him. He's got guys in the estate to kill the PCs. What kind of people sign on to commit insurance fraud with a stranger? The sort of wretches that would not be missed. Maybe he's part of the Nurgle fertility cult found in "Hell comes to Hallt" which I was planning to include as the follow-up adventure as the PCs make their way to Altdorf, as they'll be told that's where the greatest collection of foreign antiquities can be found. endless threads screeching about dwarfs painted up with dark skin to one side, by including Gazul in the main setting, GW just inadvertently canonised those terrible WFRP supplements written by an American with all the dwarf wife sharing and ancestor god incestFor the uninitiated:>dwarf brothers share wives, supposedly because there are less fem dwarfs than males>Grungni, Grimnir and Valaya are all siblings>Grimnir has two kids with Valaya, then Grungni does>Grombrindal is also Grungni's kid, goes on to fuck Valaya, his stepmum/aunt>Gazul does not fuck Valaya, but in a later WFRP supplement has an autistic ancestor god son who grows up to be the Horned RatDid GW know about this when they signed off on it, or do they genuinely give no fucks about anything that isn't 40k these days?>>98720415>TQI play dwarfs, of course I run a fucking gunline
>>98724741Nah, it's all about aesthetics. The core rules aren't at all special, warband composition can be exploited in ways that the game can become miserable to other players, the campaign system is good, but it's essentially a retooled Necromunda '95. Hell, it even shares a lot in common with Warhammer Skirmish, which isn't nearly as universally beloved, despite also being an alright game and actually supporting most fantasy armies.Mordheim's success has everything to do with its vibes. The fluff and setting are interesting and offer fresh ideas beyond what your typical Skirmish game at the time would. The artwork is evocative and punchy, makes you want to learn more about the city and its dwellers. It's a game about downtrodden lowlifes, religious fanatics and freaks trying to murder each other over magic crack in a fantasy post-apocalyptic city. It's edgy, stupid and cool. The hobby select of the game is also very appealing; on one hand, you've got a small amount of models, each of them with individualised gear and abilities, so customisation is encouraged. On the other hand, the game actually benefits from complex, varied terrain layouts, so players experience a positive feedback loop when they notice how the terrain they make enhances the atmosphere, gameplay and narrative, unlike in whfv, where a dozen pieces of terrain is often enough for most players. It really is more style than subterranean at times, it's also some of the best fun I've had with the Warhammer song and miniature gaming in general.

>>98725024Did gazul exist exclusively in wfrp? Also, if we're taking aos stuff as retroactive retcons to fantasy then hashut is also sibling with grugni, grimnir and valaya, hashut may also have had a daughter with valaya, and aos said that the gender ratio of dwarfs moves towards 1:1 when magic flows particularly strong (which in hindsight makes sense in a race made for antimagic: population booms in reaction to greater amounts of magic, lower populations when there's less magic to oppose)
>>98725024Gazul has been a thing in the background lore for aos for a while now. That being said, the way hashut was handled in aos was kind of a very clear break with whfb ancestor god and chaos dwarf lore. It can't really happen if we take whfb into account, so in the aos universe all that shit must be retconned. In tow chaos dwarfs are of course still a thing with all their hashut worship. I think this represent the biggest "break" in continuity between whfb/tow and aos so far.Anyway aos doesn't have the dwarf gender ratio or sibling sharing shit in the first place. I don't know if valaya, grimnir and grungni have ever been explicitely called each other's siblings there either. Nor have their kids been mentioned. Grungni does have some demigod kids running around but they're not valaya's, or at least they've never been mentioned as such. We'll find out a lot more once the new tome comes out since ancestor gods are a major theme. But as for your last point no, not really, gw is not going to constrain itself by ancient rpg supplements for new lore written for a new ip, even if that one is *supposed* to be a continuation. Vice versa any aos lore does not immediately imply a change in whfb lore.Honestly as a fan of both I think it's best for both settings to kind of stand on their own feet without having to worry about the implications of lore for one on the other. Long term I'd want them to be separate universes entirely honestly, with maybe some overlap in the same way fantasy and 40k had.

>>98725631>Genuinely how?The simplest possibility is that the ancestor gods gave him a second chance and tried to welcome him back into the fold in the early age of myth. After all early aos was full of unlikely alliances like the pantheon of order forming ties with gorkamorka and nagash. They all went through an apocalypse, they all had to rebuild from scratch in a land of greater dangers, their people needed all the help they could get.And his renegade past also creates a better context as to why there would be strained relations and doubtful expectations that would devolve back into a second falling out.Just one option amongst others though.

>>98730181I understand that these articles are 100% pure advertising for the new models, but I think it's a shame that, since 2012, all the studio armies exclusively use "modern" miniatures. During the days of 7th and 8th (and earlier, naturally), White Dwarf, the catalogues, and other such publications still had the old metal minis hanging around for battle reports, army pictures, and so on. Now, it seems like GW desperately wants to avoid the really old stuff that they don't sell anymore. It's perfectly logical, but it makes me sad.
>>98730164Nta, but dwarves have enough controversial stuff in their lore to make people polarized on them. Between the botched attempts to make them feel alien but ultimately just making them really dumb humans, the whole “we don’t use wood” grim derpness and other 40kisims. Anyways I don’t think anyone is trying to excuse there for being dwarf women in fantasy. As far as I’m aware, AOS has had something like the whole krogan genophage thing from mass effecf but for dwaves cured by the mcguffin that was the shroud tower which upped the fertility rates of the species affected. It’s something that’s entirely isolated in AOS, in short, and would likely never affect fantasy.

>>98730312Prime wellPaint them while they're blu-tac'd to the top of a paint bottle or other handle to minimise manual handlingVarnish and seal them - first gloss (durability) then either satin or matt (kill the shine)Put strong magnets underneath and use magnetic movement trays
https://www.warhammer-community.com/en-gb/articles/g7lisprl/warriors-of-chaos-armies-fresh-from-the-studio/I hate to be a frown clown but I do feel the studio army showcases are thoroughly mediocre these days.Compare these armies to those you used to see in "A tale of four wargamers" articles in white dwarfs of yore, and there was so much more personality and richness to the armies presented, whereas this new stuff is just very stock standard models with little (if any) conversions, hit with contrast paint and narey even a highlight. Also, what is with that one tard Quinn painting half his marauder faces with dark skin? They're literally northmen clad in furs with a raven on the banner, not southlandic melaniggas baked in the sun
>>98730572Quinn always does that. I am assuming it’s because Quinn is an evil tranny (Quinn is a very tranny coded name)
>>98730576I'm kinda surprised Dave didn't add black paint schemes to his models, since he put them in his Brettnoia one.I'm not sure this colour scheme works either; maybe if it were mostly steel with brass trim
>>98729611oh that's a good ideayeah fucking hate powerscalers, they jerk off 40K (and Fantasy too to a lesser extent) like nutslike the Vs Battles wiki saying the Rat Ogre is "multi city block level"
>>98722773Nah.Fuck dwarfs
Which dwarf models (any era) look most like those on the left in this art?
>>98722773As a Dwarf player I encourage just about anything to add more flavor to the army. Bring back stuff from 6/6revised and 8th in terms of Runes, rules and wargear! The stacking 1-3 runes of the same type and getting extra effects is something I very much miss.
>>98730841Probably the 6th edition onesThe ones after that have chainmail yes, but it has an leather edging to it not shown in the art
>>98730841Probably the 3rd ed sculpts
>>98730853>I love flavor!>the flavor:>stacking buffsEvery time
>>98730921The fact that 3x Rune of X did not just add X, but depending on how many you had added Y or Z was a nice little bonus. I also want more stuff, new armies of infamy and regiments/concepts pulled from the past and revisited.
>>98730909Man scale really has crept since ancient days huh
>>98726721Kek
>>98730572>I hate to be a frown clown
>>98730938The new King and Thanes look pretty bad, honestly. The design cues are there, but they do not look correct when compared to old sculpts.
>>98730938It is indeed a sad thing to see Dwarfs slowly become the size of Umgi, baka.
After playing I’ve come to the realization that gw has no ability to make a decent wargame.
>>98731033ToW is pretty good, great even.
>>98731033The joy is as much in painting and converting and having all the customisation options
>>98731033MESBG is a good game. TOW is decent, a bit clunky at times. A lot depends on who you play with. But the game is almost an afterthought to painting and modeling.
>>98731033They used to
>>98731051stop spamming slop
>>98731051>>98720415>>98730364
>>98731107Thats... not how 4chan works? You don't just get to make up thread rules lol
>>98731092>>98731107What are these reddit karens even doing here. That's such a feminine bitch behavior it reminds me of HOAs lol
>>98731151Whoever makes the thread is allowed to make the rules for the thread, tourist.
>>98731186Again, that's not how 4chan works. If it doesn't violate the global rules mods and jannies don't give a fuck. It just has to stay on topic.
>>98731192Not true. A lot of porn boards had to adopt a similar stance between the rampant futa posting and AI slop posting. You can catch bans for posting slop in non-slop threads. As you should. Slop is like smoking. Do it in the comfort of your own house, let it destroy your brain but keep it from healthy people.
>>98731207That's because those are off topic to the thread in question, not because its AI.Again, you can't just make up your own rules.
>>98731231Have you considered posting your slop in the slop general instead? Slop Syndrome is as bad as Vegans.
>>98731033You've just now come to this conclusion? GW games have always been shit, but it's only got increasingly worse with time because it's now just a product instead of a passion for the designers. The og GW guys were at least passionate about wargaming even if they were amateur rules writers. The most interesting thing about GW rules is how they flat out refuse to update archaic and poorly designed mechanics, especially in 40k. The excuse is that the players will revolt, but they have no problem fucking up beloved well established lore which players are passionate about, and they already constantly change the rules each edition, lastly we all know that no matter what rule changes they make the players will just accept it anyways. Therefore the only conclusion we could make is that they don't fix in the poor and unfun rules in Warhammer for no other reason that sheer incompetence and a complete ignorance of what makes a good game. When Richard Clarke writes the amazing and critically acclaimed WW2 ruleset Chain of Command, he is drawing on decades of experience in the wargaming industry and references and takes ideas from dozens of WW2 rulesets he has played and read, and a massive amount of research and passion for WW2 and wargaming in general. When GW writes 40k 11th edition or TOW, the only thing they reference is the previous edition that came before it, which itself only references the edition before it. It becomes a copy of a copy of a copy, etc. in addition to the fact that the average GW rules writer has zero experience in anything outside of Warhammer, so has no where else to draw ideas and inspiration from. >>98731067MESBG is a decent game by wargaming standards, an exceptional game by GW game standards
>>98731265Did you really reply to yourself with a wall of text? Talking about how GW is only able to reference itself while samefagging
>>98731316>reply to yourself Take your meds
>>98720878>demigod of the most powerful pantheon, worshipped by men and elves alike>accomplish... literally nothingBoring waifubait character. Whatever the opposite of a Mary Sue is, she is. Faildaughter.
>>98722222That dreadlord and the nu-Ogre Bodyguard are fukken sick. The bottom two suck pingas and are much more typical of dying tranny game models' style.
>>98731051Fucking subhuman slopper gtfo
>>98731316He is more or less objectively correct. I notice that whenever you can't refute or counterpoint what someone says you just accuse of samefagging
>>98731386>back of chair isn't anywhere close to where it should beAt least post well drawn stuff anon
>>98727222>wekys homo
>>98730228>tasteless slob has a tasteless slob opinionWow
>>98720415I just came here to say that AoS did irreparable damage to the ease and comfort of buying WFB models. Any search for Warhammer Fantasy, WFB, or even The Old World always includes dumb AoS shit and old models remounted on round bases. Before it was always wading through a pond of shit to find a gem but now it's like spelunking on shit planet and everything is roundbased anyway.
>>98731406Older editions have a lot of technically really bad art. They corrected that eventually by hiring artists like Kopinski but it didn't last long.
>>98731186lmao, OP is a fag.
>>98731461Yeah that Cathay shit is awful
>>98731487Yeah that too. Just tons of fucking second hand Cathay that the fake fan basedboys fawned over. "Of course we need China-pandering nufaction that was a footnote meant to evoke mystery!" Only to drop them and saturate the market. Fucking hate it.
>>98730938I'm pretty convinced that the new khazalid heroes for AoS were made as part of an original batch with the recent dwarf heroes for TOW because they look so similar
>>98731461Some second-hand market websites will let you filter extremely specifically so you won't see any non-WFB models. Troll Trader, for example, lets you filter by game, range, material, etc. Including "oldhammer" or "midhammer" in your search might also help. As for models that are on round bases, it's pretty sad, but you can always see it as rescuing them and putting them on the correct bases.
>>98729606I look like that and I say that
>>98731515>As for models that are on round bases, it's pretty sad, but you can always see it as rescuing them and putting them on the correct bases.Yeah I've considered that because round based armies tend to be better painted for some reason. But they want upwards of $1,500 for those lots. So instead of avoiding hobby labor I'm paying more to do extra hobby labor
