Played a fantastic game at 1500 points pitch battle betwen my greenskins and Royal clan Dwarfs. For the first time i brought a lvl 2 night gob shamam and lore familiar to use fist and foot of Gork!Snagrog's army marched up and through a torrent of gunfire, engaged the Ironbreakers, with Grimtoof facing the hammerers and the trolls.Rumpbum the Shaman summoned Gork's foot to the field, devastating both hammerers and warriors. The giant was charged by the royal clan warriors who were gradually grinded and stomped to bits, eventually breaking and being run down.The Ironbreaker champion duelled Snagrog, causing a wound through his massive dead ard armour and talisman, only to be butchered in turn.The Ironbreakers broke after the Black Orcs charged but escaped! The King and his Hammerers tore Grimtoof's boyz to ribbons, but not before Grimtoof killed a Hammerer in melee, only to break with the trolls FBIGOThe quarrelers and the Hammerers charged Snagrog's unit, the big un champion being shoved forward to die to the thing. Despite the horrific casualties, Snagrog's big uns FBIGO.

For what it's worth, of the plastic chaos warriors I've collected, these are my least favourite, though that opinion may change if I decide to get some of the TOW ones. My (objectively correct) preferences as far as plastic chaos warriors go are as follows: 5th multipart plastic kit (abbr. as MPK henceforth) > heroquest monopose > battlemasters monopose > 4th ed monopose > 6th MPK > TOW MPK (tentative, need to see them in person before I can really form an opinion). The battlemasters monopose models are notable in that they're the only forcibly-cloaked chaos warriors I actually like. I've been eyeing a couple listings for them recently and I might add them to my collection soon.

They're also not WFB models, though I suppose neither are the heroquest and battlemasters monopose warriors as well as the TOW MPK, if you want to get technical. Off the cuff, I dislike the AoS warriors even more than I do the 6th ed ones. The 6th MPK is at least practical. You can get a proper regiment of 6th ed warriors assembled, ranked up, and painted swiftly and easily. This is not the case for the AoS warriors. Everything bad about the 6th ed kit with none of the good, that's what's wrong with them. As for the TOW warriors, I'll reserve my final judgment for when I get to see them in person (and most importantly, actually build them), but I find the cheap callback to the 5th ed aesthetic to be insulting in its insincere insipidity. Good on them for realizing the 6th ed design direction was a dead end (as in it couldn't be iterated upon without making the kit worse, see the AoS warriors), but they didn't grasp what makes the 5th ed warriors so timeless. The helmets aren't cool, the shields are very ugly and not including any weapon options in the box is a complete joke. Plastic chaos warrior kits have a long history of having 2 weapon options straight out of the box, with the 5th ed kit letting you build your warriors with HW+S or halberds (with 1 of 2 metal command squad bits and metal halberds being included in some of the boxes) and the 6th ed kit letting you build them with HW+S and AHWs alongside upgrade kits for halberds and great weapons (sold separately, of course). Even if they release upgrade kits in the future, the kit's legacy is indelibly stained with the sin of only coming with HW+S in the box. Shame! Shame on the TOW warriors!
