Thanks! It's a recast. I used enamel washes for everything; a black one for the plasma cannon and a reductive AK dark vehicle wash on the rhino. The gunmetal is VMC burnt iron with a drybrush of TTC mythril blade and the trim is just PA bronze which I still need to tidy up, wash and highlight.

I wrote a bit on /my-dudes/, its 3rd person narrative but I guess it could be a survivor or witness telling a story.

They're a viking themed Nidzilla "fleet".
The Jötunnhive is the near dead carcass of a lone Hiveship that crashed into and through the polar ice cap of a world on the fringes of imperial space.


The Hiveship moves slowly in the deep polar ocean below the ice sheet, evading detection while devoting most available resources to healing its wounds and preparing to produce the structures necessary to allow the hive ship to return to space and spawn a new fleet.


As such the hiveship is not willing to waste resources on disposable troops has shifted all spawning to the largest most resilient breeds modified with additional regeneration genomes to allow them to both survive the extreme polar cold as well as being capable of withdrawing and quickly healing from a lost battle.


Consequently carnifexs are the smallest of the Jötunn encountered by the world's defenders, raiding further and further south each season as more land is conquered and stripped to feed the ravenous Hiveship.


Each monster is a veteran, gargantuan guerillas attacking vulnerable targets then fading into the wilderness before a strong retaliation can be mustered.

Distinctive markings and apparently unique symbiote weapons have produced a catalogue of characters whose reputations precede them in fearful rumours.

Some already known, the Swarmlord spawned to be the mastermind of their careful attacks, "Prowling Anguish" the Stonecrusher, demolisher of fortifications.

The Tyrannofex "Howling Shard", an ace of armoured combat and expert at halting an armoured column’s pursuit.

The Malceptor "Sorrows Echo" spreads a psychic miasma of creeping dread that can kill without ever breaching a wall.

Yeah I think that would circumvent the Arizona style scheme if you switch out the pale green for a pale blue/bluegreen instead, and I think bright red and pink would look awesome with that.
