The Epic Heroes Series (4" scale) is receiving its first vehicle, The Mandalorian's N-1 starfighter that will retail for $34.99 and clocking in at 17" long and 9" wide. A suitable contender if you did not want to pay for the TVC version. Other vehicles and speeders are slated to follow.
>>
>>10953510
In recent news, YakFace has posted that Target has zeroed out all of its DPCI's for TVC in their system and priced everything to $0.00. There is, so far, no indication this is just part of their seasonal reset and will be adding the figures back into their system so far now effectively TVC will not be carried at Target stores. If you have a store near you, it may be worth checking out to pick up last remaining items for very cheap. Some people have reported they were able to purchase lingering items for as little as 5 cents because of the $0 price it rings up at.

If TVC really does end i have no reason to collect star wars anymore. I refuse to get into blacked series and if hasbro decides to truly abandon 3.75 then they will have no interest from me anymore. It kills me that i maybe seeing the toyline that ive collected since i was a literal small child be ending in this way

This does not mean TVC as a line is ending, as was posted by the Product Director for the Star Wars brand at Hasbro, Mr. Stevie. This just means Target stores won't carry the line, which still is not great however.
>>
>>10953515
TVC isn't ending, don't worry. Remember they are still announcing a TVC HasLab next month. We have stuff in the pipeline for the next year. At worst the line itself just becomes a Fan Channel/online only thing which half of the recent pre-orders have been anyway.

>the Star Wars brand at Hasbro, Mr. Stevie.
This is the same Mr Stevie that said the Marvel Retro 3.75in line was not cancelled, but put on hiatus. I'm not saying he's lying, just laughing at the connection.

Personally, my belief is that 3.75in isn't cancelled. There's possibly a shakeup with retailers, maybe Target is dropping it, maybe they are just resetting. But they will still crank out releases for Hasbro Pulse, etc. Losing Target will hurt new sculpts, but they can rerelease old molds all year long if they wanted to.

Do I care any more? No, not really. I just want a great update to ANH Luke, Han, and Obi Wan, maybe Tarkin, but Hasbro barely touches the OT these days, and that's all I'm buying except shit like the upcoming lazy rerelase of an older R2D2 mold. I still want more Cantina & Jabba's Palace denizens, so I'll always buy them, but IDGAF about the non OT shit.

100% it's probably moving to online retailer, Hasbro Pulse, and Haslab, while 3.75 gets replaced by Epic Heroes as we come full circle back to lower acticulation figures.

>>

Man, all I want from this line are some Snowtroopers so I can finally build an army en masse without spending an obscene amount of money.
>>
>>10953610
Brah, Target dipping out of 1:18 figures almost a decade back led to Walmart carrying the 1:18 line exclusively.

With TRU gone... are sales really so shit that Hasbro is going to lower the minimum orders a line can get to continue supporting it?

>>
>>10953806
it's 4inch scale and $10/figure. You should be able to get older POTF2 Snowtroopers for cheaper and those are 1:18, both would have the same articulation
>>
Star Wars is dead at retail
>>
>>10953830
>Target dipping out of 1:18 figures almost a decade back led to Walmart carrying the 1:18 line exclusively

Yes, and that era was an insanely bleak time for 1:18 scale Star Wars collecting. We’d get like 4 or 5 new super articulated figures a year.
>>
>>10953842
Better paint too than a modern release would have too. For all the reasons POTF2 gets slandered, paint should not be one of them. In terms of paint apps and plastic quality, POTF2 is leagues better than any 5POA line Hasbro has tried in recent years. I don’t mind 5POA figures. I do mind when they look like dollar store crap through, which POTF2 never did. Those figures were built like tanks.
>>
>>10953758
>This thing is so sick it vomited all over itself
>>
>>10953806
>>10953842
With enough time/patience you could hunt ebay for the old 2007 articulated snowtroopers and pay $10 (or less) per trooper, that figure's not perfect by any means but it's infinitely better than whatever might eventually come from epic heroes. Making them 5poa and not even semi-pre-posed like some of the Solo figures was an irredeemable fuckup, the only good thing that might come from the line is some vehicles, assuming they eventually branch out into things that don't already exist from TVC/previous 3.75" lines.
>>
>>10953506
what is this about TVC ending I see?
Why would it end? I dont get it..? 3.75 star wars has always been a thing
well come to think of it now when the last 3 movies released there was no tvc, it was weird. black series was also 3.75 if i recall. But I remember i didn't collect 3.75 star wars at the time cause the toys sucked... so tvc does feel somewhat recent and like it can be canceled I guess. I hope not cause the paint and everything is perfect aside whatever those hip joints are.
>>
>>10954049

>>
>>10954049
It's not ending, it just came out that Target doesn't list them in their system now after their reset, so they are likely dropping it for now. Also the hip joints are normal barbell style now like G.I. Joes used for any newly sculpted figure from 2022 onwards.
>>
>>10954049
honestly tvc should be replaced with another 1/18 line
tvc mainly appeals to 40+ gen xer's, when i was a kid i remember all sorts of different star wars lines, from the 2002 saga to the maul packaging

>>
>>10954429
yeah I’m confused why we haven’t gotten her yet, yes she will pegwarm but it’s not like that has stopped them before. In fact they easily could’ve made it a 2 pack of R5 and her and it probably would’ve been more desirable.
>>
>>10954424
This'll be a good pickup when it inevitably goes on sale
>>
>>10954424
is there any difference between this and the single R5 that’s about to be out? Seems like a pointless re release, I’ll just get this once it goes on sale as other anons have pointed out.
>>
>>10954451
The single release doesn't have the rocket boosters. Also the single one is already out and there is no release date mentioned for this set yet.
>>
>>10954430
I can't believe I am saying this, but can they stop with the random Mando's at this point? It's just lazy.
>>
>>10954431
If they did her right, I think she would be a decent seller compared to say, The Client. Like pack her in with another pit droid, because she has 3 in the show but they only gave two in that pack and load her up with tools and maybe a swappable head that shows her missing tooth. For TVC, a deluxe pack of her with all of the droids would be an instant buy for me to go with the N-1.

>>10954537
I just want a four pack of the rando mandos from the covert and I'll be good. I'm all for more repaints of them since the base figure is a good toy, but I think they are dipping into them a little too much now and are going to cause stagnation in sales like they did with Boba Fett already. And now I feel like I'm going to have to wait years to finally get a new ESB version in TVC because they had to put out every single version under the sun except the original appearance.
>>
>>10954537
I would love non stop random mandos if they were on a better buck, and they weren't fucking blue all the time. And no I don't want the hobo Mandos from the show either, but stuff like the old Entertainment Earth packs.

TVC already died when they started to re-release figures, no even on another style of cardback BUT THE SAME. I have recently bought some black series 6 inch figures and they are pretty good, but i won't collect them like i did with TVC before it got pozzed. Just picking the characters i really like.
>>
>>10953610
TVC and even the black series not being available in any stores, but only online, has been the status quo in some European countries for at least a decade. I guess it's time for Americans to know how it feels not getting a discount on highly popular figures or being able to find them for dirt cheap.
>>
>>10954777
I don’t actually buy any TVC from retail stores and haven’t for years now, but if a major US retailer with 2000 stores spread across every state stops buying cases of TVC that means TVC budget takes a hit. And that effects the future of the line whether you live in the US or not.

A bit new here, I bought a few of these black series on sale/clearance for kit bashing nad what not. I was a bit perplexed at how differently each on is built. Different size balls for the legs to go on, different pegs for the shoulders, like some are arrow shaped some have a ring around them. Just seemed really odd to have all the joints be completely different. Why do they do that. I can understand different sizes for bigger characters, but why connect completely differently?
>>
>>10956680
The Star Wars team doesn't like Star Wars and don't talk to each other outside of the streams where they try to convince us they like Star Wars.
>>
>>10956683
That makes sense. Why would the toy line be any different than the tv/movie teams.
>>
I have a black series collection but I stopped collecting those, 3.75 all the way idk if I’ll buy those epic hero figures if they’re crappy, I’ll buy the vehicles but that’s it
>>
>>10954420
Oh yeah it doesn’t have to be TVC just 3.75 scale I mean those saga legends were just as good as tvc
>>
>>10956680
A lot of lines are like that with Hasbro. The Classified Series even does it despite being a line designed around heavy reuse. For example, pretty much every single B.A.T released so far has different sized dumbbell joints for the heads even though they are all the exact same base figure.
>>
>>10956599

Overpriced, but good. The tiny holes they went with for the holsters look bad, but aren't a problem when it comes getting them in and out the way I was worried about. I'm had some issues getting the antenna to stay in the helmet and I've read about other people having issues with the helmet being too small for the neck peg, but solid figure other than that.
>>
>>10956819
AOTCbros, we eatin good tonight
>>
>>10956819
I'm still perplexed why they didn't use the mold with the triangles on the top of the helmet. For some reason it exists as far back as the Death Watch trooper figure as you can see it in the promotion pictures, same with the Airborne trooper, but neither of the actual products have that detail on the final figure. All of the Boba Fetts have it though.

It's funny, in my area TVC seems to be fairly healthy with popular characters getting snatched up fast and only your standard pegwarmers like Morgan lingering, but TBS just isn't moving and it's been that way for months. There doesn't seem to be anything anyone really wants.
>>
>>10959331
Ironically the people keeping it alive are the older fans who they hate and want to replace. They won't let it go and feel they NEED to consume all the slop even if it's literally shit.
>>
>>10959336
I don't know about everyone else but my Black Series collecting has really slowed down. When the line first started I figured I'd just get a handful of cool characters instead of trying to get everyone, so for the first year or so I just had Boba and Maul. Somewhere along the line I just slid down that slope and I ended up getting a shit ton of characters, trying to complete main casts for each movie, trying to make squads of army builders, etc and basically treating it the way I'd treated my 3.75" collection. I've had to break the habit because I'm running out of room and I've started to sell off a ton of them. Now I'm satisfied just having 2-3 standouts and maybe 2 of each of the main army builders (stormtroopers, clone troopers, b1s, etc) rather than trying to build whole squads.

I think a lot of people have the same mentality of just grabbing a few characters and not really bothering with getting an extensive collection, and by now I think Hasbro's covered the heaviest hitters and a lot of collectors aren't as interested in the more niche characters. They got their Bespin Lukes, their Jango Fetts, etc and they're not really interested in getting a bunch of cantina aliens. The line's been heading in that "we're going to make everyone we can" direction that 3.75 specializes in (historically anyway) and I don't think that many people are really on board with that.
>>
>>10959282
Deluxe TVC figures always clearance though. I can’t speak to Black Series. Literally every boxed deluxe TVC figure has eventually gone down to like $11 dollars.
>>
>>10959460

Andor shit is still pegwarming here. It's funny that they made so many figures for the show since the people raving about how good it is are the same people that think Star Wars is for babies and would never be caught dead buying toys.
>>
>>10959744
I buy Micro Galaxy Squadron + TBS and Andor is still the only good thing Disney ever did with Star Wars.
>>
>>10959744
I think Andor is great, but it doesn't lend especially well to toys. I can understand making Cassian himself, but beyond that it seemed pointless for both lines.
>>
>>10959790
>aldhani trooper (generic, not cassian)

The series was plenty toyetic, they just didn't bother, all but a couple of these weren't done in 6" and none of them were done in 3.75" even though by nature of being largely armybuilders they'd sell more copies in 3.75". I would personally buy even more than those listed, e.g. Kino, but I could see how he might theoretically be a tough action figure to sell to the masses when without any context he's just "normal guy in a weird jumpsuit", and a similar issue applies to most of the other normal civilian characters.

It just isn't what you want

To compare, the smaller Sabertooth here is 1:18 and the others are 1:12 and 1/10.
>>
>>10961811
Yeah I figured it’d be too small, oh well. It’s a shame we don’t really get any playsets/dioramas for black series.

>>
>>10961935
Relax anon, attacking someone for collecting the same series in a different scale is kinda cringe, you don't need to go there. I wouldn't say that TVC fags deserve having their figures pulled from retailers just because no one is buying them.
>>
>>10961942
Except TVC figures ARE selling. It’s the black series figures that clog up the shelves and end up getting shipped to Ollie’s and Ross in droves. TVC at least sells, I rarely see them at those discount stores.
>>
>>10961790

I don't think it would work very well, but here you go. Hallway is pretty bare bones as a playset, but I like it and I'm looking forward to filling it with the upcoming ANH figures.

Lots of good deals on BBTS today. Half tempted to pick up the Revan saber for a display with the hot toys figure, but I know I don't have the money or space for either.
>>
>>10961951
I mean I don't really care that much, I just heard that story about TVC being pulled from target or whatever it was. And honestly, it's just hasbro star wars stuff in general that hits clearance like mad. I see both TVC and TBS on clearance all the time. I don't think either of our lines are doing all that well rn lol
>>
>>10961976
Hasbro should just sell everything on Pulse, they’re overproducing everything to have it in stores and it just gets clearanced out anyways. Eventually stores are gonna stop buying it. Probably why hasbro wants out of the Disney license already.
>>
If I was in charge of the archive collection I would just look up the most expensive figures being resold on ebay/mercari etc. and rerelease those going down the list.
>>
>>10962023

>>
>>10962023

>>
>>10961917
It might be because the production runs are a lot lower for TVC now than they have been before.
>>
>>10961951
I’m a TVC guy and I think there’s less TVC presence at stores cause they order less unfortunately. You look at the Amazon numbers and TBS is kind of kicking our asses there. I think it’s cause TBS has crossover appeal to casual collectors where pretty much everybody involved in TVC is a hardcore collector. Not many dabble in TVC the way they dabble in Black Series. For me, TVC makes sense cause I’ve collected 3.75” Star Wars my whole life, why start over in a new scale? But for somebody just getting into it, TBS probably makes more sense since they get newer characters quicker and fit in with all their other 1/12 scale shit.
>>
>>10962023
I think you’d also have to take in consideration how frequently they’re selling. I sold a loose Commander Wolffe for $75 and Hasbro were selling new ones for $15 last week. Some niche characters like that demand high prices and then they get reprinted and it turns out they just barely missed the amount of demand the first time and around and what once was a rare figure gets clearanced out in droves.
>>
>>10962309
3.75" stuff in general kind of disappeared. Bandai's Shodo lines are pretty prominent, but while they appeal to collectors they're candy toys.

I miss the days of G.I. Joe, Marvel Universe, and Star Wars. I prefer smaller figures.
>>
>>10962345
I just miss when there was a wider variety of scales. I felt like it just gave toy aisles more character. A shelf full of different characters from different IP with different scales and design philosophy is more appealing to me visually than a bunch of characters that are all the same scale and done on the same style. In my head, Star Wars and Joes will always be 3.75”, Star Trek and TMNT will always be 5”, and superheroes are 6”. It just seems to make the most sense for what they are.

I think you nailed the reality of the situation. I am a long time Star Wars and as a kid, I collected POTF2 and a few of the other later lines, but I never went all in for unknown reasons. Once I really started getting back into Star Wars (after Rogue One), I decided to buy into the Black Series. I have over 155 6 inch Star Wars figures on (Black Series, SHF, MAFEX, Bandai model kits and a few other lines). 6 inch just feels right for me, even if I know I'll never get the world building of TVC. I have bought like 10 or so TVC figures over the years, but I'd never go all in like the Black Series.
>>
TVC Huyang is a nice figure but I can't help but be annoyed that his wrists aren't hinged and that the arms on the backpack aren't articulated when they absolutely should be at the elbows at least. Not to mention they give you the single training lightsaber hilt with no blade but also it can't even be held in the backpack arms since the hands aren't sculpted for it. Just some weird choices all around.

Do you have a pretty big display space? I'm not saying that it's not worth the money, because it totally could be if you like that character. Still, if he's your favorite, he looks really great.

I think the only 6” options are the Black Series one or the Figuarts one. They produced a ton of Black Series one, I can’t imagine it’s too expensive. It was before they started doing faceprinting, but the likeness is still really good for an old Black Series figure.

Why the fuck are 3.75 figures so expensive now tho? 25$ 15 years ago could get you a battle pack with five figures but now its 17$ per a normal figure and 25$ for a """deluxe""" which is really just a highly desirable character that they know they can highway rob people for and include just a couple of minuscule accessories with to try and justify its almost ten dollars difference in price point from a normal figure
>>
>>10965085

A combination of things - Disney's insane licensing fee for Star Wars, Hasbro's Dickhead CEO wanting to increase profits by 50% which meant raising prices across the board (and they are still losing revenue on partner branded toys despite this according to their recent quarterly report. They've lost a total of $100 million in revenue in the last two years between Marvel and Star Wars), increased prices in labor and global shipping, and the cherry on top that is Biden's rapid inflation.

Now why does this mean Jango has to be a deluxe figure? I really don't know. Maybe that particular sliver paint they used on him is super expensive but I don't know why they would even bother with it knowing that people are so turned off by the price point of deluxe figures that aren't actually deluxe. Especially when Din Djarin can be thrown into the mainline for a regular price and he uses the same shit.

Its started happening after the pandemic. We slowly had price creep and now it's jumped up 25 - 32 for black series, and the price you said for TVC. It's crazy. I wouldn't care if that money was going to make better figures, but time and time again we see Hasbro cheap out. The wild thing is, the Black Series has never been better, but then Hasbro is literally not painting figures that aren't "deluxe". It's wild. Like this guy said, >>10965337 I blame greed. The funny thing is, Hasbro over played their hand and it's biting them in the ass.

I hate the larger scale desu. I like my figures being around 4 or 5 inches i think 6 and 7 inches is too much for most figures i get. I know im in the minority here and most toyfags like 6 inch better but i still feel bitter over the fact that 3.75 lost the scales war so to speak

>>10965348
yeah I just stopped eating fast food a couple of years ago during the pandemic when I went to taco bell and had to pay like $15 for what cost like $5 a few years before. >>
>>10965399
>i still feel bitter over the fact that 3.75 lost the scales war so to speak
I am too but at least TVC figures themselves are really, really good now and in some ways much better than their Black Series counterparts such as Pre Vizsla. What bugs me more is that TVC collectors have funded 3/3 HasLabs now and it still doesn't feel like Hasbro wants to support the scale as much as Black Series, when we've proven that we're ready to throw down the money when it counts. They really need to just give both lines equal budgets and they'd see sales skyrocket for TVC if they start knocking out new sculpts for the mains in all the films, missing 96'ers, and making a lot of background characters that are expensive on the secondary market or are needing updates like Momaw Nadon. And now we're on the cusp of another project launching and if it is a Cantina like what's been rumored, they REALLY need to increase their figure support for it if they want people to pony up for another HasLab 8 months after funding the previous one that still hasn't even shipped yet.
>>
>>10965416
Actually, it looks like TVC shifter over to 4", as only short characters like Luke is literally 3.75", whereas storm troopers, din djarin, boba Fett, are 4" tall. Looks like all of the recent versions are 4" (my Luke isn't that new, so idk if the latest version is still 3.75" or what). Vader and revan are slightly taller.
>>
>>10965514
they're still too undersized to be 4"

I think they just stopped giving a shit and just made everything literally 3.75, since the stormclonetroopers all have removable helmets and it's the only thing making them look taller. Without helmets, they'd probably still be 3.75, same as the other figures... which i can't really state with certainty, because i haven't bought a non-helmeted non-alien figure in like a decade.
>>
>>10965725

Very fun figure to pose, and have enjoyed it for the past 4 years or so I’ve had it but that stoic face really does bring it down a bit for me. I think if I collected more 1/12th scale stuff I’d be more hesistant but since it’s a once in a blue moon thing, I’m willing to ball out for the characters I really like.

You're only proving my point that it's not 1:18.

World building is more in reference to the stuff like playsets and vehicles

It's like when i look at your posts and you somehow think proving me right makes me retarded. WUT? I just can not understand.
>>
>>10967504
Quality very slightly above accuracy, then character depth very slightly above worldbuilding, then nostalgia last because I'm not really sure what that means in this context, other than the packaging maybe, which I personally do not care about at all even though I obviously recognize that a large % of the consumerbase is only here because of it. I'd rather have a very slightly less accurate figure if it enables better quality (e.g. putting the cut in the imperial officer skirt so the hips can actually move) and I'd very very slightly rather have a wider variety of figures than more things to put them on/in, but honestly all 4 of those things are not very far from each other in terms of importance, they're all big reasons why I enjoy the line, and worldbuilding at 4th, while technically true, hugely undersells how much I value/appreciate the scale being able to have vehicles and setpieces.
>>
>>10967504
It’s tough to answer cause the terms are a bit vague. Like is quality synonymous with articulation? Cause if reducing articulation on certain characters allowed us to get them made, I’d be cool with that. If it’s not an action-oriented character, why not cut down on some POA and make it cheaper to produce? If you’re a character with a big plastic skirt piece, maybe swivel hips will do just fine instead of barbell hips. If they ever make a Frog Lady figure I don’t think it’d need to be as posable as the new Clone Body or something. But if quality is paint apps, then like no, that’s pretty important, it needs to look presentable.
>>
>>10967680
>because every one sounds retarded when you can't understand things like "scale", "math," "real life people have actual heights", and "size differences"
>helmeted stormtrooper barely hitting 4"
Tell me more of these helmets that add 0.25" height at "3.75inch scale", which translates to about 5" at 1:1 scale.
Tell me more how 4/5 figures LITERALLY clearing 4" somehow does NOT make them 4" figures now.
>ib4 you're were taking 4" literally, despite none of the lines ever actually literally being 3.75" or 4"
>Stop trying to save face on an anonymous message board, faggot.

It’s a good figure, never heard of the antenna issue before, but checking mine it is a little loose but it stays in the upright position which is where I want it and would probably never move it down. He does scale slightly bigger than black series but not too bad. He looks great.
>>
This retard was arguing about 3.75" scale in the 1:18 JoyToy thread too just filter him at this point
>>
>>10967756
>Like is quality synonymous with articulation?
On Facebook he clarified that quality is about the actual plastic of the figure and joints and presentation/material of the packaging, Basically if it feels like a good, solid toy when you open it as well as being attractive on card if you're that kind of collector.

Accuracy is more about the details being right and specifically paint applications. Such as, is it important to you that Sabine has all of her armor painted correctly if it locks her into a Deluxe pack every time or would you take simplified deco (such as the Epic Heroes figure) to put her on a standard card?
>>
>>10967874
It's easily the best looking 6" ESB figure. The rangefinder on mine is a little loose but it still stands up right unless I fiddle with it. Just be careful with it if you get one. I had mine displayed and then my toddler slammed the door to my office which made him take a little tumble and the rocket on his jetpack snapped off since it's just hard plastic with no flexibility.

>>
>>10967504
>1. World Building
The entire point of this scale, to me, is that it allows for playsets and vehicles to be a reasonable size.
>2. Character Depth
I consider this to be a part of worldbuilding. A wide variety of characters to fill out the playsets and vehicles is a necessity.
>3. Accuracy
The figures should look like they do in the films, and since others are saying that quality refers to articulation and packaging, I think that honestly a lot of figures in the line are over-articulated. There is no reason why an imperial officer or some background character like fucking Yakface needs the same level of articulation as a jedi.
>4. Quality
Articulation is important for some characters, but less important for others. They should focus on saving money where they can by using cheaper articulation on figures that you aren't expected to pose dramatically, so that those figures can have better/more paint and more accessories or soft goods. Quality of packaging doesn't matter at all to me.
>5. Nostalgia
Not even something that I think about. I wasn't alive for the Kenner days so I couldn't care less. I buy the figures for the figures themselves. The cardback packaging is neat I guess, but I would rather the line adopt a more simple packaging style and only use the bubble cards for special releases.
>>
>>10967914
Oh well in that case quality and accuracy are the most important by far. Maybe I’m just a child of the 90s, but even though I am beyond gentle with my figures, I like the knowledge that they’re durable and can take a beating. I started collecting 90s Star Trek figures this year and they just feel so much nicer than Modern figures even if they’re a bit limited in posing and maybe not as realistically sculpted.

Holy fuck, you're a retard who can't understand grade school concepts and is trying to save face on an anonymous message board.

When someone on "toy" talks about toys being X", they're referring to a scale. That means when people were talking about these figures being 3.75", they're referring to the scale being slightly below 1:18, which is also referred to as 4", since the bulk of 1:18 figures are represented by 6' (4" in 1:18) manly men that aren't manlets.

So here you are, butting in, showing off toys that are supposed to be in scale, not understanding what's going on when posting pictures of toys standing below and above 4". You don't understand what's going on and what other people are thinking about your photos, because you've been inhaling way too many paint fumes and/or were born retarded thanks to your gutter oil diet, chainsmoking, alcoholic mother living in a shit country with terrible air quality.

You simply can't understand that scale exists and how everyone of those figures aren't in 1:18 and might not be in 3.75" scale either, as every single photo in this thread has proven.
It''s biologically impossible for you to understand that nor what everyone else was talking about.
>>

>>10967983
You realize Disney doesn't pay attention to when they're getting the finger, right?
>>
>>10968671
Okay but this is still being done with their approval. It's not the rebellious act you think it is.
>>
>>10967983
>>10968717
It's become pretty common for people who don't know how this works to suddenly discover this shit, like they see Heir to the Empire in a bookstore and go WHOA THE PUBLISHERS ARE GIVING DISNEY THE FINGER without realizing Disney not only approved this but has been doing this for years.

Also all the people who think Thrawn or another EU character appearing is some act of desperation when Disney literally announced a decade ago they were going to mine stuff from the EU for the new canon. It's lazy for sure but this isn't some unexpected change.
>>
>>10968722
funny that you mention thrawn because ever since he got brought into nucanon people have been sure that it meant disney was cracking and the nucanon would be wiped away and the eu brought back and that was 8 years ago

Lego’s about to put out a UCS Barge with a Slave Leia, Slave Leia was in the Lego video game last year, Hasbro put her as an option for a Black Series fan poll a few years ago, they used Slave Leia in the Galaxy of Adventures animated shorts, they never cut the Slave Leia scenes from Disney Plus. I think the Slave Leia ban isn’t a thing anymore. I think they just want it branded as “Huttslayer” Leia now for female empowerment or some shit.
