>>11556382Looks like the Frenchie didn’t get it, thankfully
>>11556382Oof, not looking good. Such a poorly run Haslab.
Anyone get their Dash yet? I wanna see some head swaps
>>11556382Sorry Mr. Stevie, no bonus for you this year
>>11556386It’s over 6,000 now, it’s happening whether you like it or not.
>>11556391>It’s over 6,000 nowNo it isn't.
Alright here's where it is going into the last day.
>>11556397Seems pretty much guaranteed with how other Haslabs have performed in their final day, even the rancor that was seen as poorly received got several thousand its final day. Could potentially even hit Cole the Man Trebor.
>>11556397Oh that's a bad sign. Definitely not going to make it at this rate.
>>11556394Then explain this
>>11556403>photoshop retard
>>11556403Explain why it's not going to fund? Okay, well nobody actually wants it and all the tiers suck ass.
>>11556406>>11556407You can see it on Pulse for yourselves, retards. Oh look, it's gone up
>>11556382Haven't gotten Star Wars hasbro stuff since I was a kid but really tenpted to buy this.Does their EU counterpart ship out stuff nornally (actually from within the EU)? Also when is it expected to release after crowdfunding ends?
>>11556411$450 for a 1:18 vehicle? These rats are way out of their fucking minds. And anyone that falls for this is a damn retard.
>>11556413Yea Pulse ships to most European countries. Sometimes they even get stuff before the US has. The Gunship would be shipping around this time next year.
>it ain't me starts playing
They should’ve just repainted the original and made it a general release
This needs 2,000 order in the last 24 hours just to be funded We haven't even got 6100 and it's already 2 hour into the last dayLike has there been a haslab that got a 2000 order in the last minutes and that is not for the tier goals?>It's over bro...
>>11556434Giant man
>>11556434I think I remember this happening with the cantina, where people were sure it would fund but wouldn't get all the tiers, in the end it only managed to get two
>>11556452Yeah, it hit base funding a few days before the end but it didn't even unlock the first tier until the last day
>>11556444People wanted that
>>11556444>>11556484I looked up Giant Man and it looks like it's basically the same as gunship, it was almost flat for most of its run before picking up slightly and then getting a huge surge on the last day
>>11556500Don't give them the ammo they need to keep being smug little shits that they are
who's even being smug? there's hardly any enthusiasm for this thing here
>>11556507Hell, if anything people who don't even care about the gunship are going to rub it in that one sperg's face just because he wouldn't stop being weirdly hostile to anyone who said anything even remotely positive about it
>it is going up!
>>11556514rub it in that one sperg's face just because he wouldn't stop being weirdly hostile to anyone who said anything even remotely negative about it>Fixed it for ya
>>11556514I could see that working for 300 tops. 450 is just more Hasjew bullshit. Also, inflation or not, it makes that Taco Rider and his Mean Machine price looks even more stupid since there is much more here than a regular ML and a fisher price muscle car.
>>11556397>>11556500>>11556514You fucking retards. It will reach its goal "last second" no matter what. The whole crowdfunding thing is just a marketing tactic. Why are people here so gullible?
>>11556633yeah, just like the rancor
>>11556633If they spent the time and money to get it developed to the production sample stage, than I am thinking they'll make it anyway to recover that cost, and sell it as an exclusive somewhere.
>>11556641The rancor is different because it's just a big ugly monster no one wanted. People do want this ship, just not at the crowdfund price. A more mass-produced version would definitely be cheaper. And it didn't help that the campaign ran at the same time as the GI Joe Snowcat campaign.
>>11556651People wanted the Rancor too retard, just the price was ridiculous and the tiers were ass.
>>11556651it’s kind of stunning to me hasbro fails to understand how much overlap there is in the collector community despite years of doing these, they really should never have 2 haslabs running at the same time, and they should check to make sure Mattel isn’t planning to run one either
>6,214>Refresh>6,213Heh>IT DID NOT HAPPENSure thingUnless somebody throw 800 orders to it and push the number up to 7,000 around noon I really not seeing it fundedIt's literally taking one step back for every two steps forward and time is running out
>>11556654SOME people wanted the Rancor. After the big-ass Unicron and the even-bigger Jabba's sail barge, I wanted a big-ass AT-AT or Falcon.
>>11556654>just the price was ridiculous and the tiers were ass.So history repeats itself
>>11556509You can't rub it in anyone's face, you're getting an overpriced mess of a release that doesn't come with any figures worth a damn. Oh but STICKERS! HEY, at least you'll get STICKERS! So proud of you.
>>11556662Are you saying for TVC or Black Series? Those things would be entirely too large for 1/12.
>>11556673The Khetanna is 4 feet long. An AT-AT could be that size, and doesn't have to be perfectly-proportioned as it would look better than the 1980 original.
Nice to see the gunship is going to fund so it’s not the death of TVC Haslabs, hopefully next year they’ll give us the sandcrawler. Here’s a custom I saw online that gives an idea of how big it could be and look next to figures. Dimensions are 3 feet 9 inches long, 22 inches tall, and 15 feet wide. Not sure if this is perfect scale to 3.75, but it’s a size I’d be happy with.
>>11556689Versus the current largest official sandcrawler
How come you guys act like this with every Haslab? Doesn't it get old?
>>11556689It's not going to fund. You're coping to an unhealthy degree. It should tell you something that it took THIS LONG to even get to where it is and still fail.
>>11556697hype hype, aren't you excited!!!We haven't had this much discourse since the cantina!!>>11556689Nice troll
>>11556693My only worry about the sandcrawler is that they seem to be making the Haslabs the centerpiece of a wave of releases with the “Return to” format and they already did Return to Tatooine with the cantina. I’m going to assume next year will be another OT release and probably not ANH since 2027 will be the 50th, so probably Return to Hoth, Bespin, or Endor. Hopefully Bespin as a large Cloud City playset is LONG overdue. This leaves the 50th in 2027 as the potential sandcrawler haslab and it would make sense since it’s probably the most requested vehicle for a haslab, at least from what I’ve seen in the Facebook groups.
>>11556710>Return to Endor Ewok Village
>>11556689>>11556693That shit should be a backdrop paint at most.
>>11556706Oof
>>11556706I guess others were right and they're going through with it anyway even though it failed to meet 8,000 orders. Well in the long run it'll be that much more rare and potentially-valuable.
>>11556722Nah, a proper Sandcrawler is the last thing we need to truly have a complete Tatooine display. It’s one of the few major OT ships/vehicles that has never been done justice ever in my opinion.
Sandcrawler is a boring brown brick. And no one cares about background droids and Jawas which will just clog up mainline slots and pegwarmHoth and Bespin can both be done adequately with $60 hallways. Ewok village is boring and lame and Ewoks are lame and pegwarmersBasically Haslab is over. That's why each one has been losing steam. There's not much that really justifies being a Haslab AND would be something 8-15k people would be interested in paying hundreds of dollars for. As much as I hate new media, I think at this point Haslabs should be tied to new media to ensure success. But that would require new media to not suck and have some vehicles or locations with kino designs that people would want toys of
>>11556733Hate the Sandcrawler and Ewok Village all you want, but I guarantee that they both would already be funded right now.
>>11556733Open "hallways" suck. Well really all open playsets suck because there's no sense of defined space that give you a sense of what the playset is supposed to represent. That's why Castle Grayskull is such a legendary playset. >Basically Haslab is over.Far from true. Star Wars is getting tougher to sell thanks to Disney's mishandling of the IP, so they just need to be more careful, and sell stuff the nostalgiafags really really want.
I just realized next years haslab will probably be something from the mando movie as long as that does well. Unfortunate.
>>11556742>next years haslab>nextLol
>>11556742>as long as that does welllol lmao even
We’re close to 6,500 now
>>11556804It's nowhere near close you retard
>It won't get funded>It will get funded but no tier goalyou are here>It will get tier goal 1 but not 2>Ok it will get to tier 2 but definitely not 3>HASBRO FUDGED THE NUMBER!
>>11556804Yeah it's not looking good.
>>11556811It's not getting funded. I'm ready to drink your tears when your precious prequel ship crashes and fails.
I LOVE HASBRO AND I LOVE THE PREQUELS I'M SO EXCITED TO SEE THIS FUND AND GET ALL TIERS HA HA HA I'M SO HAPPY BEING STUPID
>>11556811Why are the tiers so bad?
>>11556817THE TIERS ARE GREAT JUST LIKE EVERYTHING HASBRO DOES THEY'RE SO AMAZING I LOVE THEM SO MUCH
Is the haslab schizo finally losing it?
>>11556821Who's that?Is he in favor or against haslabs?
>>11556822I LOVE HASLABS AND I LOVE HASBRO AND I LOVE DISNEY WARS AND I LOVE THE PREQUELS I WISH I COULD MARRY THEM
>>11556821Oh yeah, nobody sane would defend it
>>11556821He's been throwing a fit about this Haslab since it started, what's weird is that there's very little positivity here about the gunship but even reporting basic facts like saying that it got X number of additional backers on a given day gets this guy to come at you like you're a shill, also occasionally he'd just straight up deny that it got any backers
NOBODY HATES THIS HASLAB EVERYBODY LOVES IT INCLUDING ME I'M SO HAPPY THAT IT'S GOING TO BE FUNDED I'M SO EASY TO PLEASE
>>11556828Haslabs should be for huge playsets/vehicles, not for slightly improved versions of past retail mass produced vehicles.
>>11556831Okay? I'm not disagreeing but what does that have to do with what I wrote?
>>11556828You are a shill tho
>>11556733>>11556738Hallways are shit. All haslabs have been varying degrees of shit. The two best ones were the sailbarge and the razorcrest but they still left a lot to be desired. Where are the features? Where are the lights? The big Falcon had:>Light up engine with hyperdrive jump and motion control engine swooshing sounds>controllable gun turret with integrated moving seat, matching sounds and firing missles all baked into a single lever function>dual controllable radar dish and floating jedi training droid > OC escape pod craft with firing missles and launching sound fx>headlights and cockpit lights>MOTORIZED lowering ramp with lights and sounds>med bay bed that integrated with accessories from other figures, you can plug luke's stump arm cover in>Illusion of more space on the ship with opening doors into a falsely extending hallways, storage area for accessories>dejark table with illuminated monsters and sounds>multiple hidden floorboard smuggling chambers>even more shit I'm not mentioningNot a single Haslab has had anything of the sort, and these features were all over large, detailed releases like the Falcon, AT-AT, MTT, and various republic vehicles. You can't make the argument that these were kids toys and now we have "super detailed collector display pieces". These toys were both without missing a step. And now we can't even get a $300, 400, 500 ship to give you so much as light up engines, let alone anything else mentioned. Literally the only worthwhile design elements in the haslabs:-Sail barge kitchen area-Sail barge jail cell with alien skeleton-Razor Crest weapons locker-Razor Crest toilet-Razor Crest carbonite blocks-Ghost Phantom 2 ship that docksThat's it. And everything interesting in the RC is just screen accurate stuff, so it's obvious inclusions. So between multiple fuckhuge, expensive releases they can't even come close to matching the features of a single ship playset from the previous decade.
>yakface predicts it will fundschizostatus?
I don't care if it funds or not. It's overpriced and underwhelming. TVC has become an incredibly boring line.
>IT WON’T FUUUUUUNDDD>I don’t care if it funds or notInteresting how the tables have turned
>>11556872No, it won't fund. Stop being a schizo.
>>11556742I think they're probably going to skip out on a TVC HasLab due to the slower performance of these last two and probably do something like a made-to-order Pulse exclusive rerelease of the Razor Crest instead. They've already done it with the Ghostbusters Proton Pack and it would make sense as the ship returns in the film. They could include Zeb in his New Republic flight suit as the pack-in figure, remove the carbonite slabs, do some different weathering, etc.
>>11556872>he spent $500 on no figures and STICKERSlol
>>11556883>nobody is backing this! anyone who says it has backers is lying!>everyone who disagrees with me is backing it!Which is it?
So now that its funding is all but guaranteed, what are the chances we hit tiers? I feel like 1st tier could happen, but not sure about 2 and 3.
>>11556892It's not going to fund and you're not getting anything prequelcuck.
>>11556892It's not getting funded man
This piece if shit is more than likely to fund (without any tiers) which is a shame because it’ll just go to show how much retards are willing to overpay for this kind of shit in present day present time.
>>11556892Zero
>>11556899Yes, welcome to Haslab, is this your first time?
>>11556899It's definitely setting a bad precedent.
>6,712 nowBut it’s still not funding, right?
>>11556892>20% bigger!>just 400% pricer!kek, fucking RETARDS
>>11556899It's not like the old gunships are any better in price right now
>>11556382I'm thinking it'll fall into "we'll do it anyway because it's close enough, but you don't get shit with it."
>>11556939>hasbro matching second hand scalper pricesOUR SAVIOR
>>11556930There's a sucker born every minute
>>11556939True. Prequel stuff is managing to actually be worth something. Yeah I know it's a shocker.>>11556899Eh. Aesthetics sell. None of the figures are worth "unlocking," and don't incentivize backing the project like the tiers should. There's absolutely no motivator that works a well as the Rattler Baroness did. So it's not that the LAAT/i is a problem because it's not. It's that the add-ons just aren't appealing enough to motivate people into paying the price for it.
Hold the line. If this succeeds all vehicles will be overpriced Haslabs.
>>11556971Too late for that. We're in $200 sticker territory
It's not backing you fucking retards. This isn't a runaway success kickstarter with a bunch of crazy new stretch goals where funds keep pouring in until the last second. It needs to be hitting 125 new backers per hour for the rest of the time. It will slow down once people start to go to bed so if it isn't backed by 9-10 PM so it really needs to be significantly higher than that even. Good, fuck this boring hunk of shit. I'm so sick of haslabs that get mogged by 15 year old toys.
>>11556971All big ones will be no matter what because regular retail stores don't like committing that much toy-shelf space for anything that doesn't say "LEGO" on it.
>>11556977There’s a huge surge in backers during the last few hours, this happens every haslab. It’s pretty much already funded with where it is at now. Don’t be stupid.
>>11556971Uh where you been, chief? It's been that way since 2020.
>>11556977They didn't exactly produce good motivators. When I think of this vehicle I think of Yoda and Anakin in it chasing Dooku, not these other three.
>>11556993They don’t want to lock core characters behind a haslab
I am disillusioned with humans and their obsession with plastic, to them placing an outsized value, unreasonable, on toys that will not and cannot live up to their price tag except in the warped minds of those addicted to plastic more than quality toys.
>>11556983A few hours ago it was 6,044 as seen here:>>11556411Now it's at 6,869. That's not the biggest surge, BUT it just might barely make it pass if that pace holds until midnight.
>>11556995Why not? Have they forgotten about variants?
>>11556411Oh look, you're a shill
>>11556997That’s why I’m slowly bowing out of collecting. I understand we’re all mentally ill but this level of absurdity and glee to overpay is destroying any reasonable value proposition in the future. We all need help.
>>11557020Ther's probably gonna be a lot of that in between now and midnight as Hasbro and already-committed backers make that last push to get it funded. At any rate it's at 6,963. It's almost 7k.
>>11557025It's not going to fund, get it through your fucking skull
>>11557025Good, more ammo to laugh at you for supporting the line getting worse
Over 400 dollars for a little ship. Crazy.
We’ve officially broken 7,000, less than a thousand to go. How are we going to celebrate?
>>11557029I posted what you replied to. I have no skin in this game and am just being a tourist. I am just curious to see if it can make it with being this close. The chance of any unlocks is absolute zero, which is just as well since the ulocks are all shit. But there's a chance that the core offering might make it, albeit a shrinking chance.
>>11557039It's probably not as small it looks. The original Ep.2 one is a fairly decent size, and this one would no doubt be bigger.
>>11557040I'll make sure there's nothing but negativity till the thing ships
>>11557040By taking hasbros whole shaft and not just the tip.
Reminder from last thread.
>>11557059And you'll gain nothing.
If the ship and figures are scaled correctly, then it's a big size whether it be for 3-3/4" or 6" figures. It's at least 2 feet long. That's obvious.
>>11557060I’ll have a kickass clone gunship, what will you have?
>>11557040By making you regret ever posting this

>>11557079How is it any worse than this?
>>11557088Jesus why is it so thin?
>>11557091Because vehicles were rarely proportioned right in SW vehicles.
It broke 7,100 with 8 hours left. So there's a chance that it'll make it, albeit it'll be close.
>>11557096It’s not really thin at this point, base funding is definitely happening

suicide anon here standing by to kms if this funds live on the threaddemand better from your toys and better from the companies you buy them from, this thing is garbage.
>>11557144Please don’t actually do that over this, but you should just admit you were wrong and apologize for trolling the thread for weeks
>>11557132Honestly it works best to have the new one, the old one, and the MGS. You could get a cool forced perspective shot with them all hanging together
>>11557077Not a massive SW fan (I enjoyed the prequels as a kid and I do appreciate the visual design from the series as a whole but that's about it) but speaking as someone that has a weird nostalgia for a lot of the prequel designs in particular, the gunship is really close to being awesome, but man the "bubble turrets" on the side of the nose don't really do it for me. I know realismfagging in Star Wars (or sci-fi/fantasy in general) is kinda lame but they push the thing past my suspension of disbelief threshold. If it didn't have those on it or if they were recessed into shrouds on the fuselage I'd like it a lot more. Maybe that's my inner planefag talking though, I used to work at an aircraft museum.Anyway the toy looks pretty cool for what it is and I hope it funds.
>>11557145You'll get no apology from anyone. You deserve the Haslab being shit on.
>>11557132Based. I don't need my figgers to interact with their ships directly since I'm not 7 anymore. MGS ships are great for forced perspective shots where the ships serve as backgrounds for Black Series figures. Sorry that the truth hurts, but it doesn't make it less true.
>>11557149It seems like you can remove the bubble turrets. I don't remember hearing in the videos I've seen if they've said that but there is this image on the campaign page.
It'll make it. They've gained 100 backers per hour for the past few hours.
The future of Hasbro hangs in the balance. They will learn nothing, and it will be the fault of anyone who buys this.
>>11557182Next time they'll go "Rattler" and make sure the tiers contain something more attractive so the next one doesn't struggle.
>>11557180There are a lot of very stupid Star Wars "fans"
I'M SO GLAD THIS IS GRTTING FUNDED I LOVE HASBRO SO MUCH I WANT YUMMY HASCUMMY IN MYCTUMMY
>11557182The project limping to the finish line will still look bad. They can't seem to make these tiers things that people actually want. I'm not going to pretend the transformers haslabs are perfect since they make the first tier something that should be included by default, but those fuckers have consistently backed their Haslabs all the way since Victory Saber.
Coleman Trebor is officially on the table, let’s make it happen boys! You can always back one and cancel within 14 days too once it backs.
>>11557154I don't know what was supposed to be hurtful about this post. That's what YOU like to do with your toys, which is fine. Other people do like to have their figures interact with vehicles and environments. There is no wrong answer here.
>>11557195It taking this long to "fund" is not a good look either. Interest in Star Wars is getting worse and worse.
>>11557197Nothing is on the table befausr this isn't getting funded you assclowm
>>11557199Most SW shit is clearance-shelf rotter crap, but there's still a few things out there that stoke the old-school fans enough to spend some money.
>>11557198That TVC is dead and buried like it should be and Black Series is the better line with MGS to compliment it.
>>11557199It took the Snow Cat until the last day to fund as well. Same with Giant Man. This isn't really an unusual thing. It's more to do with oversaturation with HasLabs than with the brand itself.
Would you back a Haslab Sandcrawler? Why or why not?
>>11557205I don't even have room for a BMF I definitely don't have room for a sandcrawler
>>11557202If TVC were dead then it wouldn't have funded multiple HasLabs
>>11557205No because I'm a zoomer and only want things ftom my precious prequels
>>11557204Snow Cat isn't as fun a vehicle as other Joe Haslabs. Not terrible, but I saw plenty of people thinking it would barely fund.
>>11557205did we need the pajeet playing with it?
>>11557195The solution is to stop making tiers. Offer the product at a fair price. Almost everyone knows all the tiers are baked into the price by now. Which means every project that doesn't fully get all tiers is even more of a rip off than it already was.
>>11557205If this funds, Sandcrawler would be over $1000
>>11557211Oh boy do I have news for you, the sandcrawler actually appeared in the phantom menace and more prominently in attack of the clones!
>>11557216Plenty of real Star Wars fans would gladly pay that. It's only prequel zoomies that don't have money to fund their garbage tier trilogy.
>>11557216And starwars faggots would double dip.
>>11557219When did being proud of overpaying for products become a cult?
>>11557205I would if it had:>various lights>optional sounds>mechanical functions, like magnetic bits to pick up droids and a working conveyor belt somewhere inside>came with enough parts to act as a mobile droid factory, with of course plenty of additional droid figures and jawas available as well. I would not if it:>was like every other haslab and was featureless garbage whose only selling point is a million removable panels.

First time checking this thread since this morning. Crazy how you guys made 150 comments of literally>it's not funding>yes it is>no it's not>yes it is>no it's not>yes it is>no it's not
Hasbro is moving to Boston and you're paying for it with this Haslab
>>11557267It's a pretty terrible Haslab. Let's be honest. And people are going to spend $500 and get nothing for it. Meanwhile GI Joe gets everything always.
>>11557269I think there's a huge difference between understanding that this is a bad deal for the price and believing it shouldn't fund vs outright denying reality and insisting that anyone who says the numbers are going up (which is easily verifiable) is imagining it
>>11557269>Meanwhile GI Joe gets everything always.Except figures in its best scale. :'(
>>11557281O rings suck
>>11557269Lets be real, most haslabs are terrible. I don't really feel like more than a few have actually been decent values.>>11557289O ring is based.
>>11557267Yes it is
>>11557269>Meanwhile GI Joe gets everything always.except 1/12 vehicles like the original toyline, or 1/12 scale transformers crossover vehicles
>>11557289O rings do suck, yes, but G.I. Joe existed in 1:18 without O rings for a long time.
Number has stalled, it's not funding
>>11557311There's a ton of cancellations
>>11557289>>11557305I like the O-ring figures. The only flaw is I wish they'd make the legs and only the legs a tiny bit longer to even out the proportions.
>>11557311It's over 7,500 with 6 hours left. It'll make it. >>11557269GI Joe seems to be Hasbro's hot brand right now. They even sold the hell out of Cold Slither, which surprised me.
>>11557315Why so?
>>11557320Correction: it's now over 7,600 with 6 hours left
It's above 7600. It's over. Reason lost. Plastic won. As it always does.
I just measured and the Gunship is about an inch longer than the 3 Cantina alcoves I have set up on my table right now. That's quite big. Didn't even both with the width of the full wingspan.
>>11557326Yeah, again, a ton of very stupid Star Wars "fans." Same rot that supported the Sequels.
Coleman Trebor, here we come!
>>11557334Nope
>>11557334What would be a reasonable price to flip him for? $50?
>>11557334I laugh every time.
>>11557341Why would you scalp something?
>>11557341If you want to follow Hasbo's lead, always ask an extra 20% more than what you think the item is worth
>>11557330Man, I’m really going to have to shuffle some shit around so it can fit up my ass.
>>11557341Considering we're not going to hit the tier for him I think you can charge any price you like.
>>11557320>GI Joe seems to be Hasbro's hot brand right now. They've handled it much better than Star Wars or Transformers, despite it not having the media to carry it. I don't really care that much about G.I. Joe or Classified in particular (I'd probably collect a modern 1:18 line if it hadn't died) but when you compare it to how hard Mattel fumbled Masterverse or how Hasbro themselves have often dropped the ball with The Black Series and The Vintage Collection it's kind of impressive what they've managed to pull off. I'm sure the line has its typical Hasbro limitations and frustrations; I wouldn't know. But from the outside looking in it's the best stuff Hasbro is making right now.
>>11557341No less than $80 if you sell at the right time, Greedo's going for about $75 and they explicitly confirmed he's getting re-carded later, whereas if Coleman is backed you can pretty much guarantee he's never getting reissued, so his price should be closer to Wuher/Nabrun, if not higher since there will be less Colemans than Wuhers or Nabruns (but also less demand, so it might just balance out)
>>11557356>if Coleman is backed you can pretty much guarantee he's never getting reissuedI would not put it past hasbro to reissue him almost exactly the same minus one accessory on a different card, they did it it with yakface, they did it with cobra commander, they'll do it again
>>11557366Sometimes they are specific with their language though. Like they said specifically the Tonnikas and Wuher were exclusive to the Haslab. But Greedo and Nebrun were on exclusive cardbacks only, so they could leave room for reissues, which we pretty much saw with the Cantina Adventures 4-pack having Greedo as a repaint.
>>11557354GI Joe makes it to shelves, too! Star Wars seems impossible to stock. I know it doesn't sell, but fucking Christ.
You're not getting Coleman It's not getting funded
>>11557373It's too late, Obiwan, Palpatine has the high ground.
>>11557374So, it was funded or not?
>>11557377No because that Hascuck is delusional
Yeah it’s funding with zero tiersHope you guys like hasbro stretching your assholes
>less than 300 backers needed Yup it's happening. I wonder if the seething will be as bad as when Giant Man funded
>>11557382It's not funding you retard
>>11557383Crazy to think giantman was cheaper
>>11557383No, we just get to laugh at what massive losers you are for backing something so poorly done.
I always judge things by points of articulation. How many does this plastic garbage heap have? Less than a Marvel Legend?
>>11557391It’s over engineered actually
if it comes in shy of only a hundred or two and anywhere in between or less, do you reckon they'll still do it? is there a precedent for haslabs coming close to the goal but falling a little short? not something I'd toss money at but im curious about where hasbro goes with it if they think it might still be profitable, or do they shitcan it completely?
>>11557391>2 Bubble turrets with horizontal swing and up and down hinge>2 Wing turrets with 360 rotation>2 ball jointed nose canons>1 ball jointed chin canon>2 Rotary missile belts that spin>2 moveable bay doors>1 moveable rear ramp>1 working cockpit hatchAnd if you want to count them as articulation>1 removable storage hatch>4 removable armor panels>Removable wing and engine>Removable seats in the cargo bay
>>11557267no it's not
>>11557402It's never happened. The rancor came really close and Hasbro still just let it fail rather than considering it "close enough" and making it anyway
>>11557405So a bunch of nothing that they claim are extras
>>11557412It's currently at 7,859 backers with a little under 5 hours left. It'll make it.
>>11557415I mean, it functions in the way the ship is depicted as doing so. What else do you want? It's not a Transformer that's going to sprout arms and legs.
>>11557405Still less than an ML. I wouldn't really count the seats and removable stuff as POA just like I don't count removable accessories, etc as POA
>>11557416You're delusional
>>11557422It just reached 7,900 with plenty of time to spare. It's making it. There just won't be any tiers which is fine because they suck anyway.
>>11557423You're not getting anything. Its going to fail.
>>11557421Why are you even comparing it to a Marvel Legends in the first place? It's a ship...
>>11557429see>>11557391>I always judge things by points of articulation. As you can probably guess I don't buy many vehicles. Might as well buy a statue or 3D print something instead most of the time.
>>11557349Is it scalping if it's just one item? I don't want him and would like to recoup some money on the gunship. I don't see why I should just give him away when he's a limited and exclusive item that people who didn't get the gunship might be willing to pay a premium for. If someone had to pay $500 to get that figure normally, I think it's reasonable to have to pay more than $17 to get it on the secondary market.>>11557356Interesting, I haven't looked at the prices for those. I don't want to get too greedy with it though. Ideally all three would've unlocked and I would've gotten rid of them at like $100 or something for all 3
>>11557431I just don't understand that logic. Vehicles are all different. They aren't going to have a standard number of joints the same way a human figure would.
>>11557391>>11557431Would you measure points of articulation on a die-cast car? Or a baseball bat? Don't be retarded. Or just stick with your marvel legends and don't ask retarded questions about things you don't even care about
Only forty five backers to go. I wonder if that anon still is going to an hero.
>>11557425It's lacking 37 backers right now with 4 hours to go. I hope you are right tho, that would be hilarious
And it's funded. Welp that was fun. See ya next Haslab you filthy animals.
>>11557423But you're paying more for a bad toy
>I'm looking at the Haslab site right now... With 25 backers to go

>>11557449>tfw 8k people will pay 450 bucks + taxes, shipping, tariffs, whatever, for this ship that have been sold a thousand times in the past - and you bet they have all of them already.Astounding
>>11557452Oh big baby got his $500 STICKERS! WOOPDEE DOO!
>>11557455Yes. Now make due on your promise.
>>11557452You're why SW has sucked so hard lately
>throwing a temper tantrum because a toy no one is forcing you to buy has been fundedY'all are a bunch of literal babies.
>>11557439>Would you measure points of articulation on a die-cast car? Or a baseball bat?I don't buy die-cast cars or baseball bats.
>>11557460Hasbro will keep raping you
>>11557435It's not scalping when it's a made-to-order item, you're not lowering the available supply by buying/selling it, it's the opposite effect in this case where you buying and then selling it directly hurts the overall price by increasing supply. I wanted the cantina diorama but really didn't care about the figures because I'm never gonna own every single patron and I'd rather fill it out with troopers, so the end result is I get to recover some of the cost of the set and other people get to spend less than the $400/$500 cost of the haslab for the figure(s) they wanted. It's completely incomparable to, say, buying out every single Stormtrooper 3-pack off Pulse or whatever, you're not denying anyone the ability to buy it directly from hasbro for a lower price than the secondary market.
>>11557452Congratulations to those getting it. It's at 8,053 now. Fuck the tiers. Those figures suck.
>>11557467Eat a dick anyone getting it. You're a bunch of lardass pigs swallowing up the slop poured out.
>>11557466Don't forget the Rattler where the figures sell for such high prices that you got the Rattler for free.
>>11557469
Ugh fine I guess I'll buy it. I was really hoping it wouldn't fund since I was on the fence about getting it anyways. If it had been $100 cheaper I would have bought it without even thinking but the price just didn't seem worth it. If a year from now I don't end up wanting to open it I can just resell it for $1000.
>mfw -$518>for a big ass thing I don't have space for>from a dead brand I barely still care aboutMan I'm like not hyped at all that it funded. >>11557470That's happening right now with the cantina, at least if you bought the standard edition, but I wouldn't assume that trend will hold forever, especially later once Greedo's reissued. The staggered shipping of this thing is putting a lot of work in to artificially reduce the amount of supply that hits eBay all at once, the 5 figures' combined price is almost definitely gonna take a dive once all the supply is out there and the most dedicated collectors have already bought theirs. It could climb again in a few years, especially for the Tonnikas, but honestly I'd rather just get my money now if I can and use it for something else rather than gambling on the future, since again the 'point' for me wasn't to treat this like an investment, I just wanted a discount on the set (which, if I'm very very lucky, might become 100% off)

>>11557507Yeah, the supporters are nutjobs
In 20-30 years if you put that $450 in a 401k you'd have quite a large sum. But yet, the howl of the plastic called you.
Alright now that we've passed 8k, I'd like to derail the ceaseless haslab shitflinging for a moment and instead talk about the newest 3.75" aliexpress clones; I loved this design as a kid so I grabbed a team of these immediately when they went up, and once again the paint is very nice, not a lot of it obviously but the detail on the mythosaur skull is super sharp. Surprised that the baby yoda was actually included and not just in the listing photo for reference/scale, but I'm not gonna complain, I don't know which official product this one came from but it's a lot better than the only one I had before from the first deluxe mando release, and I was never gonna get another one otherwise.
>>11557516Isn't Ali stuff going to get tariffed and thus not be worth it?
>>11557516Fuck off bootlegger. We don't want your filth
>>11557517Nothing's changed too recently with aliexpress tariffs as far as I know, it's been a 30% fee for a while now, which pushes these to be just barely below the cost of official figures. It's not good, I really miss the pre-tariff pricing, but it's not the prohibitively expensive price-tripling it was at the start of the tariff mess.
>>11557520Some guy once told me--that when Hasbro is charging $450 for something that came out 2 decades ago in stores for much less--the fans are the ones doing the best work.

>>11557563pretty doubtful
>>11557563Yeah I don't think it's getting any more big surges in the next 2 hours, so tiers are pretty much out of the question
>>11557549There's no surprise fees or whatever if that's what you mean, like I said here >>11557526 the price isn't what I wish it was but at ~$16 per figure it's still doable, unless something's about to change again that I'm not aware of, which I really hope isn't the case.
>>11557563Awful Haslab
I will be the bigger man here You wonI was wrong saying it won't be funded. Enjoy your gunship But>pyrrhic victory I get the feeling we will never see any mid to large vehicle sets in retail ever again. Not getting the full tiers doesn't help either If this doesn’t succeed, I can see Hasbro bring out the old toolings and sell the old “classic” larger vehicle/playset during the holiday season occasionally Now? Even if Hasbro doesn't want to do it, they are probably forced to by Disney to come up with only marginally better sets than the old one but now in Haslab form and price. In honesty, at $550, would you say this is twice as good as the old 2013 set (even if you inflate inflation price at $200)? And the suggestion that the next haslab items should be tied to the mando film- isn’t this saying that Star Wars as a franchise is no longer competitive in the “market of toy aisle” and it can only survive in hardcore collector market? Is that a good thing? Is getting “GI JOEd” something to be celebrated? I guess this is just a reflection of the current state of Star Wars.>Just 2 hours to go and it still struck in the 8XXXit would be hilarious it fail by the deadline because people cancel their orders when it is clear the tiers wont be hit
I guarantee that once these crybabies see that the tiers aren't being unlocked you'll see mass cancelations
have we ever gotten a number for how many individuals actually back these? i've seen comments of people bragging about multiples (most to try scalp them afterwards i assume) but it'd be interesting to see how many actually just buy to collect, for instance you can the ghost being sold for less than the retail price relatively easy
Honestly they should just say fuck it and rerelease the sail barge again.
>>11557637They'd go bankrupt
>>11557675Why?
/swg/ I like the LAAT, should I back this HasLab
>>11557699If you've got the money and want the best version of it ever made, then yes.
>it’s over 9,000 going into the final hourCan we hit tier 1?
>>11557700So not this
9120 motherfuckers will spend 500$ on this shit.
>9,356Is it happening? Coleman Trebor, come home…
>>11557623There weren't a lot of people in this thread who were excited about it, I think the consensus early on was that everyone knew this was a bad deal and the fact that it had such slow momentum over the entire course of the run meant that the wider collector community agreed. Even if we wanted to teach Hasbro a lesson, historically whenever their plans have failed they always take the wrong lesson. If this had failed, they would reflect on it and rather than correctly realize that they were asking too much for something people already had a "good enough" version of, they probably would've decided that collectors just don't like [prequels/geonosis/clone wars/large vehicles].I think the only consolation here is that Hasbro might see that this wasn't a roaring success and that might lead them to at least be more cautious. As it is we're already in "collectors will pay $100-200 for something we would've sold for $40 two decades ago" territory and have been for a long time, and I don't think the Haslab failing would've convinced Hasbro to stop doing that. We're kind of just in a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation with this line.
>>11557710Then why don't you enlighten us all as to what that would be.
>9,500GO GO GO
>>11557623Fuck off. They didn't win shit. They only hasted things getting worse for the line
>>11557745Worse in what way? Making it a viable line for Hasbro to keep investing in?
>>11557747>viableIt hasn't been viable in forever. They aren't investing in it now! They're cutting paint apps and making you pay more! Star Wars is a burden to them.
I didn't even back this but what about this particular Haslab is worse than the previous TVC ones? I remember people hating on the Ghost but I don't remember this weird "this is going to kill the line!" mentality. It seems like almost everything people are predicting will be a consequence of this are things that have already happened.
>>11557751Every company has cut back on paint apps you dingus. It's the only way to keep toys profitable right now, otherwise we'd be paying even more than we already are. It's not 2007 anymore.

Now the rebels have a prisoner. They all agree Force users should stick together and they should rescue the jedi captured by the Imperials.
They were all friends once, before the dark times.
>>11557759No it isn't. All three tiers were shit figures, and even if they had been reached all the value would still be in the vehicle itself as well as the two cline troopers.
>>11557985*clone.>>11557816No it won't. I think next time they'll make more of an effort to produce tiers that motivate buyers more. Face it: the Baroness being a tier-3 unlock helped sell the fuck out of the Rattler. Hasbro will learn from that and produce better motivators for SW next time. But one reality they will run into across the board for all Haslab projects is space: even the richest collectors only have so much room for large vehicles. So sooner or later Haslab projects will have tog et smaller.
Star Wars is such a dead brand, it doesn't even have 10,000 fans left
>>11557998The "big money buyers" are Gen-Xers who have wallets the size of their nostalgia. But overall SW went from a movie series that had fans lined up around the block, to low-rated streaming TV shitshows that do more to give youtubers content to rip apart than anything else. It's sad to see what was once te bigggest movie and toy property fall like this, but it did fall thanks to wokeness.

Had to go for it! Gave the hair a red recolor, and added some much needed facial hair. Redid it twice but I think I'm happy where it's at now. I also swapped his feet out with some slightly larger boots (no idea who they came from) just to kind of hunk up his proportions a little.
Everyone on social media is celebrating the gunship getting funded. But isn't it a big L that not a single tier was unlocked? All that money and you don't get anything with it except 2 pilots and some boring door panels. Every other Haslab has a lot more "play features". Not gonna lie bros, I think I am already regretting backing this thing… Like I could have gotten a Nintendo switch or something instead>>11558339>>11558342Looks good
How low has anyone see the mando cruiser hallway go from retailers? I want to get one or two, but 50 ish pounds for one feels a bit much still.
>>11558458I think you won’t regret it once you actually get it in hand. And you really would rather have a switch…? There’s not even any good games for it yet
>>11558466I haven't seen it come down at all, in fact I've seen it only go up. I've been wanting a second one so I've been keeping an eye on it. I'm afraid it's going to be like the Endor bunker where they only did a small run so most retailers aren't sitting on a huge stockpile like they were with the Nevarro Cantina, so you won't see it really go for less than MSRP. Hopefully some holiday sales will happen soon and it might get knocked down to like $40.
>>11558466I think $46 or $48 on Amazon US. Seems like recent play sets haven’t been going on deep discount like carbon freeze chamber or tantive iv>>11558470>There’s not even any good games for it yetOh really? Idk I just saw people were hyped for the new one. But $500 can buy a lot, can't help but think about the opportunity cost or whatever
>>11558458Can't say I'm feeling that same way. I'm actually more excited for it than I was before. I was on the fence about backing it for most of the campaign but now I'm glad I got it.
Is the Black Series TPM Anakin known for being a bit shit? I bought him for cheap 'cuz I wanted a Jake Lloyd figure to go with Mafex Terminator if I can find one (no prizes for guessing why) but he kiiiiinda sucks. I expected the knees and elbows to be restricted but the pelvis falls apart at the slightest provocation and the face, woof. Maybe I shouldn't be expecting Figuarts quality faces from a Western retail toy but it is a shame given that was the whole reason I bought him.
>>11558490All you need is a Sinbad figure.
>>11557059>Campaign succeeds>Annoying ass troll disappearsOh so did he actually go through with it?
>>11558025It's not going to be worth more. The sail barge? YesThe LAAT people can still get previous iterations of for cheaper. The Darth Vader Tie Fighter for $120 is just as bad and will have people going after the 90s version
>>11558458Buyers remorse is a bitch but I'm sure someone on the BTS board would be willing to take it off your hands.
>>11557864>>11557867>>11557869>>11558339>>11558342cool stuff, anons
>>11558525No you're still a piece of shit.
>>11558807but you insisted the haslab wasn't going to make it and you got mad anyone posted a chart or said it was gaining backers
More Pew Pew Mech Suits ! ! !
>>11558807And now I'm a piece of shit with a Gunship that you insisted would never fund.
i want Dash in TVC so much bros
>>11558903Me too. He's not even on Yakface's rumor list so I doubt it's going to happen anytime soon, if at all.
>>11558903It's not impossible. We made Heir to the Empire recently.Keep watching my friends (wink)
>>11558921how sick would it be if they did a Shadows 3-pack like the HTTE one?only problem is the HTTE one had two figures on the Imperial officer buck and I can't think of any Shadows figures that would be able to leverage an existing sculpt
>>11558926pack your shit you're moving faggot
>>11558512Do any actually exist?
>>11559083It was a $350 art figure, but yeah, there is one. lol
>>11559103Darn. This display's gonna be pricey.
thoughts on OOK?
>>11558928That would be neat. Though you're right, there isn't a lot of existing tooling that would work. Dash would have to be all new, maybe they could throw in Boushh Leia, and possibly make a couple of new pieces to create Chewie as Snoova.
>>11558339got dayum, thats fire
Just have six more figures left on my Cantina needs list, hoping we'll see some news about the rumored Cantina 4-pack soon. There's quite a few low-hanging fruit characters that could be kitbashed from existing molds but I'd really love to see more of the different humans even if they're bland or don't have stand out "wow"-factor. https://www.banthaskull.com/miaf/list/cantina_patrons
>>11559327Who are you missing? I'm waiting for then to announce the next figures before I go buying any. I have some customs I want to do for some of the characters that exist but are kinda shit figures, like Djas Puhr.
>>11559415djas puhr more like nick gurr
need to find a good Rungs to make one corner of my cantina a Holiday Special areasurely i can find something at the craft stores this Halloween
My TVC Han showed up from Amazon today. Surprised it's showing up so much sooner than Obi-Wan, but alright. The face sculpt is actually pretty good.
>>11559501Mine is out for delivery along with Chewie. Can't wait to see Han in person
>>11558339Looks better.
>>11559501The one time I order from pulse instead of Amazon, Amazon gets them early… oh well I can wait>>11559511I was initially really excited for Chewie when they pipelined him but ended up deciding to skip. I just can't get over how far apart his legs are and how ridiculous it looks. Plus he really should've had a neutral face because almost every previous version has him yelling with mouth open. And a new bowcaster that doesn't come apart if you so much as breath on it… They really need to stop partial retools they are garbage every single time
>>11559415Bom VidinDjas PuhrPons LimbicSnaggletoothWiosleaKitik Keek'kakKetwol Will grab these over the next couple months. Actually think I have a couple snaggletooths but they're not the latest version
Somehow Coleman Trebor returned
>>11559533>over 700 backers randomly added 2 days after the endwhat the fuck?
>>11559533fuck i didn't back a second gunship because it didn't hit the tier
>>11559532at least you have the heavy hitters out of the waythe rest should be fairly cheap to acquire aside from maybe Pons
>>11559533Are we just openly and deliberately catering to the secondary market with this timing? The demand for him is gonna be completely fucked when people who would've ordered for him didn't get to know he'd unlock before funding ended, I take back what I said before about him probably being around $80, it's almost definitely gonna be so much worse than that.
>>11559533Thank the maker!
>>11559546no, fuck Hasbro
can't believe this dinosaur ass motherfucker is going to be the rarest TVC figure of all time
>>11559555Is he? I mean there will be at least 10k of him. There’s probably figures out there fewer of which were produced
>>11559561the only one i can think of with as low a production run as Coleman was POTF carded Yak Face from the first Haslab, but that figure got rereleased on a different cardif Coleman doesn't get a wide release on different card he'll most certainly be the rarest
>>11559566was jocasta nu not lower than 10k produced?
>>11559532Bom Vimdin is good and he's getting the reissue from Target so hopefully you jumped on that. But if not, maybe keep an eye on Tung Hori because sometimes he shows up there, same with Wioslea. I got both of them from his store a few months ago for not a bad price at all.
>>11559581Yeah I was thinking of her and some other exclusives like that
>>11559581i have a sneaking suspicion she was higher than 10kstuck around on brians toys for agesthe SDCC death star exclusives are probably lower than 10k, but they're kind of novelty figures
>>11559596I saw that, in my notes I marked down that he's getting a release in October I think. I'm really itching for some figure updates now because Labria and Wolfman are both way too dated to stand up with modern TVC figures and a ton of the others are borderline and at best I'll have to keep them mostly hidden in alcoves.
>>11559610Cool, glad you got that. I also agree which is why I'm wanting to make customs. I've got a resin print of a Shistavanen head that I want to use to make a new Lak Sivrak.
>>11559103Jesus imagine paying $350 for that cursed thing>comes with a mic and signature towelYou drive a hard bargain
>>11559603didn't all of the death star set figures have other releases, aside from jar jar in carbonite, which isn't technically a figure?
Why does this retard talk about things he doesn’t even understand?https://youtu.be/ruYbG_RpWMA?feature=shared
Got the Han and Chewbacca in that I ordered from Amazon. Han actually looks great in person. And it's fun to finally have a Chewbacca that doesn't have awful hips.
>>11557225IRL Jawa
>>11557205 This picture reminds me of all the "serious adults with jobs" pics that LEGO uses in it's bullshit advertising.
>>11559703 even "adults" in prison love them.
>>11559715NEW THREAD>>11559715NEW THREAD
>>11559533The thing was almost $500 and there are already LAATs. For that price they should have given you the option for the skyhook version that can airdrop an AT-TE (which would obviously have to be another campaign later). For that price range they could have given us the Tantive IV. Yes it would have to be very scaled down, but so is the Vintage Collection Millenium Falcon. The bigger the vehicle the further away from 1:1 scale it's going to end up being but that would actually give the Tantive IV more broad appeal, because it would appeal to both Vintage Collection collectors and people who collect Kenner-style vehicles. It was the one that got away from the Kenner collection and they could make it way bigger and grander than the original vision if it was a Haslab, which would be great because the 70s/80s prototype, while full of Kenner charm was not much bigger than the Kenner Millennium Falcon.
