How do you people feel when you put so much time and effort into making a custom figure of a character only for them to eventually release an official verison?
>>11559637Why does Link look like a middle aged man?
>>11559639That's Dolph Lundgren
>>11559637Same energy.
>>11559637It kinda sucks but at the same time, I take on the lessons I've learned and carry that knowledge over for future customs. Admittedly, this is why I've stopped making customs for the sake of filling in gaps for a collection especially with big lines like Marvel Legends with a lot of coverage in characters. So I only tend to make a custom either for personal fun/experimentation or when it's guaranteed they'll never make a figure with the exact parts and specifications I want for it.

>>11559637>>11559805I think making shit yourself is kinda fulfilling itself
>>11559637This is why I don't. If we never get official anyway, it's no loss nor gain to me. I live to consoom, and ill wait before I die. I will say that the most ive done was give the old Jazwares Sonic toys balljoint ankles. I discovered that long before Jakks did, and im proud of myself. That thing was donated long ago though
>>11559736Probably the same idea.
>>11559637I usually just feel happy to have two versions of a character I really like, especially if I actually did a decent job on the custom.
>>11560731I mean yeah, that's why I said "for personal fun/experimentation" or if they never make a figure "with the exact parts".
