Figma initially had some nice extras and decent likeness, but the pattern on some of the character's hakama were known to have QC issues and peel off over time. Also some of the engineering didn't age well as the line went on. I say this as someone who first got Figma Tanjiro and Nezuko, and then switched to Buzzmod and SHF later on.
>>11672350Some figures have been hit or miss. I don't think anyone has done Akaza or Inosuke right, though SHF hasn't done Inosuke yet, just teased him. Figma's best figure is probably Kyojuro Rengoku, and Figuarts best figure is probably Tanjiro.Though, they have released two versions of him; The cheap $35 version is a fantastic figure, definitely one of the best figures they've released at that price point. The second one is almost twice that price, but I don't think it is out yet, and it is from the final arc.Bandai is releasing them veeeeeery slowly, though, and so far in the Figma and Bandai likes, the only Hashira they've done are Rengoku, Giyu, and Shinobu. Only Buzzmod has done the ones beyond that. Figma has stopped their line completely, but it remains to be seen if Bandai will go further, since they're still working on the line.

A major problem with Buzzmod now is if you're getting into the line this late and want to get everyone, you're beholden to aftermarket prices on a lot of figures. And that's on top of them already costing more than all the other options.

He uses fire attacks. See the guy with a snake on his shoulder? He uses serpent based attacks. See the girl with the butterfly-esque patterns on her robe and butterfly hairpin? She uses insect/butterfly attacks.The yellow bowl cut guy uses lightning attacks. The guy with the boar head fights like a feral, wild animal. It really is as simple as that.

Why the fuck would people just buy any and all Buzzmod figures if they only wanted the Demon Slayer ones? The reasoning still stands that many of the old ones from years ago can only be gotten for aftermarket prices now, and the Buzzmods weren't even all that cheap on their original retail.

Ironically, the Bandai's Ultimate Legends features a Tanjiro that can hold his sword in two hands the easiest compared to the others.Too bad Zenitsu doesn't come with any extra faces (And one of his arms pops off easily), Inosuke's arm easily pops off and Nezuko also doesn't have an alternate "normal" face.

It'd be nice if another company finished the Hashira at least, since so far only Buzzmod has gotten that far, and in second place, comically enough is McFarlane.

Also, a lot of the Figuarts that released around the same time toward the end of last year (Akaza, Shinobu, Giyu, and the second Tanjiro) are relevant to the Infinity Castle movie that came out late last year, so I figure they released them since they were relevant timing-wise.It'd be nice if at least ONE more figure maker beyond Buzzmod could put out the full Hashira group, and then we can worry about more of the side characters.
