Posting these guys again. As individual bots go, XTB's constructicons are looking good. MS's Combaticons will probs never be combined, the individual bots are just that good imo.
>>
>>11669427
I think it's too small for that
>>
>>11675231
are they better than the XTB Constructicons?

Why put Computron there?
He came out a while ago

So uh, are there any Matrixi that would fit in his hands like the movie?

Something like this? I would settle for a 3 finger hold on each side.

Is NA going to make an even larger combiner frame that combines these 6 combiners?

Is an officially licensed model kit technically appropriate for this thread? I feel like it would be better suited here given the nature of “transformers that don’t transform” discourse.

Anyways, love my Primes and have many that transform, but none of them articulate like this guy. So, I wanted to give it a try. Probably won’t buy any other Flame Toys stuff but I like having a very very bendy Prime.

This the furai model?
Yeah they fit here since they are technically licensed 3rd party, like the actual use of the term "3rd Party".
It also fits in /tfg/ anyway since they have no hard rule against 3rd parties, just that you might trigger some autists which is good for a laugh or two.

I thought the toy decoes had a different head to the toon version?
>>
>>11677378
They do, but they also come with a g1 stock head themed to their respective bot.

That new Daftbots line that's coming out has a similar aesthetic, tiny cartoony army vehicles with tiny cartoony crews. And they turn into robots.

If Cang Toys continued this arthropod line they'd get a purchase each time from me which is an infinite roi over the long run if you think about it so they should make more.

I have it. His toes don’t hold very well. His legs are kinda weird stability wise. Other than that, it’s a cool figure

Anyone know if Legacy Starscream actually has ports for this? Or is it just the wrist?

This design has a 5mm hole on the bottom, I think the seller includes a 5 mm peg so you can attach it to any 5mm hole on Starscream.

You can attach the old original Swindle toy to Legacy Starscream the same way, with a 5mm tube. I managed to find the repaint of it 2nd-hand.
>>
>>11678822
Whoa, how do you detach the ring like that?
>>
>>11678825
You mean the wing? Just pop them off. That red hinge is made of wear-resistant nylon it can be done without damage. I store the wing on the other side, also using a 5mm tube, you can see it in the same photo.
>>
>>11678838
Hell yeah, I should do that. I always liked the wing blade more than the Starsaber.
>>
>>11678065
Probably around $50 like their Optimus.

Magic Square makes the best MP scale combiners, agree or disagree? if you think otherwise. whats your preference. I'm trying get a idea of what horse to back.

Why are the limb bots robot forms for MMCs Ocular Max combiners so oddly proportioned? are they maximising the combined modes presentation at the cost of the limbs?

The All-in-one gimmick requires sacrifices to the engineering gods. They are trying to adhere close to very clean Sunbow silhouettes that have inherently goofy proportions while making the combiner and alt mode to work without extra pieces. MMC also prioritizes keeping the transformation relatively intuitive and making sure there is still a load of playability as toys.

I think they could be slightly better in some areas but they aren't going to be able to looksmax as easily as something that can partsform all the hard bits out of the way.

I just got the set and hes incredible. There are issues like some mold flashing and he doesn't come with his iconic gun which is unfortunate. There's also a problem with Vortex clipping properly onto Bruticus but there's solutions for it.

The toon chest/feet add ons are also 100 plus which is hefty.

The individual bots themselves are incredible and they're a joy to transform. Im debating keeping them individually but I've transformed all of them with no issues whatsoever all weekend.

I'd highly recommend them maybe I just got lucky as tons of people are having tolerance issues.

>ko of an hour official figure and add on kit

I don't know
I understand where the maker is coming from but you can't use the new add on properly with the original figure is a bummer- even if the new figure is more "accurate".

Though I do have to say there is something to be desired with the design (I mean the visual look) in the super mode so I guessing I am keeping this in fire truck.

I am still thinking an official truck mode is actually coming. And it is probably very similar in the overall engineering design compared to the DNA kit.

Though considering that we still have not got animated Megatron or even lugnut I think we will be wait for a while
