which film or series had the best toyline?
>>11688652TNG
>>11688652Still awaiting for the Nacelle figures to ship.
I've got an old pal that's into trek,he is literally my only pal on earth and I miss him. ###palI haven't seen anything since the fart and you'll miss it Playmate reissues. Why doesn't Star Trek have a more regular time in the toy aisle?
>>11688769because star trek is gay and lame and written for stupid faggots that care more about writing than cool looking shit
>>11688734The first wave did ship didn't it? They look...ooookaaaaay? Likenesses are average.
>>11688652I had a few of these. I think Kirk, Spock Prime and one of the red shirts but forget which one.
>>11690845Knee joints but nothing in the hips? What an odd decision
>>11688734I'm looking forward to Captain Kirk with horse.
>>11691072"Hit Motion Picture"? What movie did they see?
>>11691697It opened at #1 apparently, so I guess it was a hit if you stretch the truth a bit?
>>11691697Nemesis is what really killed them. $67m gross on an $60m budget. Yikes.
>>11691697It made less than First Contact but also had a bigger budget. Still made more than Nemesis
>>11691089The trousers were also rubber which was kinda weird
My Sulu should arrive Monday. I'm really optimistic for Nacelle's line, hopefully it goes well and they can keep making more.
>>11692592They seem to really want to make the line work, so yeah, hopefully it works out for them.
>>11688652playmates tng, without question
Would you a T'Pol?
>>11692592considering the early releases all looked like crap compared to the renders, and their "fixes" don't particularly look any better, I'm skeptical they're even gonna ship Wave 2 at this point. Let alone 3, 4 and whatever they have planned.
>>11694468I haven't been following any of that. What exactly is wrong?
>>11694555The original samples came out badly, so they went back to the factory to get everything re-done. I wouldn't put too much stock in factory pictures, desu, so I'm interested to see how they turn out.
Uh so Amazon charged me for a Sulu, said it was going to arrive yesterday, then it never shipped and now it just disappeared completely from my orders and Amazon entirely. The same wave is up for preorder on BBTS but I'm starting to get really skeptical about this whole thing. Cancelling all my other Trek orders until this first wave gets sorted out.
Hmm so it looks like order was auto cancelled, which I assume is what happened but there wasn't an email or notification about it. Anyone have any luck getting their orders fulfilled? Over on /tv/ someone said they got a Weyoun before shipments were stopped. What a bummer. I guess I'll check back in a few months and see if anything's happened.
>sad>so very sad
>>11691072It took 60 years for someone to finally make an Enterprise that's playable with figures and it was Playmobile of all companies. It could have been done way sooner but nobody wanted to take a chance on it, even after the success of Star Wars. It's not even significantly bigger than the Millennium Falcon but it works. At the peak of TNG's popularity there would have been a market for a large "doll-house" type Enterprise vehicle / playset.
>>11689716Same, I also had the Enterprise which I really liked
>>11692807Has any line from nacelle been successful yet? Seems like you a get a wave then nothing else comes out. Robo force, sectuars and biker mice from mars seem to have dried up. I was really curious for sectuars but like I say, it seems dead now. Is it more that I'm not paying attention to the line?
Uh
>>11701343Looks cool but they haven't been able to get a first wave shipped yet.Promises promises.
>>11701471But the first wave did ship...
>>11702605Sulu is still listed as a preorder on BBTS, there's absolutely nothing on listed on Amazon, and nothing on ebay. Nacelle said the reprinted first wave will ship in March.
>>11688652Reminder that slimy rat parasite Abrams asked CBS/Paramount to stop making toys based on OGST so that only his versions of them would be sold!!!FACT!!!
>>11688652Mincromachines ships line from 93 was the best.
>>11698076I don't understand how this didn't happen in the 80s when they were making the movies, and toylines with oversized vehicles was the norm. The first run TNG figures were perfect size for this too. Just have a line of 3 inch tall figures and a GI:Joe vehicle sized Enterprise to stick them into.
I wonder if that one guy will see these and the first thing that pops into his mind is he'll think everyone still doesn't realize the first wave hasn't shipped yet
Ain't nobody gonna have room for this whole fucking thing
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2gu6DOilA7wStar Trek right at the beginning if you want to hear the guy who sounds like he's about to cry talk about some of the choices they've made on the line
>>11712486>Two hours Moo Mesa Toys unboxing video sold 20% of their stock What the fuckThat must be a good video
