Demona's top is not a separate piece, no, just sculpted to look that way. You could probably do some work to it with sanding and cutting, but that's more work that you want to do I'm betting. If you want a bare body to work with, you'd definitely want to go with the Elvira. Though she is a larger scale than the average figure. Not sure what you're making or what you want it to work with.And no, nothing odd about the plastic. Boil and pop and your typical painting rituals will be fine when customizing. I found this very interesting, I know this guy has been shared before when it comes to Alien figures, but he used a combination of NECA and Mezco xenomorph parts to create a much more accurate Big Chap to the original film.
