Whoops, forgot the previous thread>>11832604
>>11836577SOLD THE FUCK OUT IN 5 SECONDS!
>>11836580It's a regular release and will be available on Amazon next week at the latest. Relax.
>>11836583Yeah but not for 60 bucks.
>>11836585You're not paying $60 for it shipped from Amiami either. I just shipped Mafex Frank and it cost me $32. So, it'll work out to be about the same price since Amazon charges $99 for these releases.
>>11836583Amazon will also sell out
>>11836583>>11836587Fuck USA.
>>11836580Dang it really did. Any idea when other stores would have some in stock for pre orders? I completely spaced and forgot to order.
>>11836577>Bandai realizes making female figures attractive makes them sellHopefully Todd McDonaldland takes notes.
>>11836587Good thing I don't shop at ami
>>11836601They won't. Possibly when it releases but not until then.
>>11836577thighs of a 200 pound womanlooks off
>>11836602You ask for the impossible
Got my floating shelf up.>>11834892I'll be watching it for sure, but at the moment more excited for that sdcc 67 spidey set as im rewatching the old cartoon. I really hope they do a full line as that is something I'd invest in. The packaging also looks really nice.
where is the '97 Spiral?
This isn't murder...
It just looks so fun!Mysterio and Spider Slayer next please!
>>11836577Why didn't you use the fart?
>>11836646I just want that electro
>>11836594Considering the other three haven't sold out, I kinda doubt it. But other stores like BBTS and EE will also get it. It's a regular Bandai release, they have regular distribution channels for this shit. Gamestop and Barnes and Nobel gets regular releases too. >>11836601Amazon's US site, BBTS, Entertainment Earth, Gamestop, and other will start to put her up on their sites in the next couple of days. Price will be pretty similar to the final price of your figure shipped from Amiami. They're charging about $32ish for ECMS shipping right now, and the US sites are charging $99 for the Gamerverse stuff,
>>11836577man they had nailed it three times but not with this one. what is it about Psylocke that is just impossible to get right as a toy
>>11836658That you're all coombrained losers with unrealistic expectations?
>>11836661marvel fans? say it isn't so
What's the best spiderman I could use for a MvC display? I now heard multiple times that Maximum Series Spider-Man is the way to go but he looks too dark. There is also the figure arts one but he's either sold out or far to expensive.
>>11836577seeing marvel legend hagfags cope with their ugly walmart middle aged woman version of psylocke is so funny
>>11836690It's funny because when it came out I thought it looked great, when the SHF got announced I went back to compare and it suddenly looked very rough lol.
>>11836692comparison is the thief of joy
>>11836685>What's the best spiderman I could use>the figure arts one but he's either sold out or far to expensive. You answered your own question. You should have asked what is a cheap spider-man I can use for my MvC display. Since best is usually associated with expensive.
>>11836690you need new material
>>11836655>>11836605Thanks guys. Will need to keep an eye out.
What's a good spiderman for under 50 bucks I could use for a MvC display? I now heard multiple times that Maximum Series Spider-Man is the way to go but he looks too dark in my opinion. There is also the figure arts one but he's either sold out or far to expensive. I've saw some upcoming one based on the recent 3d movies which had a brighter color but I'm not really a fan of the Holland stuff.Sounds better >>11836698 to you?
>>11836701i call this 'material'"observing reality"
>>11836703If you're dead set on spending less than $50 then you can grab the Into the Spider Verse Peter Parker: https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/product/spider-man-across-spider-verse-marvel-legends-peter-parker-action-figure-144382?variation=285927It's pretty close to a MvC looking Spidey, but really your two best bets are either the SHF or the Marvel Legends Maximum Spidey. You could also try to make one of the live action Spider-Men work there are several options for that out right now. >>11836709You're just kidding with this right, you're not actually this autistic are you?
Psylocke is up on BBTS right now.
>>11836727Yeh, I'm gonna wait, either for it coming back to HG or when I see her in Amazon in my country, I'll leave BBTS as a last resort, she'll probably will be available after release.
>>11836727>$10 down required unrefundable>$6 shippingI get it from a place with free shipping or not at all.
>>11836744Amazon will get her in in the next few days. BBTS has been pretty shit lately with the non refundable down payments. I've switched from them being my primary place to pre-order stuff over to Amazon. They're better.
marvel legends psylocke >>>> shf psylockeI prefer the tranny look over a real woman's face.
>>11836387I was about to ask why yours is glossy, then it struck me I memory-holed that letdown.
>>11836785hasbro and mcfarlane makes the best tranny characters in the market right now for action figs, god bless.
>>11836785>real woman's face.
>>11836787Exactly. Glad brown and gay people like me get more representation.
>>11836788yea its cute, hasblow lost
>>11836800it's not anything like a real woman's face, thoughmafex psylocke still mogs anyway
genuinely don't get why anyone buys ML at this point
>>11836848because literally no one else makes kingpin, bullseye, or elektra figuresit's pretty simple and you're a retard for "genuinely" not getting it
>>11836851eventually, an actually good company will get to ityou don't need to degrade yourself to the point of buying gummy slop just to "complete" your collection. that's hoarding behavior
>>11836861>eventually, an actually good company will get to itno, they won'tyou're also not going to convince people to stop buying MLs (lmao) by revealing yourself as a person who doesn't buy anything>stop being a hoarder with your 30 action figures!
>>11836864>you're also not going to convince people to stop buying MLsi don't mind if they don't. did you think i was planning to barge into your room and hold you hostage until you threw away all your mls?
>>11836867no, I think you're being very feminine because you posted>I can't BELIEVE people still buy theseand I like the movie mean girls as much as anyone else, but save it for your sewing circle
>>11836871>I can't BELIEVE people still buy thesei still can'ti also can't believe you're still melting about a simple opinion regarding a cheap plastic product, which i guess is very masculine, or something
>>11836873>maldingthat you would be youyou're "malding", and sound "pressed", and you're a virgin who can't drive, along with other various girl-coded insults
>>11836622Neither was kamikaze but here we are aren't we Warren? Remember when you were gonna lay the pipe but Cable cock blocked you and your booty buddy blasted your ass? Shit was cash.
>>11836874i said melting, anonwell, i'm confused such simple questions caused your brain to fry itself and you to flail uncontrollably, but at the very least you conveyed some information of use in the process
>>11836851that makes sense but what about people who buy spidermans and wolverines?
>>11836880I didn't read this post eitherbuy toys instead of telling people to not buy toys, you're on /toy/
>>11836881you get to debate endlessly about which import is best as you collect multiple figures of the same 2/3 costumes for each and consider which magneto and venom and/or carnage to get because you'll never get anyone else for them to fight
>>11836864>stop being a hoarder with your 30 action figures!I don't think people worrying over Kingpin is going for just 30 action figures. If you've got 30 action figures, you're more likely to stick to higher quality figs because you're more selective.
>>11836889>I don't think people worrying over Kingpin is going for just 30 action figures.I literally only collect Daredevil and his related charactersImports are complete garbage for variety and they always have been, and saying>just wait, Mafex will do Kingpin eventually! They won't, stop being retarded
>>11836867You really are an idiot
>>11836882>I didn't read this post eitheri can tell, because you're thrashing at a shadow you think you saw>instead of telling people to not buy toysi didn't. i inquired why people keep buying them considering they're so low-effortbut like you said: "you didn't read the post", because the question itself was enough to make you see red and get all snappy and snarky. very manly behavior, that.
THROOOOOG!!!!
>>11836899look at the sheer size of this lad
>>11836899Oh yeah and here's the Thor he comes with, he's pretty cool I guess.
>>11836895cool paragraphbut let me know when your favorite jap company makes bullseye because I'll probably buy it, unlike you who never buys anything
>>11836647This.
>>11836903He's great actually. I don't think I could be happier with this release. He looks great in person.
>>11836907Articulation is great, although I do wish he had boot swivels, but it's not the end of the world. His cape is very nice. Nice thick fabric, good wire. Accessories are good to, I do like the swappable faces.
>>11836905i hope they do, anon. even if you're a bit womanbrained, i'd like you to have something nice for once, rather than the same 5 dollar gummy for kids mush
Here he is with the modern versions of the other big name Avengers. He's a big lad. Goes very well with these guys, I've been waiting years to get a modern update of this version of Thor.
>>11836910great post, still no villains tho
>>11836911Yeah, I'm a little annoyed It took me finally pulling the trigger on the old RoML version for them to finally make a new one, but I guess I had to buy it not even six months before they announced the new one. Oh well, it was only $12 so who really cares? I enjoy the 2000s stuff still, so I'm glad to fill out my 2000s roster with this guy, can't wait for Dark Avengers Hawkeye to finish off that team and then the Future Foundation to get a more modern version of the F4 in the mix. Between my New Avengers, Dark Avengers, Astonishing X-Men, and soon to be FF, I'll be pretty set on my favorite modern Marvel stuff. Just need some Grant Morrison X-Men and I'll be happy.
Thor disapproves this senseless bickering. Cut it out you girls and post some fuckin toys.
>>11836907Could be happier if he was cheaper
>>11836921Nah, really don't care about it being $55 or whatever it was. I'm loving this figure. Post your favorite Thor figure instead of being a big baby.
Yay I got the Psylocke pre-orderBut she arrives until next year...
when are they going to reveal the next wave of figures? SDCC?
>>11836804I'll take the generic Jim Lee sameface sculpt over these independent and misguided interpretations any day.
>>11836943my main gripe is that it's supposed to be MvC2 Psylocke, but the figure's face looks more like it would be from some generic X-Men harem anime they made in 2006
Psylocke tricked every male into ordering her. Even me.
>>11836951So it fits with their Street Fighter figures.
>>11836955Dastardly wench
>>11836848Sounds like a (You) problem. They're pretty adequate figures for what you get, even at the inflated prices, the good ones are good. I don't feel ripped off with Maximum Thor at all. The articulation scheme is good and not to dissimilar for an import figure, the accessory count is good, the figure is large and beefy, and the soft goods are actually well done, I'd put it on par with any SHF or Medicom soft goods cape. They make good figures. Is every figure that level of quality? No. But does random X-Man character who appeared in three panels total really need to be the most spectacular thing ever? No, it doesn't. Do I think every figure ever is worth the price point they're asking? No. But that comes down to the character itself more than the actual figure more often than not.I collect these figures not because I'm looking for the perfect action figure. I'm not delusional enough to think that a perfect action figure can even exist in any form. Everything will have flaws, everything. I collect Marvel Legends because I like Marvel characters. The Marvel comics universe is one of my all time favorite franchises ever, Spider-Man is my all time favorite fictional character. So I love the property, even though current era stuff is terrible, it won't sour me on the stuff I do love, and every once in a while they'll pump out something that's gold like X-Men 97. I also buy higher end versions of characters I'm a more of a fan of, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Daredevil, Iron Man, Cap, Thor, I just paid Amiami for Mafex Punisher. But because I'm not a brand wars snob I mix and match to get the best of both worlds. Really, only low IQ mongoloids like to start this brand war bullshit because they're incapable of understanding that someone else could like something they don't. Anyway, thanks for reading my blog post. Stop being a dork and getting your panties wadded that people like something you don't.
>>11836577Do we have an idea of how good or bad Psylocke's posability will be?
>>11836967I feel like you're projecting, anon.
>>11836916>utterly mogged by a ~15 year old figureSculptor should be ashamed.
>>11836970Projecting what exactly? That I don't care about brand wars?
I've been brainwashed by the SHF Psylocke hype
>>11836996If it's any consolation, it's probably gonna be a total piece of crap in hand like the other Gamerverse figs.
>>11836998>total piece of crap in hand like the other SH Figuarts ftfy
>>11836998>>11837010Lol nice cope
>>11836899Amazing, can't believe they only charged 55 bucks for him.>>11836903>>11836907>>11836909>>11836911He looks great, the JMS suit has always been peak. Maximum Beta Ray Bill when?>>11836878>Neither was kamikazeThat was kind of an accident. And hilarious.
>>11836666>>11836655Fucking Ross stores have been getting Bandai.Has it been something like Punisher? No.But people need to get over themselves and their import superiority or import persecution complex(es)>coombrained>unrealisticAlso it's an ugly thing no matter the price or 'distribution channel' - y'all have shitty taste in toys.Just find some onlyfans to fap to.Y'all are worse than the cartoon waifu anons fapping to five year old virgins in animated garbage
>>11837181>y'alland sorry, retard, but psylocke's costume isn't a skintight one piece because of female empowerment, it's a skintight one piece so 12 year old boys would want to buy X-Men comics
What are some of your top 5 figures at this point? Im trying to make a top 20 shelf at the moment. Need to fill final spot. I may add mephisto for now.>>11836903This looks good, but i prefer Kirkby thor. The Mezco looked ok, but i don't like soft goods. I guess the mafex with a longer neck peg works for now.
How do i resist buying Psylocke?
>>11837229I found it pretty easy. I'm just not an x fan. Ive tried, but I just find it too soap opera drama for my taste.
>>11837246Serious question but how do you even enjoy comics? They're also basically soap operas.
>>11837229I bought her yesterday and I'm confident that I won't have an urge to buy her today or tomorrow.
>>11837226what spiderman is that?
>>11837270Mafex with custom head
>>11837249Early comics had a brooding monologue through the main character, but they remained stoic and the story's were action driven. Many X stories seemed to forgo that and focus more on team dynamics and rivalries. Sometimes there wasnt even an enemy to fight.
>>11837270The mafex 185 spiderman with a custom romita head i got off ali years ago. I dont like using it because it is hollow so has now way to fix on the peg, but it looks ok with some tac.
>>11837305You say this at the same time that most Superman stories in the 40s and 50s involved Lois getting into some kind of wacky hijinks while Superman ends up saving the day. Are you really trying to pretend superhero comics weren't goofy and overly dramatic since their inception? If you were talking about Noir or Horror or War books, you'd have at least some legs to stand on, but even those tended to be overly dramatic and soap opera-y at times.
>>11837307Did you ever thought about painting Shockers lines?
>>11837307>that head>Romita Sr.Wut? That head looks nothing like JRSR.
>>11837181Not everyone wants your Marvel Legends WEGhag figures for adult children scared of sexuality on their sexualized character
>>11837315>most Superman stories in the 40s and 50sI don't know about DC as never liked superman or batman. Im talking specifically about silverage marvel circa 61-70 vs the bronze age x-men circa 75-85.
>>11837325You clearly weren't reading Spider-Man or the Avengers then.
>>11837104Yeah, kamikaze was a bit of fun and really lifted my mood. By that point I was desperate for a chuckle. Good book but man, I get burnt out on the high stakes of X-Men cross overs.
>>11837330I was. I mean maybe i'm just being biased since I enjoy spider-man and avengers.I don't know what it is about x-men I dislike, maybe it's the whole underlying discrimination theme which makes it feel faggoty to me. Or the whole cuck Logan theme, or Ororo's claustrophobia.Sure, Peter was supposed to be an everyman hero, but I feel like x-men took it the next level and made them way too cringe.
>>11837321I dunno what to say. Thats what the listing was described as.
>And who are you supposed to be?>Who do I look like?
>>11837341It still blows my mind that these versions of the characters are nearly 20 years old now.
Finna bouta do it boys, I'm gonna order psylocke. She will look nice with my snail shell and street Fighter stuff.
>>11837341>>11837370That Thor costume is one of his best looks imo, second only to the classic Kirby look.
You can have a different personal preference as your favorite Thor costume, but if you don't at least like the Coipel look then you don't like good designs. Simple as.
>>11837389I like him by default just because he is black.
>>11837405>Miles Morales as Thora true cult classic
>>11837317Nah. I dont like how gundam lining looks. I tried it on black panther and decided never again. The sculpt just isnt clean enough for the lines to look straight. This looks bad imo.
>>11837406I mean Coipel himself obviously
Is lizard objectively the best spidey villain figure from hasbro to date? Who are in the top 3 in terms of sculpt, engineering and accessories? Maybe have TAS as a seperate list.
>>11837323Delusional fucktard
>>11837416Blob rocks too
>>11836646I'm mildly mad that they included such a complete set of hands for a joke Spider-Man.
So with season 2 of X-Men '97 and the appearence of Psylocke in it, will we get another one from Hasbro? This time without artificial scarcity?
COME ONCOME ONCOME ONCOME ON
>>11837435DAREDEVIL!
>>11837435why does he have a hole in his back?
>>11837432yea but shes gonna have jaundice like she does in the cartoon, they got jubilee skin tone right but fucked up on psylocke.
>>11837438So you can plug in his sonar sense effect
>>11837438It's for the radar sense effect and lenticular shield thing.
I ordered Psylocke yesterday and woke up today and regretted it. Now it's kind of mixed. I feel like I'm going through an emotional rollercoaster
Why are you guys making such a fuss over this one particular figure? Why are you spergs like this?
>>11837446Once she sells out that's it. They don't Rerelease and if they do it's years.
>>11837446Men feel like the body of a sexy woman is art.
>>11837446Same reason so many young girls are now millionaires through only fans. Its sad to see, but tricks gon trick and simps gon simp.
Oh God how the fuck does this thing workWhat the hell is happeningI'M SORRY
When we getting this in ML?
>>11837466You mean, that's REAL? It's not just the SFW part of some AI porn cartoon?
>>11837341>>11837370>>11837385It almost looks like Bucky has wings until you blow that up. I still like that Bucky Cap but really wish it had gotten an unmasked head and a better fucking shield that the awful clip/plug shit they used at the start. Those shield fucking break so easily, my first one of these has no shield and is now missing his factory weapons, although I think the silver firearm I got him actually looks better than the black original. The box I bought in replacement almost two years ago is still sitting somewhere inside another box, and I have a different shield on the loose one but it's time to sell him off since I got another loose but complete replacement originally. I'll just swap the shield I've been using and use the replacement to sell the first one off. >Thor... is okay. It is a good suit and his movies are the ones I've liked the best because Cap only got two movies, really, and I like the character otherwise (the cartoons were my introduction to Marvel more than Spider-Man) but could never get into his comics so honestly don't have a strong feeling either way. I do like the all black of the Fat Thor suit, just don't like that it's a fat body and the face/head.
>>11837475Its real lol
>>11837475It's modded.
>>11837466Nice of Rivals to give the women and gays some fanservice. Don't want to hear anymore whining about the male gaze or whatever.>>11837498Nah, it's real. Surprised me, too.https://x.com/MarvelRivals/status/2072334422355902761
>>11837466It's thanks to this that I know of the female Loki swimsuit skin, holy smokes is she hot. The old legends female Loki is one of my favorite gooner figures .The Sue Richards swimsuit skin is pretty hot too, it's a nice homage to that horrible costume she wore in the 90s
>>11837435Is this a costume from the comics or Secret Wars toy only?
>>11837407this would probably look better with light brown lines, it would hide how messy it is somewhat
>>11837446zoomers are completely terrified of sexual attraction and therefore by any imagery or (in this case) figure with a design that embodies that
>>11837181Buy an ad.
>>11837445You can always resell it for a higher price
>>11837568AHHH! Say no more, strangah!
>>11836577It's so funny to see the Mafex Thorlet medt to the chase Max Thor.
>>11837600notice how all the mafex's silver plates are sculpted while the ML has silly tampo circles for the third pair.
>>11837601That's how the design is anon. The bottom set of circles is supposed to be just printed on. I swear you guys don't even know what you're bitching about. Makes all the Hasbro detractors look like retards that don't even care about Marvel. Piss off you stupid faggot. I'm sick of you.
>>11837603I suspected that but I don't really care, it looks bad and should've been changed.
>>11837605You're wrong and should be shot into the sun
>>11837605Take it up with Oliver Coipel then. Holy shit I can't stand you stupid fucks. Bitch bitch bitch. Not even knowing what you're bitching about. You crybabies who bitch about Hasbro have no fucking leg to stand on anymore. You don't even like Marvel so why are you here?
>>11837606Sorry, I prefer a figure to look good than to be entirely accurate to the comic. An example where the figure did deviate from the comic to look better than the comic is this Storm. The figure's hair is better than her typical hairstyle in her Outback comic look.
>>11837610Then go buy a Mezco or something that has Mezflair or whatever if you don't want something actually accurate to the source material. When will you realize you secondaries don't get an opinion and should shut your mouth. Know your place.
>>11837605>I was wrong but now I have to defend myself because being superior on a website where nobody will ever know me is all I have
>>11837610I was in your mama's outback last night
>>11837612I only said the silly tampo circles for the third pair look bad. And they look bad whether they are accurate or not.
To everyone who complained about this spiderman I’d just like to say you’re all faggots
>>11837621God, look at how horrible that is. Those legs are a travesty.
>>11837621I remember when people here told me that SHF wasn't using renders to advertise their gamerverse figures. But that image is proof they were, as that is not this. This is a render. That is in hand. Obvious difference.
>>11837621It looks pretty cool. Don't like the legs, though. Not sure why they needed to revert to 2.0 legs.Still 20 times better than anything ML shits out, of course. Mafex, it depends on what style you prefer.
>>11837526Nah. Ive seen people use brown, grey and black. It looks shit every time.
>>11837610>Suit is not jet black>head is just a reuse instead of a new comic accurate headHasbro Marvel shills like this guy is why were at $28 figures with half the accesories we used to get just a few years ago. We are now a SW BS levels of skimpy figure offerings.
>>11837630Jet black is worse as black plastic looks plain and tends to be made of recycled plastic that has toxic flame retardants in it, while gray plastic is less likely to.The head they used has a more normal hairstyle than her weird-ass Outback one.But it's hilarious you think I'm a Hasbro shill when I barely pay full price for most MLs because they aren't worth $28. They're still around that $20 mark in quality, and now you have to wait for sales for them to be worth it.
>>11837642so what you're saying is you didn't want an outback storm at all
>>11837645Not really, I wanted a Storm that looked cool
>>11837648this is the only cool looking storm costume
>>11837651While that art of it looks cool, Hasbro did a similar costume in a way I did not like in their Storm/Wolverine 2 pack. First, her arms are nearly straight without the proper, natural proportioning. Second, the skin colors throughout different parts of her body don't 100% match due to bad color matching from Hasbro. Third, you either get a smug, happy head or an angry head. I prefer a more neutral expression. Fourth, the suit bottom half is too high cut and the top half drapes too far down. It likely matches an older version of art which was more modest. If it matched that image closely I would get it.
>>11837603Why would I read that trash? It looks fucking gay.
>>11837671Sorry, I assumed that because you're on a thread about Marvel figures that you ya (mow, liked Marvel comics. My mistake. Should've realized all the bitch babies were secondary casual fake geek girls. It's all so tiresome to listen to the same old shit you pussies whines about day in and day out.
>>11837603Not that anon and I love that run but I always thought it looked funny how he had the circles printed on lol. Neat design in theory but I always felt like it could've used some more tweaks.
>>11837446The quirky chungus millennial entire personality revolved around impressing an invisible audience all the time and winning a pissing contest that only exist in their heads. Its why their opinion are always radical. If they like the figure they act like a sex crazed pest and if they dont like them they act like a super conservative nun. The same can be said in any other form of media.
>>11837181>Ross has been getting BandaiThey're getting unsold bargain line figures that retail for $35 at walmart and target
>>11837621I'll get the Mustang KO when I see reviews of it
>>11837784Sounds like Gundam Universe
>>11837664Hasbro should be charged with a hate crime for this.
>>11837795I know absolute 0 about Gundam
>>11837829the funniest part of this figure to me is that they made her way blacker in the '97 Wolverine pack in release. Like Charlie Murphy black. It's largely the same figure as the Thunderbird 2 pack, but worse in various ways.
>>11837726That fence feeling good between your cheeks, ol boy?
>>11837341Nice, now pose him calling Tony on his bullshit.
>Kingpin: Where is the other one?!>DD: Right here, Kingpin. And the name's Daredevil.>Kingpin: You would have to be a Daredevil, to DARE to challenge ME.>Daredevil: I'm taking your family. The police have your son and I have you...>>11837510I'm thinking the latter, since I can't ever recall the double D's being black in the comics, but maybe someone more knowledgeable than me has the answer.
>>11837941>Kingpin: MY son?!
>>11837941>>11837942Would Daredevil use the toilet backwards?
>>11837973You guys are so fucking weird. Go kiss a toilet you freak.
Mephisto arrived. Its a big ass box.
Next SHF Gamerverse figure is Venom.
He looks good next to manfaxlet thor.
>>11838007another horrible diaper that will make a great looking figure turn out to be ugly as sin?
>>11838012Movie venom had the multi-piece pelvis, I'd expect this one will, too.
>>11837904>Stark, I would have words with thee.
>>11838036That's not playing very nice.
>>11838036Mcdonald's plastic Iron Man is sure in for it now! But foreal has Hasbro ever done any kind of metallic or chrome paint for armored figures like Iron Man? Chrome gold and red would look so sick.
>>11836916The headsculpt of the old Thor is so much better. The new one has the air of an old Karen frowning impolitely at a store clerk
>>11838041Again, you guys don't even know what you're bitching about. The Iron Man in that pic is an updated version of pic related. The old one was a single release, didn't have butterfly shoulders or an ab crunch but did have a more metallic color scheme. The one in the Thor pic is from the 2 pack with Mandarin. I actually prefer the colors of the 2 pack version because they're closer to the coloring in the comics. I never liked the coloring on the first version, I thought the metallic gold they did for the Model 42 was much better.
>>11838046Wrong
>>11838048I meant the model 20, not the 42, I get the model numbers mixed up. The coloring on this one I mean would've been ideal.
>>11837941>>11837942It's enjoyable seeing people here be constructive, pose their figures and take the time to mimic a story with them
>>11836916Can they head swap?>>11838046Agreed. The old one looks a lot more accurate to the art.
>>11837683>I assumed that because you're on a thread about Marvel figures that you ya (mow, liked Marvel comics.NTA, but kind of an optimistic assumption to make when the popularity of the movies, cartoons, and games blew past the comics decades ago.
>>11838052I've never tried to pop the old head off and I'm kinda of nervous about trying. I don't think a lot of the old figures heads cape off too easily. I do think the old head looks more like Coipel's actual art, the whole figure does really, he's more barrel chested and built like Coipel draws him. The new one seems to be more of an evergreen version of him in this particular costume. The hair for instance is longer than Coipel tended to draw it. It's closer to pic related.
>>11838048Nah the plastic on the 2pack is very cheap plastic yellow. A metallic or chrome gold would have looked way better. Just looks so fragile.
>>11838058I do think a more metallic color scheme would look better, but I still think the 2 pack looks a lot better than the single release.
He's fantastic.
>>11838084
>>11838085He poses really well so he should be able to hit the MvC stance but I have a hard time pulling it off. Maybe I just can't visualize it in 3d space well I dunno.
>>11838086>Nick, look at the cake on this lad.
>>11838084>>11838085Not a fan of that particular color, reminds too much of the Ultimate symbiote. They do have an all black version and that's just my personal preference so I won't count it against the figure. That unmasked head though, yikes. >>11838086Yeah, I'm definitely getting Ultimate Venom vibes from this, but he needs to be more hulking.
>>11838085Reminds me of picrel. The figure just needs to be a bit buffer and it'd be a great Ultimate Venom.
>>11838089The color is more akin to Ultimate Venom for sure. I do like it personally but I can see others not being a fan of this color. Is Mess actually making a full black version? I'm personally hoping for an Anti-Venom variant.
>>11838084It's a bad custom, right?
>>11838048I'll buy this figure if/when they release the more articulated version with the colors from the single release. The colors on the 2 pack version just look like shit to me.
>>11838095Yeah I thought I saw on IG there are doing a black version and then maybe a red one, I can't remember now what the third one was. I can't seem to find the post now, so it could've just been someone customizing it for all I know. >>11838097Good for you anon, no one asked.
>>11838084>>11838085>>11838086Looks really good. Didn't even know he was out yet. Maybe I'll finally replace the Marvel Select which it shares a lot of the same accessories with except trading the Madness backpack for tendrils. Love the look of the MS, but its challenged by doing much more than standing upright. Hope a Carnage isn't far off.
>>11837973Like shit and piss on the floor? How do you use a toilet backwards?>>11838008>>11837989It's an odd coincidence that Mesphisto gets a solid looking figure release and he is involved in the books I'm reading. It took a good few years but I could actually go buy the cosmic figures I grew up loving as a kid, I think even Starfox has a figure not that I like him but he appears quite a bit.
>>11838128>I think even Starfox has a figure not that I like him but he appears quite a bitThey did just recently do Starfox, but he's locked in a two pack with the Champion of the Universe. Honestly, if you're in it for Cosmic Marvel, it's a pretty good set, if I were more into cosmic stuff, I'd probably get it. Honestly, I'm kinda tempted to get it just for the Champ to make him Wrasslor from that one Dexter's Lab short.
The blokees Sue has a good ass sculpt. The face painting can be fixed
>>11838156I don't spend money on figures to have to fix them myself
>>11838007I'm pumped. I hope he has a good Brock and Bagley head. I would buy it and like 5 bootlegs.
>>11838093needs Bagley head
>>11838156A lot more needs to be painted than the face. I'll wait to see Legends attempt.
>>11838211the sculpt itself also makes her look Asian, even though she doesn't look like that in the game
>>11838183It's a model kit rather than an action figure so it's more for customization
>>11838226it's obviously not a great quality one if it's 1/3rd the price of the average kit
>>11838211This looks terrible, and not just the model kit, the whole fucking design is awful. Why do people like this overly busy bullshit?
>>11838211that looks pretty damn neat. not my thing, but I dig it.
>>11838086If you are trying to balance him, keep in mind that it is impossible. Like Spider-Man, he doesn't have his center of mass over his feet in his stance, and it's only achievable with sticky feet (or a stand).
>>11838250>. Why do people like this overly busy bullshit? Some people just really love greebly Chinese designs.Look at how they go crazy for the Chinese Gundam knock-offs which seem to be an experiment into how many panel lines one person can cram into one piece.
>>11838286That may be why, thanks Anon.
>>11838085Are there two versions of this figure or are they all this color? I thought there was a black one but I haven't seen in hand pics yet.
>>11838084Why everyone saying this head is bad? Looks great to me. Sure it's a more anime style Eddie head but for being a third party I like it.
Didn’t think this would actually happen. Lmao amazon
>>11838413As of now it's just the dark purple. Early shots may have looked black? In hand no directly next to a light it's not as noticeable. Like some angles he looks black.
>>11838432Sculpt is definitely good. I think the hair just being yellow, without any wash (that I've seen) detracts a bit.
>>11838433You shouldn't be surprised anymore
>>11838433I did this.
>>11838466Based, I'm a big fan of your work
>>11838008shut up kanji, no one asked.
>>11838433You too anon?
psylocke on amazon yet?
>>11838665idk, sorry
Got the maximum Thor and not a fan of the stock big head so I swapped a different one, hands and feet are still too big but not as distractive as the head, and the silver parts looks really cool. The wired cape and better articulated troso are nice to have but toe joints is really useless this time and it should have been boots cut instead.
>>11838051I'm glad someone else got some enjoyment out of these. I don't always have the time, motivation or imagination to do stuff like that, but recreating iconic scenes and poses with my toys is one of the most fun parts of collecting to me. And, in the case of that Kingpin and DD, lets me feel a little more justified in picking up a new toy.>>11838036Love this. Tony being the whipping boy post Civil War did get a little ridiculous at times, but this is still one of my favorite parts of that run. Don't know what people are complaining about with the colors either, they look very much in line with the comics of the time.
>>11838712I'm convinced people just want to bitch for the sake of it. Like the guy who was bitching about Hasbro only doing tampos for Max Thor's bottom set of circles when it's the actual fucking design of the costume from the source material. But of course he didn't know that and just assumed it was Hasbro being lazy or something.
I know this is older, but if it saves me $8 to $10, would I get as passable a toy as the Retro Carded that doesn't seem to want to come down in price, in spite of being old itself?
>>11838250Basic designs can be good but often they are boring. We need higher levels of stimulation in current day to be satisfied with a design
>>11838665Why do people assume amazon will get her? Sometimes amazon skips random figures and only third parties add it to amazon
>>11838775Because Amazon got all three of the other Gamerverse figures. And, as it's been said numerous times now, she is a regular release. Standard release Bandai items have their or distribution channels to the US. This will show up at GameStop and Barnes and Noble too. What makes you think that Amazon would skip a regular release Bandai item? They don't. >>11838773>BoringJesus. Zoomers these days have such a short attention span fucking costumes have to be overly busy just to catch their attention.
>>11838781I'm a hyperstimulated Millennial, anon. Zoomers probably don't give a shit about comics to buy these figures at all.
I now understand why people have so many marvel legends.
>>11838211based white monster design.
>>11838789Why? Hoarding? Loving too many characters? Sales?
>>11838789No one asked. Go back to your Anthony thread.
>>11838787But Rivals Sue is from a video game, a fairly popular one at that. Not sure where you're trying to go with this argument... Also, simple is better. There's a reason black suit Spidey is so popular, there's a reason Nightwing reverted back to his simpler black and blue costume. I thought we were past the 90s and their goofy overly designed costumes, at least massive shoulder pads and pouches all over looked cooler than a overly textured, greebly designs of today.
>>11838792because everything is in some way connected, so you can always justify to just buy one more figure because it would fit in somehow.
>>11838806It's really weird how existential you guys get over buy8ng fickong action figures. Holy shit.
>>11838799Art traps the suffering of the artist within it--the toil the artist had to endure to create the work. When you view it, that energy is observable in each detail. The greater the detail, the greater depth of the artist's suffering to create the work, and thus the more it nourishes the viewer. The same is true for the work a sculptor puts in to sculpting an action figure or a modeler puts into modeling a video game character. The suffering of these people is portrayed in each exquisite detail. You only want a sip of the artist's suffering with plain, simple designs and figure sculpts, but others desire to drink deep.
>>11836646Looking forward to more of these. Hope we get Green Goblin.>>11837416Yeah. You are probably right. For classic anyway. I can't this of any that are as detailed.>>11837418kek.>>11838008I wonder if hasbro will do a deluxe re-release without the throne with pink deco. I'd probably get it then.>>11838563retard>>11838708That actually looks a lot better. Hasbro have a habit of doing the heads a bit too big for my liking.>>11838729Don't waste your money. Even as a stand-in the bucky cap mould sucks, the ab crunch even has gap if you don't center it properly.
>>11838128>I think even Starfox has a figure not that I like him but he appears quite a bit.Where are you currently reading?I was considering the same after his first appearance in IM, but he does nothing and then pretty much only has random cameos in Captain Marvel issues until the mid-80's. In the end I decided to skip on the set.

Jesus Christ.I really can't decide if you guys are so mad all the time that you purposefully misinterpret posts and make up shit that was never even stated just so you have an excuse to rage out at something, or you're actually genuinely fucking retarded and need to go back to the 2nd grade to learn basic fucking reading comprehension. Either way, shut the fuck up.
